The show has a lot of potential it isn't utilizing and that's sad to be honest.

Grant Gustin's Barry Allen is so inconsistent, fast with activities that don't matter (like getting stuff from the grocery store in seconds to impress iris) & slow in everything else important.

The writers are doing a poor Job with Wally West in my opinion.

Ps: Why the heck does future Barry just look Emo...why spare the cost in trying to make him actually look 7 years older through make-up

I think savitar is Barry....the 'time remnant' Barry that disintegrated/got lost in the speed force at the end of season 2 when Barry was trying to outrun Zoom...i think he got lost/trapped in the speedforce in that episode and so hated Barry for creating him..u remember he was always saying to Barry that 'you put me here/you made me'.
.u also remember even though he's a time remnant, he actually has all of Barry's memories and also the same shared 'history' and so disintegrating and been trapped in the speed force for what seemed like an eternity mightav made him go crazy and a lil insane..the events of flashpoint might v brought him back..

That’s not even the most annoying thing. The most annoying thing about “The Flash” is Team Flash has to feed Barry speed-force tips over the radio during battle. It’s ridiculous. Barry Allen is supposed to be a scientist, yet he can’t seem to figure out how to use his powers without Cisco, Caitlyn and Team Flash. This is the same for all the CW super-hero shows.

Why do DC heroes have to have someone back at home base tell them what to do? On "The Flash," Cisco had to save Barry from Captain Cold's cold gun by using some sort of remote-control seat warmer. (Which, by the way, he neglected previously tell Barry existed, and we will probably never see again).

On "Arrow," Oliver can't take a dump without Felicity using some sort of GPS technology to locate a bathroom. On “Supergirl,” Kara gets advice from the DEO and her non-powered sister on how to use her powers.

I recently watched my DVDs of the “Flash” show from 1990, featuring John Wesley Shipp as Barry Allen. In one episode, he's trapped in a vacuum chamber with a security guard; The Flash quickly realizes he can use the guard's badge to cut a hole in the glass at super speed. If this same scene was in Flash (2017), dimwit Barry would have to ask Cisco and Caitlyn for advice on how to use his powers.

It's almost like the producers want the powered characters to be the doers, but the folks back in the Arrow Cave, Star Labs, secret lair, whatever, to be the brains. But that doesn't fly, so to speak, especially in Barry Allen's case. I can't imagine Kara's adopted sister knows more than her about using heat vision, yet there Alex was, giving her advice in the middle of a fight.

I know it's really trendy for superheroes to have an on-screen family, etc., but the show is called "The Flash," not "The Flash and his amazing disembodied voice friends."

There are instances we've complained about slowpokeness of the flash, I mean, when he's fighting villains, he's just a freaking normal human being, because I see no reason why someone running at speed of light can't outrun a powerbike, or grodd, or gypsy, or everyone of this villains. I mean, go watch LoT, no one, not even all those powerpuffed ever see Eobard coming, he's too fast for them to ever stop, but Barry, heck, even Grodd stops him, lol, I'm sure a snail character would stop him too. But come to think of it, he's a time remnant, they don't get mad at their predecessors, cos they always sign a death warrant after accepting to help their predecessors. So he helped Barry distract Zolomon, and after that, his job his done, was he supposed to be living?

If zooms time remnant didn't take it personal, reverse Flash's time remnant didn't take it personal, so, why would flash's time remnant take it personal?


But yeah, based on this theory, it could be Flash
