I believe very soon, weekly rental figures will begin to reduce.
Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by mrsage(m): 6:56pm On Apr 06, 2017
Another prediction: Uber will continue to accept older cars. If you want to invest now, be careful with the car type.

I have a fresh Toyota corrola 08 ready to run. Any responsible driver that can use it for both Uber and Taxify only and offer me 45k only should contact me asap. Note the driver must be a married man with family. bluebarz@yahoo.com 09095233388.

You want a married man to give you 45k weekly

Fear God.

How will he work night shifts to make ends meet?

Lol, so i thought! Useful videos though, but not all are applicable to lagos. For instance the video that adviced you to wait like a few minutes if you dont see you rider before you place a call, here in lagos, as soon a you accept the trip the riders call immediately to confirm they just requested.... And they expect you to pick the call immediately whether u are on motion or not....

To all the new guys. Log into your app, scroll down and you will see a link to a video that will put you through all these questions

In a normal situation, you are expected to call your rider as soon as you receive the request. Some of those riders may not be at the pick up location ot might have put a wrong pick up location. Sometimes a 10 seconds call will save you a lot of fuel.

And again, you are expected to use your handsfree when making calls.

Not wanting to sound harh, it is better you drive the car yourself and make the 250k per week as Uber claimed. How many married drivers can stay outside through out the night?
There are only two sets of people who would accept this your offer. A desperate driver or a new person and the end result will be a damaged car. Watch it, the higher the target, the more your car is pushed to the extreme and before you know it, the car will be visiting the workshop regularly.

I know a partner who gave out his car for 35k per want the drivermust not go above 80k per week on Uber just because he does not want his car to be overused.

Please o, am caught up in the middle, Am planning to put up a car soon for uber driver but i must attend to these issues before business start
1: Fix AC changing compressor and other repairs that would cost roughly 60k ,
2: Install a car Tracker 30k and
3: Getting a good car comprehensive insurance for 30k...

Now the question is I can only afford to do 2 out of the 3 items, which should do I do first?

Uber minimum requirement for vehicle insurance now is a third party insurance. I'll advice you do 1 & 3 and then 2 later.
