Your ? is very vague.

Without funding for whatever MSc u may wanto pursue, budget between 20 million Nigerian Naira to XXmillion Nigerian Naira.

Thanks for your comment. Much helpful than others

Based on the trend of events by CIC and d much I have gathered from reading through this thread, I would say yes your friend has a point.

Please note that d gurus here advocate for a relationship between your intended course and your past academic and/or work experience.
If there is no relationship, a strongly worded SOP/LOE is needed in order to "hopefully" convince the VO as to why d chosen course although not related, is d best for the applicant.

But then, prayer availeth much.

#my1kobo

Anyway before applying I asked the department if they accept students that their background are not philosophy and the said yes as long as I have a strong reference and academic performance and I graduated with a second class upper division

Thanks, I am still asking both questions on behalf of the same person, I hope I didn't confuse you, so I try to ask again so I am sure I understand you very well.

He has just been admitted to a polytechnic in Canada for a 2years diploma Starting 2017 fall and his level of Education here in Nigeria is secondary school.

So is it ok , if he submits the online print out of the GCE result alone without needing to submit transcript of last 3years in Secondary School because the transcript fit be bomb o, lol
You are just repeating the questions i have given answers to already. The results print out is okay. The essence of a transcript is to show grading and courses taken. A secondary result provides all the information needed.

By the way, you should advise your friend to come here and gather information for himself as well as ask any bothering questions. If you keep asking for your "friend" , you wouldn't be doing any good.

Hello house

Repect to all the gurus! A friend just finished Secondary School

Something is bothering him as he tries to gather documents and submit to vfs in person.

He has Finished Secondary School and he is planning to submit print out of his GCE result to VFS since the original certificate certificate of the O'level result he intends to use ( Nov/Dec GCE 2016) would only be out by December this year.

Would VFS accept the online print out from him and moreover would Canadian Embassy work with this while they process the application?

He has secured unconditional admission already in a polytechnic.

Many Thanks for your advise
Yes he can use his print out result.

Both VFS and the embassy will accept the print out as they don't accept originals of documents anymore. So just include the printout, it's acceptable as proof.

Do you mean to say vfs and embassy don't accept original documents? But in their requirements it was stated that you include the originals and photocopies of all documents being submitted.
This is because I intend submitting the originals of all my landed properties and proofs of my share in a family business through the memorandum article and shares.
Please what is the status of submitting original documents

original documents are not accepted at VFS only letters directly address to the embassy must be original. every other docs are or must be in photocopies. this is based on experience. @Austinpee4 has given u the needed info, if you still cast doubts in your mind, go with the originals and make sure u com back to this thread with the gist of how it went at VFS. #CaseShouldBeClosed#

Funny cos the question look silly. Prove us wrong by reading a bit and asking more direct and reasonable one.

Hello guys. I'm interested in studying in canada for my msc. For someone who doesn't have an international passport yet. like how much total cost from the acquisition of passport, visa, tuition, tickets etc, to finally getting there will i be looking at.
Minimum to maximum range. Thanks.

To make things easy for you, You need to get admission first.

Read on that and prove you have done something.

i wasn't the one who asked about the original waec result.
I'm asking based on other original docs, which no one has addressed the issue before now.
So do get your facts right.

VFS stopped collecting ORIGINAL documents as instructed by the embassy. This is due to the fact that all documents submitted in support of an application automatically becomes the property of the canadian embassy/government and will/may not be returned to applicant. Only original copy of STATEMENT OF ACCOUNT,ADMISSION LETTER (coloured printout of soft copy is acceptable) and any LETTER addressed to the embassy should be included. Other documents should be photocopies.

Honestly am tired! Getting a supervisor for masters study in Canada is more difficult than getting the visa itself.
I have sent countless emails to all the supervisors in the program I want to study but they all gave me one or two excuses. I don't really know what else to do.
Considering the fact I have been delayed before cos I was going through pgd, I would have applied for another pgd course but am afraid I may be delayed again.

I know it can be very challenging, but have you sent email to up to sixty professors in your research field at all universities in Canada, after reading their profile?

If yes, sorry, you may try other options like course based programs or a well drafted SOP with your PGD admission.

If no, reach that sixty before complaining to my ears oo. Lolz! I did and got about seven "yes".

I don't pray anyone face the stress I faced to get the yes. However, you have to break the 50-60 email benchmark before I give you kudos. Lolz!

I know it is not easy. But Keep trying and ensure you are doing it right.

An overall profile problem as related to the program you are going for.

Restrategize and refire.

It will end with praises.
