TheSuperNerd: Ugo Ehiogu was a straight forward honest and a man of unquestionable integrity. He was a purist the best player first. Never interested in agent arrangements or any other under handed practices. A few years ago I took a Nigerian origin U16 striker to Tottenham. After 30 minutes he stopped the training session and yes Onomah was there and sailing front of everyone this guy is Killing you guys. He immediately gave the boy the kit requested he wants him in the team etc, etc. Ugo was the U18 coach at Tottenham along with Ramsey and Ferdinand. No need for settlement etc. However, other matters got on the table. So he didn't end up signing for Tottenham. That wasn't Ugo' s fault. I have heard about him, might have seen him. But in Liverpool fc there is no age group you don't have at least 3 Nigeria Origin players or more starting from the age of 6/7 upwards, from my estimation. I'm told Emeka for a fifteen year old he is very tall and well over 6ft tall, not surprisingly he is a defender. Man U and Man city, youth coaches said told me they didn't rate him that he was technically not up to scratch. However, that might be sower grapes because they did not get the opportunity to sign him. Nonetheless, Bury are in League 1 and a typical kick and rush team. Otherwise, I can't say anything cause I have never seen him play. 1 Like 1 Share |

TheSuperNerd, Is this Omidiji better than Celtics 13 year old Dembele who at 13 playing for the U20's. And yes he is my son See clips below, I truly haven't seen a kid at the age of 13 with this level of skill, awareness, speed and ability. Truly amazing. And in case you are wondering ni age cheating he was born in London https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KpAZtiLmQtE https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-3qSTsEKkXM If Omidiji is as good or even comparable to Dembele then he will be something to watch for the future, sky is the limit for him. |

Wow! Thanks so much for this...... Someone who knew Sir Ugo up and close..... I only saw him on TV as a kid doing his thing for Middleborough and Leeds..... RIP Sir Ugo.... your good deeds and values shall remain in the lives that felt and saw them. All is well Good Sir...... But Sir Komekn.... forgive my curiosity, but what have become of this Nigerian-origin U-16 striker? is he still actively involved in soccer? And the issues that prevented his signing... what were they exactly? or if you feel you don't have to talk about the issues.... plss don't... I will understand. And you are right about Emeka.... well over 6ft.... I think he is about 6ft 8inches or so (above 2 meters) if not more... so tall mehn... Maybe you could keep an eye on him too if you feel like.... I have heard some rave reviews about him. And having at least 3 Nigerian-origin players throughout the youth ranks of Liverpool's academy is interesting... same as Arsenal too I think... and even Chelsea and A few more at mancity.... but along the line many of them are sold or probably sent out right? I am really curious why many of them may end not making it... it cannot be that all of them are not talented naa abi? or maybe it is the corruption you spoke of one time too right? of preferring an "English" to an "African-Origin" youngster in many cases? Anyway.... thanks for the reply... I found it useful.... very useful indeed. komekn: 1 Like |

Come on Sir Komekn.... I have been following this Karomoko kid for a while now.... how can I doubt his age? He looks somewhat bigger and "has more flesh" than Omidiji though but ofcos they are both agemates.... And I knew it!!!! hahahahahahahahaha..... people make una come ooooo..... You all know that Moussa Dembele at Celtic Is Sir Komekn's nephew Karamoko Dembele is Sir Komekn's son! In fact... I am suspecting that all the dembeles are Sir Komekn's relations in one way or the other..... And on a flip side.... Why do all the Dembeles know how to play Football so fucking well?? Wetin!!!! na only dem waka come??!!!!! Sir Komekn.... you and your Dembele Dynasty should take your time ooooo.... Back to matter: This Karamoko Dembele is a class act for a 13 yr old.... the clips you dropped I have them already.... I have watched them a few times and I gotta tell ya, the lad is very very good and has limitless potentials. I like the video quality that shows his best game plays. He has nice coverage unlike Omidiji.... Lemme indulge you then with some of Lateef Omidiji's videos from YouTube... not many cover him or make clips of him but the ones I could find are mostly on Omidiji's channel... I guess his parents are doing the video compilations for him the best way they can and they even have a channel for his younger brother Rasheed Omidiji... another talented youngster who is still under 10.... here is a freekick he took against bigger boys while still playing academy football in Holland or USA... (not sure which) I will drop some more soon... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IAZIodZYpHQ komekn: |

Sir Komekn.... a little more on Lateef Omidiji Jnr for your viewing pleasure.... please pardon the video quality and angle of views for most plays.... but you know quality when you see one from any angle don't you? This is Lateef... touted by several top scouts to be the best 13 yr old in the world.... i speak of scouts who have observed both him and karomoko of Celtic. It would interest you that the top clubs of Europe came for Lateef.... and interest hasn't stopped flowing in his direction. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zBvmjLhhTnI https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ktjO8Rd84gs https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lS4vwQOp8KM https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z5Ml44Y5EQw In this last one... you will him in jersey no.11 doing most of the good works.... and he scores a lot of goals. Boy is a fantastic forward and finisher and can take freekicks so well..... I could give you more... but let these short videos do... the first three are very short and may not be even up to a minute... it is hard to find a well compiled video on Lateef made by other parties on YouTube... this is why I follow his channel to access his improvements and videos when I can. And his clips on his first days at Feyenoord just got uploaded yesterday and guess what... dude is already banging in goals and tearing defences apart with his pace, technical giftedness, quick feet and finishing.... So Sir Komekn... karomoko Dembele got the coverage and also the talents but Omidiji also got the talents if not the coverage like Dembele does... but in the accessment of scouts from around the world... Omidiji is at par with Dembele or even better as an all-round player/forward. But both are real pearls and I only hope they can both keep progressing very well indeed. |

Victor Moses on show people...... FA Cup action..... 12'Victor Moses steals possession away from Victor Wanyama close to halfway and the wing-back surges forward into the Spurs half before being bundled to ground close to the right-hand touchline by Wanyama. Chelsea could perhaps count themselves unfortunate not to have got a free-kick there as referee Atkinson awards them a throw-in. Game is now Chelsea 1-1 Tottenham.... And I wonder why Ola Aina couldn't make the bench.... well, both managers obviously wanna be in the final so even their bench is stacked with their star players. 1 Like |

Moses Victor is still on show in #FA Cup Action... he won Chelsea the penalty and they are now 2-1 up thanks to Willian. But Tottenham is balling ooo... especially Dele Alli, Dembele and Son.... and it was Son who fouled Moses in the box even. Meanwhile, in Italy's serie A, Okonkwo Orji (#30) and Sadiq Umar (#19) are on the bench as Bologna trail Atalanta away by 2 goals to one.... that is the half time score. 1 Like |

Leon Balogun Dazzles For Mainz 05 Against Bayern Munich In Stalemate German Bundesliga Champions elect Bayern Munich suffered a mini setback in their quest to wrap up the league title with games to spare after drawing 2-2 against Mainz 05. Mainz 05 opened scoring as early as the 3rd minute of play courtesy of Bojan Krkic, Bayern hit back through Arjen Robben in the 16th minute, but it was Mainz 05 who went into the break leading 2-1 at the Allianz Areana after Daniel Brosinski’s goal for the visitors. Six minutes after the restart, Nigerian defender Leon Balogun was introduced for his second appearance of the year 2017 in the Bundesliga, and he showed no sign of rustiness despite his inaction for a while. Balogun replaced goal scorer Daniel Brosinski and immediately had an effect on the game for his team, defending really well against the likes of Arjen Robben and Thomas Muller despite playing as a left back as opposed to his favourite role as a central defender. Bayern however drew level through Thiago Alcantara but the Nigerian can be proud of his performance against the Bavarians considering his lack of games off late. Overall the victory helped Mainz 05 move a step closer to their aim of beating the drop as they moved up to 13th on the log, although one points separate them from 16th placed Augsburg, who are occupying the last relegation spot. **Daniel Martins Source: http://owngoalnigeria.com/2017/04/22/13458/ 1 Like |
