We even export power to Togo and Benin (yes, I find that one funny too when we can't meet half our own needs). Benin Republic is basically dependent on Nigeria to survive due to the massive importation (vehicles, rice etc) we do through our land borders with them after their government have made money from import duties. It's foolish to deny that due to our population and an economy far bigger than the rest of West Africa COMBINED, we are the most influential ECOWAS nation. Like I said before, are you nuts?

you trade with your immediate neighborhood but the rest of west Africa doesn't. Don't say, you supply oil to west Africa because your country did not make that happen.

Because, Ghana's sole effort is the reason why you can pump gas to three west African countries.
Ghana made WAPCO possible. The bulk of West African trade is between Ghana, Ivory Coast, Burkina Faso, Liberia, Senegal, Gambia and Togo.
