15kg!!!!! How does one add that much. I am 22 weeks and I have added just 1kg,because Pre pregnancy weight ranged between 61 and 63,I am now 64kg. I have a scale at home. I lost about 4kg during first trimester I am just finally gaining my pre pregnancy weight.

Let me encourage you. I added about 23kg in pregnancy, nothing that they didn't use to abuse me, all the enemies of my slimness within the 1st week post partum I dropped 18kg (I had cs so the only thing I did was b.reastfeed) once I could, I started walking round my estate, 10,000 steps a day now I'm back to pre preg weight after 9 weeks. My target is my pre marriage weight sha, 10kg to go, I've given myself 3 months. I can't really diet cos of BF so it's plenty exercise

Dey asked me to clean d area with warm water and disinfectant... But a friend told me to start my sitz bath after my stitches av fallen off by itself...that way my episionomy site would av healed a bit..and wouldn't av d chance of loosening... That's OK too ryt..

I advise that you follow strictly what your doctor reccommends because he is the one that knows what method of stitching he used on you. Some Method of stitching will allow for warm water use without melting while some will not melt even with hot water.

Ok thanks a lot, I'd follow this religiously cuz I'd like to be healed in 8 days too. Was so scared to pee yesterday but strangely it doesn't hurt.

My bumbum is story for another day, it's so painful I can't even sit, I did the whole pounded yam thing yesterday as an Igbo girl with Igbo inlaws but I agree with you, I'd start soft food for soft poo or I'm screwed.

my dear do wat mama zaynie said. it really helped me. to poo is always painful at dis point. d bum bum is scared dat was wat I was told . but d earlier u start pooping d better for d bum bum. pls wat does omogwu food small small I no how delicious it can be and tempting too. but don't take much so.u can be able to poo. eat more of fruits to help u poo. fast healing to u

Truth be told, that body cannot go back to the way it was pre-pregnancy. My honeypot still doesn't feel the same on the outside to me like it was when i was in 'sango ode'. Thank God for kegels wink

The inner city is as tight as ever cheesy

Sometimes it looks like i am about to be deflowered again when doing the do. That stuff works. I started doing it right from the hospital before discharge and still doing it now. I have gotten so used to it that my body does it on it own unconsciously.

Mama it was d viju milk. Mangoes could not have probably bn d cause. Viju milk is filled with sacharine...

I take mangoes alot in my first pregnancy and even in dis my second pregnancy and my baby was/is fine.

The sitzbath bath they warned you about was the hot water / lsteam that was used before.
The one I described is warm water.... warm enough to sit in without any kind of pain.
The warm water soothes.....the feeling is heavenly when you sit on it. Once the stitches come off, the site is healed already and you only do the sitzbath to relax the muscles around there.

Hello mommies, what do you all have to say on DELAYED CORD CLAMPING? I read itz essential for d baby but I want to know how many of u has tried it before and if their was a difference btwn DCC and IMMEDIATE CORD CLAMPING?

Great benefits I've read it gives to baby and mum. That allowing the clamp delay enables your baby to take extra nutrients from the placenta etc.

If you want this be sure to tell your birth handlers ahead of time, they will delay the clamping unless somethings else interferes for the DCC not to be done.
E.g. deterioting placenta or emergency cesarean.

Hello mama's,i went for antenatal today nd decided to do scan Hmmmm I was told my baby weigh 3.74kg nd tears jst roll down my cheek haa,dis pikin won tear my jajana patapata ooh..can i be taking Lipton tea so dat he won't increase in size again.pls mama help me choke mouth cusz i fail to believe sah cry

So yesterday was my Ante-natal Appointment, immediately i was called to see the doctor, without me saying anything, he said ''go and get a gloves' Thank goodness i thought about it the night before that the doctor might want to examine me, so I took a pair from the hospital bag packed since i wasn't ready to buy any yet.

I gave him the gloves, and he told to pull down my cloth for examination...chai that's how he put his hand inside my vagina and forced it inside, moving it up and down...come and see me shouting, it wasn't painful like that oo i was just uncomfortable with it....(I think what he did is Membrane sweep)

Note that according to LMP, I'm just 39weeks 3days.

Immediately, he removed his hand i was so relieved, he didnt even bother measuring anything..only listened to the baby's heartbeat and send me away to come back on monday...he was now asking if i have had children before, i told him No..just wondering why he asked

Me, I'm almost due and i dont know the weight of my baby..the only constant thing is that every time i go for ANC and I check my weight its always increasing..even weekly checkups. I dont even know who is adding the weight between myself and the baby..

pre-pregnancy my weight ranges btw 54-57maximum now i'm 79kg...i cant come and die jare, the Lord is with me

After the membrane sweep done yesterday..I started seeing Mucus Plug, it look like a catarrh discharge but very brownish like that one that used to come out before menstrual pains.

Hoping to start having painless contractions and eventually give birth.

Please able mamas, how many hours or days does it take to give birth immediately after mucus plug is seen?

This was what I did.
Sitzbath: warm water with salt and savlon. Sit so that the site touches the water. You can sit for like 5-10 minutes. Then swipe with cotton wool and savlon to dry up the place. Do the sitzbath like 3ce

Till your episiotomy heals... Then you can chow all you want

My friends stitches melted and the tear opened up. When she sent back to hospital, doc said it was the sitz baths... maybe temperature matters

What did you end up using?

Smallest size available, what size diapers were used and how long did baby/babies stay in them for or how long before the average diapers started to fit them well.

Diaper costs / how long a pack lasted/ number of changes a day.

Any challenges and frustrations? What you wish you could have that would have made the whole process easier.

. Just saw ur post now. Being offline for a while. On diapers issue, i started with pampers premium(mini), molfix have newborn size. My baby is on the big size now am experimenting on Midi. The challenges are much cos I have to watch her 24/7

Yes it was the temperature. Like it was sed earlier,d water should be warm and not hot. It was in those days that mothers use very hot water cos of the kind of stitch they get,but these days the stitches don't have to be loosened and all. So pls let's not forget that it's warm water oooo cos going back to be restitched can't be funny rara.

I usually give birth same day i see mucus plug.
First one was around 15hrs while second one was like 7 hrs interval.

1) is the diaper waterproof? That is, hope it doesn't leak out when wet.
2) is the insert disposable or its the reusable type like a napkin?
3) if each cost 400 & 200 respectively, how much is dozen price? Especially the insert.
