LOL. You need to understand strains before delving into broiler production. Time they say is money and some strains hit table size before others. For each hatchery come different strains. frisky2good: 1 Like |

EMMAACHILE: I believe hatcheries are trying to cut costs by not going for expensive boxes that will be discarded as soon an the birds get to their destination. My zartech chicks I got in January came in brown cartons but the fidan chicks I got last month came in a very beautiful customized carton. |

frisky2good: Just out of curiosity, how much do u think is the difference BTW a plain carton and a branded one ? Negligible if u compare ,even more so when u consider the value of the doc inside the box Using customized is for branding ,to distinguish ur product and sell at a better margin .even though ur quality might not be better |

Re: ... by Turks: 4:00pm On Apr 09, 2017 |
Agrited hatchery has the Ross 308 PS hence their commercial broilers. They can hit 1kg -1.1kg or more in 4weeks if management practice and feeding regimen is on point. We can supply you sir if you want. State borders isn't a barrier as we ship nationwide. Attached is a picture of a Ross strain at day 5. Chibenze: 4 Likes 1 Share

pls, can I be supplied at ado-ekiti if I make orders from the same link you posted here? in addition, would there be other transport charges on my orders? |

I disagree sir. In terms of height, breastmeat, lean meat and weight, the Ross strain is a force to reckon with. EMMAACHILE: |

Personally, I make use of wood shaving and it has worked for me thus far. From Day 1 to Day 3, I spread newspaper over the woods having to prevent the chicks from picking and ingesting woodshaving particles from the floor till they're able to differentiate the taste of woodshaving from the taste of feed. Rice husk is also alright but it's not readily available at my location. koolpapa: 2 Likes |
