By the way would you rather i said i have no food? That would not be fair of you. Grow up

I was actually expecting u to say you have. Since you have failed to list who you have helped or the impact you have made in your home town, i take it that you don't have the moral right to speak for your kinsmen talk less of your Ethnic

Let me finish my list.
1. We invented things in the space of 3 years that Nigeria never invented for 20 years.
2. We have a system of government that gives all ethnic group autonomy. Even in the then Biafra.

And again Nigeria did not starve us to death, Britain, Russia and others did through Nigeria in the fight for oil and their selfish interest.
This is 2017 Britain is no longer the Chief of UN security council, power has changed hands. Russia may likely not support the North with Putin as president, Britain is powerless globally with the recent exit from EU and there is a new sheriff in town in the US. So the odds is heavily against the Nigeria government in any eventuality of War. So before you quote me, do ur research

this your arguments is hugwash...the western nations want nigeria to disintegrate not stay toghether...

Sincerely, I do not see any reason why we igbos keep rubbing ourselves with mud. This is very disheartening and shameful. I do not know when our blood have become so watered by bloods and drinks from other places.

Igbo's are known to keep to themselves and not make noise but we have filled the cyberspace with noise and everyone wants to insult anything Igbo.

This generation of Igbos are not thick skinned, they are mere kids. You all just keep on spoiling the works our fathers started since after the war. They kept their mouths shut and moved up but now you all just shouts up and down and you cannot achieve anything.

Its time we start thinking. A kogi, Bini, isekiri and other small tribes can come out and talk against igbos now because you all can sit in a place and argue nonsense.

onye muru ndi a sef? Who gave birth to you boys claiming Igbo and ipob? Are you all insane dragging our tribe to shame?

Who are these people even taunting us with civil war? Do they know what it takes everyday to regain a place in the world map. What we struggled to achieve over the past 40years. Do you small boys attend Igbo meetings and listen to what is been discussed and stop all these online platforms?

You all need to start thinking and know what your fathers faced before we all got here.

To be Igbo is a pride and shouting in public is demeaning.
Plz lecture them kids

They didn't go anywhere. Igbos are liars, especially in cultural issues.

Most people of the south had established kingdoms which the white man came and had to politically deal with.

Igbos on the other hand, did not even know the boundaries of igbo land until the white man came and made Nigeria and injected some enlightenment. Igbos remained organised into villages and clans, the highest political form they could attain as a people till date.

That is why they don't even know how to in a civilized way, relate to other ethnic groups, as an ethnic group themselves.

When other ethnic groups were doing this over the years before colonisation, they did not, because there was no Igbo nation.

Now they know the area that they cover and they want ethnic identity like the other more established ethnic groups. But they know at the back of their mind, they have no collective "glorious" history.

So all this pettiness from them is just a mordern day quest for identity. They are an ethnic group on a quest in this day and time for ethnic pride and historic identity..

Unfortunately, that can only be forged from within, and not from misdemeanours without - not by relationship misbehaviour with any and every who happen to live in Nigeria with them

This long epistle of yours and you still made no point except state the obvious which everyone already knows. Igbos have always been confederates. Igbo land is a confederacy. We are not empire builders and neither are we empire chasers. Before the white man came, Igbos rarely had kingdoms. Igbos are a different breed, republican, highly democratic and firecely independent. We are not looking for historic identity, every Igbo sub- group has its own identity and history. We are not looking to be established either, thats not what Igbos about.

Which of the three ethnic groups knows its boundaries? The boundaries of Yorubalabd stretches into Benin Republic, the boundary of Hausa land stretches into Northern Ghana. The boudaries of Igboland stretches into the lower Benue, CrossRiver, Rivers, Delta and even Edo state.

As I said, you made no point except state things anyone in secondary School already knows

As for Itsekiris and Biafra, I will echo what Asari Dokubo said last time he called Radio Biafra.

Asari Dokubo: Itsekiris are not original members of Biafra, only a referendum will allow them to join us

I don't believe in that SE/SS trash...what I believe in is Igboid, Edoid, Ibibioid etc and Igboid territories span across the SE/SS. Keep eyeing them like the landgrabber you're and we'd pluck out your eyes! angry

Asari Dokubo: Itsekiris are not original members of Biafra, only a referendum will allow them to join us

So you have now agreed that you believe that youR ethnic groups did not know their boundaries.

Whereas Igbos did not know theirs, the old Oyo empire knew its boundaries.

Can you see how well the Itsekiri's articulated their ancient boundaries?

The Ijaw kingdoms of the south-south established theirs hundreds of years ago.

What do you think was the basis of wars between the Oyo empire and others in the past?
Or between the Okirika kingdom and Bonny Kingdom of Rivers Ijaw? All these before British came here

So you don't know it is largely territorial boundaries that were a cause of these conflicts in the past.

The military of the kingdoms concerned would be mobilized and they would go out to defend their territorial integrity.

Please, being a confederate does not equate to not being able to organise yourselves into a nation/solid block.

Your claim is just a groping in the dark for something to cover up what you may recognise to be a shortcoming.

The meaning of the word, confederation:
noun: confederation; plural noun: confederations
an organization which consists of a number of parties or groups united in an alliance or league.

In as much as you were not able to get your clans united into an alliance or league, you were not a confederation. You remained what the rest of the world met when they found you. Many clans and villages.

Inasmuch as other Igbo in the middle of Igbo land were perhaps celebrating one festival or the other, while eastern Igbo villages fought their Efik/Ibibio neigbhours over disputes when those disputes arose, scattered villages and clans remains the height of your historic politcal evolution.

I know it is a hard pill to swallow but we cannot go back and re-write history. We can only improve on it by what we do today.

which Biāfra soldier According to Rukwo commanders during the war, the place that Boro was killed(I think its around PH) had already been cleared of enemy forces the previous week...so if the place had been cleared already is it now the spirits of the dead soldiers that'd rise up and kill boro?
Anyway to prevent an uproar Nigeria blamed his death on "fleeing" Biafran troops and quickly split up the Rukwo brigade that Boro commanded previously and sent its soldiers among the various battalions that made up the 3MCD. These soldiers lost their lives fighting the Biafrans in the bloody battles of Igwe Ocha(Port Harcourt).
Anyway am sorry to the Rukwo that Nigeria had to stab them in the back after using them to drive out the biafrans undecided

Just saw this,Edo state has one tributary(ethiope river) running thru its south eastern most corner of the state, the vast majority of its land mass is not situated within the delta itself, but is adjoining it,pls again consult map.
The oil reserve allocated to Edo is mostly offshore, not land based, however it deserves to in the NDDC,but physically,it is barely in the delta rivers network system.the aforementioned S.E states are actually more embedded in the delta than it.that's the hypocrisy.
This nebulous'ethnicity' some people keep claiming Niger deltan does not exist anywhere except in the minds of those who have allowed the government to define who they are and what they are.
If the government comes tomorrow and tell them they are west deltan or east deltan, they will start claiming this,Edo are edos, they have been so for thousands of years.emancipate your mind and the rest will follow.
That was waht I meant in my quest to counter the Geographical definition of the Delta, if you was following me on waht I was saying.
