Premium times are reporting as if they have copies of the memo.I expected them as a responsible media organization to provide copies of this memo they are quoting from.Like I said earlier Jonathan will not respond to allegations made by faceless and unknown sources. If all these allegations are true then I don't think their will b any need for the FG and EFCC to set up a committee.

I read a report where it was stated that a comprehensive report was made to the current NSA on the activities of the agency where funds allocations and disbursement were detailed.....the NSA is a memeber of the three man panel and will have to pour light on that when the time comes

Story for the gods. Why on earth is the NIA DG not in custody? No mater how the APC media spins this ,we will never be deceived. The party will be kicked out in 2019 and true probe instituted into this shameful probe and cover up!!

I'd love to know your IQ level honestly.. if atal you're married or have kids

you so much deviate from proper reasoning.. or maybe you're just faking it sha cos I wonder the kind of family and kids you'll end up raising

Well, as a normal, right thinking human being., the DG can't be jailed just like that cos he was acting on the then GCFR's orders and not his own.
GEJ should be the one behind bars now till investigations are completed

No wonder the country was awashed with dollars during the last election...and inflation kicked in later.

The DG cornered some for himself and his family. His own part of the famous national cake.

The CBN spokesperson, Isaac Okorafor, had on Sunday denied knowledge of how the funds were released to the secret service agency.

The CBN denied knowledge.
The NIA denied ownership.
Yet the cover up stories continue.
Are we fools?

This is sad.

67.2 Billion that could have built good schools round all the corners of Nigeria.

67.2 Billion that could have built world class specialist hospitals in all the States in Nigeria.

67.2 Billion that could have revamped our refineries.

67.2 Billion that could have built good roads around the Country, especially those bad roads in the East.

67.2 Billion that could have equipped our Military to be one of the best in the world.

67.2 Billion that could have touched everybody's life one way or the other in Nigeria.

But what happened?Goodluck Jonathan led a very organized crime ring,to KILL and BURY Nigeria.

About 15 people stole what belongs to almost 200 Million people.

If you are still supporting the last Government. Just walk slowly to the "Mirror" in your bathroom, and very slowly whisper to yourself " I was Born a Fool"

Then come back to this thread ,and look at the amount again "67.2 Billion" and then repeat the " I was Born a fool" again.
You are not a fool, you will never be one, not even born as fool.. We are only been born into weird country where odd event do occurred.

Clearly, the DG NIA didn't lie sha.
So is that why he had to cry?
he cried cos he got caught. He had probably planned an early retirement and enjoy yearly expensive vacations on yatch in the carribean with his family. Imagine what billions of naira can do to ones life .. lol.

it would be nice if you can show us a prooof of the 2017 stamp. some say its 2016...any proof would do. 2016 or 2017.

I am not in support of any party. Just here as a neutral observer. I am not affected by the hardship in Nigeria.

How can such fund be released from Cbn and the Cbn governor and co could not monitor it to know if it was well spent .
Even the government in power .

I just thank God for buhari , if not it could have been more disastrous .

Buhari should just order them to put the money in STA single treasury account . Is our money .

God will punish all of them that wanted to collapse this country

leave the zombies

they are confused

same people gave the grasscutter a clean bill

same people suspended him

no sign of court process against lawal, he will walk away with billions made from PINE contracts and people like antiwailer will come here and shout buhari is fighting corruption and expect sane people to believe him..

all in a bid to distract people from the scam that tried to play but instead got entangled in it

It took them how many days to come up with these cooked up story. Goodluck Ntoooor.
Even the crimes being committed under this administration will somehow be traced back to GEJ, because he was too weak to take a stand.

What are you saying...A case needs to be built first and that starts with fact finding.....so the first step is to suspend him..........In as much as we all have a right to criticise, try to be objective......

That report provided extensive details of how bullion vans were used by government officials to cart away the cash to unknown destinations.

In the memo, with reference number NSA/366/S, dated November 2014, and entitled: “Request for Funds for Special Services,” Mr. Dasuki’s office called the attention of CBN Governor, Godwin Emefiele, to a previous discussion on a request to withdraw $47 million cash, out of a certain N10 billion earmarked for an unbudgeted “special services”.

To the bolded i submit that Jonathan was a disaster, the biggest error in Nigeria governance, he was and still colossally corrupt.

Jonathan should not be walking a free man in the society, he should be in the prison.
