Good day my fellow aspiring Canada scholars. Congratulations to all those who were offered admission especially those who got full funding. Regrettably for me I haven't been able to secure a supervisor for both schools I applied to McGill and UBC that are willing to confirm my admission provided I secure a supervisor. I wrote no less than 60 different potential supervisors from both schools and was rejected by all of them. Despite my high CGPA and fact that I got good recommendations and a published work none of them seem interested. They all had very convenient excuses to give. Well even though I still have till end of the month to find supervisor I think the handwriting on the wall is clear enough for me. So on that note I will bow out from this race. Hey, it's not all doom and gloom for me though. Today I got ITA to apply for express entry under FSW. So I will work with that. Hopefully when I enter Canada my masters application will be more fruitful. You guys have been great esp d gurus helping people out packaging their applications. @ Osemigho....start packing your bags and buy your one way ticket to Calgary I know Ur TRV is on the way already. I wish u all success in your academic endeavours. Go to those Canada schools and excel. Show them what stuffs we Nigerians are made of. Be the best! Peace.....Ciao! 18 Likes 2 Shares |

preciousa2: Forex intervention for tuition is limited to 15kUSD, and did not make provisions for living expenses/cost of living. So how do you tackle this part? Don't get me wrong, I am in alignment with your thoughts on this. However, any VO that wants to be thorough may discountenance with the circular issued by CBN as it does not fully address the concerns and requirement of IRCC in this regard. Even more so, there people whose tuition fee per year is far and above 15kUSD. CBN DID NOT MAKE ANY COMMITMENT OR FOREX INTERVENTION FOR LIVING EXPENSES ABROAD...This is a snag that needs to be cured before placing heavy reliance on the CBN circular. My advice for prospective applicant is ensure to pay at least 1st year tuition fee to mitigate or ameliorate the concerns of the VOs. On another note; I think this CBN circular is the closest to addressing this conundrum as against the former. https://www.cbn.gov.ng/Out/2017/CCD/Press%20release%20on%20False%20claim%20by%20banks%20on%20PTA.pdf 3 Likes |

Hello Bro, Am highly motivated to go through your note, it gives me hope on my awaiting Admission letter from MUN. Plus, I wouldn't mind if you can guide me on how to secure ITA for express entry. I wish to give it a trial just like you. I applied to Memorial University early last month with all necessary documents but I haven't gotten any reply from the school.. I sent a mail few days ago, but I was told my file still under review. I still keep the hope high, will join the successful ones here soon. freeradical: |

r4blessing: My living expenses is what i have on my own. It has nothing to do with the school. What i paid to the school is tuition fee, lab fee, student levy and books. so for living expenses, i have that as cash which is about CAD10k, which my sponsor declared for me. |

freeradical: Para 1: Congrats bro. There are several ways to achieving one's mission. Thank you for trying "the other room". Perhaps, a last minute miracle can still happen and you will be offered admission. Then you will be "international" turn "local". That will complete the testimony. Para 2: Amen o. God that started it will perfect it. Fola, get ready for my call. Para 3 & 4: That is the spirit. God bless you. I will like to discuss " the other room" with you. I am aware of how busy you will be very soon. So, take your time to reply me. It will end with praises. 1 Like |
