Abeg who created easter monday other than people travelling back to their base after easter sunday, cos if am correct today should be Doubting Thomas Day.
I guess this was meant in a lighthearted manner in which case it's a funny joke. But in case you actually wanted to know, Easter Monday is an important day in the Catholic Church and was given the name as such. As for it being a national holiday I guess that's because the actual holiday fell on a weekend (Sunday) and as we know in Nigeria, the first working day after a holiday that falls on a weekend will also be a public holiday.

What was the reason the guy gave, I mean why they chose you? wink kiss
Jazmiynne:
Lolz

Good evening.

Mine was An Experience smiley

You might have noticed that I like long posts to explain what I really mean.... So before I start my epistle, let me say that as much as I LOVED the experience yesterday, my heart has been in my mouth as I've replayed the interview a million times trying to place some kinda score for myself... Lolz I can't wait to see the mail #anticipation #hope #faith

I'd start with plenty kudos to Sahara. Oh my word! They can keep to time shaaa! in time not on time cheesy I think this is part of my crazy affection for the firm.

My team was fabulous! When I realised twas' to be a group work, I prayed for a good team. And I loved what I got. 3 handsome men, 3 beautiful ladies and the team was set! We got on like wild fire. It was fun to brainstorm with them really and it was even more exciting as we presented and nobody was stuttering or fidgeting. Choi! I silently said HalleluJah! I don't know their monikers, but mehnn kudos to my team, we made teamwork look so sweet. Yaayyy and the sweet feeling was evidently mutual for them as they decided to make me team leader. Lemme quickly add that... my best part facing the panel was where they asked the team why they chose me to lead, tell you the truth, I had no idea why! But one of my teammates gave a reason that humbled me. It felt really good to see myself in another's eyes.

Owkkaaaayy now that I've totori you and you are now feeling how sweet it must have been.. ... grin

Facing the panel was another level of experience. They asked questions that must make you use your brain. The discussion was engaging. And my team and I gave it a really good fight. At some point they asked a question which I think confused some members of the group cos their response to the question had me dropping my jaw in surprise. We had our flaws wella but I loved the fact that none of us seemed to get deterred by it. We just kept on pushing. It was an exciting one really.

In all, I loved learning and seeing for myself how quickly we could get to work together as a team to yield success.
It was fun meeting with individuals I'd never met and yet we just clicked intellectually.
I LOVED the brainstorming
I enjoyed the experience
It taught me some new stuff about me
It taught me the power embedded in a team focused on success

Really, I don't know what mail I'd get... I sincerely hope it's a success mail. Nevertheless, I'd still repeat again that I LOVED the experience. Loved the test of thinking ability... Loved the brainstorming

It makes no sense for them to send GAP and GMTP mails only, and then hoard GAAP mails. GAP and GAAP candidates did their interview on the same day.

Bruv, what agroronnie wrote is the only thing making sense right now. That GAP and GAAP did their interviews on the same day doesn't necessarily mean they have to get mails the same day.

My statement was directed at whoever is handling the sending of feedbacks (Sahara) not agro.ronnie per say.

yup, thats how GAAP rolls, just like egg roll!
anyways.... when gmtp says someone received a success mail, that is something to commend because i know it was a really though stage 3 for them.
@thavybe... just calm down, expect GAAP success mail tomorrow or thursday.
I wish the success mail gmtp candidate could copy paste the content of the mail so that we can be sure that the email stated "final stage", cos they can know how to surprise people ehhh.

I will just be like, "Thank God I just finished an interview section with the CEO and am hopeful for a positive response, let me be on my way" and you will hear, "sorry.... psss!..... ehh!... excuse me, where are you going, have you met the Jesus Panel upstairs"?
me: (surprised) shocked "No Sir,"
Sahara Guy: "And you are just leaving like that".
Next up surprise Test!!

LMAO, Make we cross this one first before i start to think of the Jesus Panel in the final stage.

Bia, agroronnie look at how you are authoritatively saying that success mails will roll in for GAAP candidates tomorrow OR Thursday, what is your "sauce"? and if you happen to be right, does that mean any mail that comes in for GAAP today will be a regret mail? If that is the case, Sahara abeg keep my mail till tomorrow or Thursday o grin

GMTP is actually the heart of this whole programme, so i was expecting it to be more competitive.

Re: Sahara Group Graduate Program 2017 by aiphee16: 4:03pm On Apr 18, 2017
Didn't do anything special. Just sold myself as well as I could. The main problem I saw in my team was that being nervous made a lot of them forget their rehearsed presentation.
Also, they couldn't answer correctly when they set some traps in the questions about our case study.
