"NAIJ.com gathered that the British High Commissioner to Nigeria, Paul Arkwright stated that the United Kingdom is behind one and indivisible Nigeria."

"He noted that the unity of Nigeria should not be negotiable, stressing that the country will be better under one umbrella"

The "...Unity of Nigeria should not be negotiated", while they put BREXIT up for a vote, currently implementing BREXIT, also while the unity of U.K. is in questions as other component parts have voiced their desires to EXIT.

Why wont they? I urge you guys to watch this documentary : naij - a history of Nigeria by Jide Olanrewaju, you will see the well schemed plot by the British to undermine the progress of Nigeria by our unity since the amalgamation of 1914.

This means several things:

1. The US is also in support of one Nigeria because the UK and the US are long standing allies that never go against one another, especially on issues of sovereignty.

2. The UK and US are the most powerful members of the UN with veto powers, so a UN sponsored/supervised referendum is out of the question; it's just not happening.

3. In the event of military engagement in the quest for biafra, the UK and US will be on Nigeria's side again and defend her sovereignty (through sale of weapons or outright participation in the melee) like they did in 1967.

4. The Nigerian government now has even more impetus to prosecute and punish Nnamdi Kanu, a Briton, with this renewed UK support for an indivisible Nigeria.

5. The IPOB propaganda to paint Nigeria in bad light through fraudulent claims so as to gain the sympathy / support of the international community, has failed woefully.

What a sad day for the Liepods.

Another black African, with slave mentality let loose from the zoo.

Was there any country created to be indivisible?

A country can only exist as far as it is serving the needs of the people who came together to agree to belong to the country.

It is even suspected that the British man did not say what was credited to him in Kogi state. Even if he did, don't believe that Britain shall send army to fight Biafra for your Muslim/Fulani Empire Nigeria. That's like fighting together and sending arms to Islamic terrorists.

US and Britain will NEVER sell weapons to your Muslim/Fulani army to fight Biafra in today's world. No British or US soldier shall side with your quasi Boko Haram Janjhaweeds forces to fight Biafra.

Love peaceful Resolution of Issues - Use Referendum, as the British used it in Brexit and in Scotland.

It's stupid your dependence on war. After war, issues that caused war are still settled on the negotiation table.

The real thing we should be fighting for, and which I believe is achievable is the implementation of Confab reports; return the damn country to its structure before 66.

I just shake my head in pity when I see people with outpouring emotions running around shouting Biafra Biafra! Most ridiculous is the fact that 95% of the agitators picked up the idea just moments after their preferred candidate lost an election. undecided

Balkanising a country isn't beans, Nnamdi Kanu wasn't too far from the truth when he said the only way to break a country is through war. Is it really worth it plunging the nation into such needless crisis when the most fundamental issue (i.e. quality leadership) has not been addressed?

It is only a fool that will rejoice to the news. Britain had Brexit, and Scottish Referendum. Black Men are still in slavery. the British man is bluffing. We shall do to them what America did in 1776.

African cannot be united, African leaders are power drunken.

Unlike the U.S.A, Africans have different culture and tribes, our way of reasoning will never be thesame.

Common example is Nigeria with over 200 tribes and each tribe want their tribeman to rule.

And you are infusing more pessimism into the cock-tale of tribalism

But the UK (UN-UNITED KINGDOM) is in tatters. Scotland is on the way out, Northern Island has since gone. What remains now of the once great British Empire is now England, Wales and Channel Islands. Biafra will not leave by war because Britain and her allies have already cued in to complete what was unfinished by 1970. Our leaders should start looking to the Eastern powers now - Russia and China and their allies.

Nigeria has never been a country and never will...
It is the result of Britain's failed experiment
People living together is almost dissimilar interest, with nothing in common whatsoever..
North against East, West...
East against North, west...
West against East north....
Southern Nigeria is a mere Geographical statement..we all know how it came about.

How can you ever get people together under such conditions?
Can the North and West say why they hate the idea of the East breaking away..?
Do not say it will disrupt national unity for such a thing has never existed...
They have succeeded in moving much of the oil wells away from the East..so wtf??
I have a dream that one day, the West would want to break away....

This 'state' called Nigeria would never no peace until every 'Nation' inside it becomes identified.

Why are you all hypocrites fighting tooth and nail to prevent the Igbos from leaving Nigeria? I thought you people hate them so much, why are you insisting that they remain in Nigeria? One would have thought that other ethnic groups in Nigeria will be happy seeing the people they hate so much to leave Nigeria, but reverse is the case. Are you gaining anything from Igbos remaining in Nigeria?

This is a welcome development. Igbos and kanu are criminal, terorists, fraudsters and enemies of the state.

Britain should prevail on the FG to execute kanu now and shot at sight any ipob caught with Biafra flag or emblem.

Even ojokwu is laughing at the Igbos right at his grave.

We remain one Nigeria and united.

.....and this hate-filled one wants One Nigeria to continue.

Your sort is more reason why Biafrans intensify their plot to leave Nigeria.

Word of God says: For my words not to stand, heaven and earth will come to pass.

Again: For Biafra not to be restored, Britain and their collaborators will varnish from the surface of the earth.

This inconsequential concoction is obviously designed to weaken the zeal in Biafra children, but they're foolishly beating a dead horse, or maybe they're actually referring to the Independent People Of Britain (according to the concoction); we're the Indigenous Peoples Of Biafra, and for that concoction that says we want to secede from Nigeria, I must set the reality straight; We want to restore our aforeexisted nation (BIAFRA), there was Biafra thousands years ago before the fraudulent nijiriya. They want one fraudulent Nigeria for them to continue to milk our Oil, that means 'we the Biafrans have been the ones feeding them and they can't survive in the next 15 years without us, but their net don scatter.

A foreigner makes a political pronouncement about your country. You are happy. Why then did Britain leave the EU, if not for the fact that the EU makes major pronouncements about how the UK should be and be governed?

If not that you are a born PARASITE, you should have been angry that a foreigner is wading into your country.

You are either blind or confused...or BOTH.

1. Which country are you talking about? Biafra / Nigeria? You guys aren't always sure.

2. Secession is never encouraged by international law. Check Morocco, China and Sudan. The secessionists were largely ignored by the international community.

1. Most Nigerians don't mind if ibos leave Nigeria (it's not as if they contribute anything significant to the national purse; they produce less than 4% of crude oil), but what Nigerians will never accept is ibos trying to leave with more than their 5 states where they're the majority, and attempting to force the SS to go with them because of their oil wealth and access to the ocean.

2. Most Ibos voted Jonathan to rule a united Nigeria till 2019... how come in 2016 they suddenly want to break the country?

Did I hear you mention hypocrisy?

Search yourself for the honest answer to the above question and you will understand why certain Nigerians are against the Ibo secession at this time.

P.S nobody hates ibos, but everyone else detests fraudulent recalcitrant liepods and their ipob antics.

So the issue now is about the number of states the Igbos should secede with ? Hmm, that's in interesting! By the way, which region are you from and what's your contribution to national purse?
