Your comment was very ambiguous and could go either ways.... on one hand it is mocking the drills talk .. but on another, it is actually taking a swipe at Nacho's situation.... tbaba1234: |

TheSuperNerd:You ain't Kelechi's only fan bro. Everybody wants the best for him. He is Nigerian and we all want to see him play and dazzle week in week out. The digs thrown here are not to him but to the idea/philosophy that training thrumps real match time. No one I repeat no one is happy seeing Nacho sitting on the bench or not even making the match day squad. 4 Likes |

Who says I am his only fan? And if you guys aren't happy about it then there are ways to go about it other than throwing digs that also indirectly reeks of mockery of his situation at City. Everyone wants the best for him indeed.... if you were in Nacho's shoes, I am sure you won't find the digs very welcoming. AIG07: |

Arsenal, Spurs Linked Nigerian Teenage Sensation Nominated For Blackpool Goal Of The Season One of the five goals scored by Nigerian-born winger Bright Osayi-Samuel has been nominated for Blackpool's Goal of the Season award. Osayi-Samuel's effort against Newport in the fifth minute of stoppage time in which he chased his own through ball and fired beyond the goalkeeper is in the running for the award. The 19-year-old will have to see off competition from Cullen, Daniel, Potts, Vassell and Gnanduillet to win the accolade. The winner will be announced at the club’s End Of Season Awards on Sunday 7 May. Osayi-Samuel has been linked with moves to Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, Everton and Aston Villa in the summer transfer market. **Igho Kingsley Source: http://allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=22860 1 Like |

AIG07:I am not disputing that fact. But Enyeama cannot play forever, he has gone, he use him leg waka. We NEED to move on. The only reason anyone is discussing Enyeama now is because Carl is injured, if not, we no for notice anything |

With Gabriel Jesus back, Iheanacho didn't make match day squad again. The most annoying thing this days is dat if u read man city team news nd analysis this days, Analyst seems to av forgotten that Iheanacho is a member of d team. Pep Guardiola, abeg if Iheanacho isn't passing ur "drills", kindly sell him to a team where he can play regularly. No offence taken pls |

TheSuperNerd:no be only you no like the digs, butthwy must be said Me sef, it pains me to see the digs, but if I were in Kelechi's shoes and I saw these digs, do you know what I would do? I would call up my agent and tell him I want to leave. That is the purpose of the digs, let him be pissed off, let him feel sad and angry enough to want to get out of that limbo he has found himself. If all the nice talk achieved nothing, then by all means, sling mud at him until he gets his head in the phucking game and realises the only way to stay relevant in football is to stay on the pitch In fact, let Rohr call up Onyekuru for the France camp, throw Kelechi in the reserve team and le him know that he will only get his place back when he starts kicking balls in actual games cuz right now, he's no better than people who play football on PES 3 Likes |

I predicted Gabby Jesus' imminent return before today. I also dropped a video clip of their training showing How good Jesus looked in training before the arsenal fa cup game sef.... This is why I was kinda happy City lost out to Arsenal because I knew pep will rather have a 90% fit Jesus on the bench rather than a 120% fit Nacho. Nacho is going thru one hell of a time in his young career right now and it is not for lack of talent or poor form but just one silly manager's preference... it is sad and unfortunate and hopefully the summer brings something good for Nacho. So for now.... we wait till summer.... and show the lad that he has our support and not using his situation like some are doing to form the latest digs and jokes... CODMOK: 1 Like |

Loolll... Kelechi that said he has chosen not to give much attention to the negative remarks "back home"..... That lad is mentally tough I tell you.... the digs here are not healthy in anyway.... so saying the purpose of it is for him to leave City is not entirely true. Some just don't rate Man City.... that is factual. No one here can wants the best for Nacho more than Nacho himself..... so let us be courteous in our remarks about his situation. And as for Telling Rohr what to do about Kelechi.... sorry.... Rohr will never do what you ask... and Onyekuru is never and cannot be Kelechi's replacement... Onyekuru is a winger/wing forward.... not an AMF, not a CF... plus Rohr has found in Kelechi a lethal weapon Nigeria will always need. Rohr is not reactionary like most of you guys here are.... throwing a key player to the dust just because of one rough period. Nooooo... Rohr is different .... he will rather choose to help build the confidence of Kelechi and show him he is very vital to the Eagles.... Kelechi needs support... not backlash or rather lashings. He is young and has a bright future in the game. We must know how to treat our young ones when they go thru a rough patch. safarigirl: |

TheSuperNerd:wanting what is best for one's self, is different from knowing what is best for one's self. He most likely does not know what is best for him, and if you call yourself his fan, you would acknowledge that he is currently walking the wrong path with City. Rather than vilify people, leave them to deal with his rough patch as they please. If e never pain you reach to dey insult am, e don pain others reach like that 1 Like |

If others resort to digs and insults to show their displeasure then it shows how immature they are.... And He certainly knows what he wants..... he won't make decisions based on people's reactionary outcry... people who don't even know the hidden details of what he is facing up there at the Etihad. And saying that he is walking the wrong path is wrong. He didn't put himself on the bench.... he never lost form... he didnt have a super bad game. Pep just don't rate the kid.... and the least Iheanacho can do is to make the most of the situation by continuing to train and glean from City's top class training routines and also keep pushing himself in training even though the coach will almost never look his way. Even when the coach did on the very few occasions, Nacho even scored and still got sent back to the Training ground to keep drilling. Summer is coming... he can't leave now... let summer come.... You don't expect Nacho to go fight the board or say nasty things about the coach.... he is to be strategic in these situations and not reactionary like most of you here want him to be.... For now... he is to make the best of the situation and not carry a defeated mindset or Victim mentality. He is young yet he understands this.... so don't think he doesn't know what is best for him. safarigirl: |

Joseph? it was me you quoted naa.... Anyway.... let's see what happens. Concerning Enyeama I was particular about his injury plus his "yet-to-be-decided" return to the Super Eagles.... His injury isn't as bad like you said but fitness concerns will remain as there wont be games after he recovers (unless he is called up to the france camp which leads to my next point....) ...and most especially this hanging matter of whether he returns or not.... TheSuperNerd:let us all pretend people just started throwing digs from the first day it was noticed Pep was done with Kelechi, let us all pretend that these same people never called for him to consider a January move. No, they just woke up on the 26th of April 2017 and decided to be immature. Anyway, like I said, let me wait till summer. If Kelechi is still in a City jersey by then, I'll pull out my diapers and play the immature game better than anyone else 1 Like |

As long they used unhealthy digs and insults before even today.... then they have always been immature Or you haven't seen me also speak against the unhealthy digs before abi? you wanna pretend you didn't see it abi? Kwantinu And about the summer... I have always been the one saying let us wait till summer.... but una no wan hear.... just calm down and watch what the summer brings. And if you choose to display worst "immaturity"... abeg... that one na you oooo.... Nacho still won't give a damn.... looollll So plsss all I am saying is free Nacho and let us see what the summer brings... it is not far off now is it? #Patience Mehn... patience ...... between now and then, let him keep working and making the best of the situation... I have learnt in this life that people who don't rate you and don't want to rate you just don't rate you.... even when we prove them wrong. So biko... let summer come. Then if Nacho stays knowing that Pep still won't use him, then you guys can bring out your bombs and guns.... no wahala... while I take the back seat... But until then, hold your fire.... safarigirl: |

And when people speak on watsed talents and the name Nacho comes up, you will be there of course.... right? You actually envision such reality?? *smh* Being pained about something doesn't mean I must yarn rubbish about Nacho or make fun of his situation. He is our own.... and the purpose of this thread is to post news and discussions and talk positives about our rising new generation in the super Eagles.... and Nacho is one of our key youngsters... So you don't expect me to go against the codes of this thread as The primary purpose of it is still not lost on me.... Remember I contributed to the name of this thread so maybe that is why I will never resort to unhealthy digs and insults when it concerns our players who are the key actors in Nigeria's possible rise of her next golden age.... Or maybe I won't insult his situation or poke fun at it becos it is just not in my nature to do so.... I understand that conditions are only temporary.... so let summer come.... and hopefully the best decision is made by him and his camp.... safarigirl: |

Kelechi is mostly talked about not because he is more loved...... it goes beyond the love. Iwobi too is loved by all.... in fact, we have more arsenal fans on this thread than Man city fans... so Iwobi hardly faces criticism here.... that is the truth. But Nacho... he is mostly talked about for many reasons and one of it is because Some just want to show that in Man city, Nacho is in the wrong club just because they don't fancy Man city.... and that drills and training adds nothing Much to a player forgetting that Ighalo deteriorated with playing time and that Rohr still gave him invites during his trying times yet he failed to deliver for us. If Nacho was at Arsenal.... we won't be hearing this outcry. I believe in being distinct in matters as sensitive as this. Do I want nacho out of Man City? Hell yeah.... ofcos I do want him out... Does Nacho not playing make City a bad club? Hell No! Is Pep an ass for leaving nacho on the drilling/training ground and even saying Nacho actually works hard in training and making some good progress and yet still not include him in matchday squads?? Yes he is... he is an ass. Is pep a bad coach? Nope... he is one of the best but as a manger of men he is poor and has a lot to learn. What should Nacho do now that Pep hasn't always rated him? Just focus on training and keep giving your best... make the most of the situation at least until Summer arrives... These are my stands... I am being distinctive and not muddling it all up.... This is what I expect we as Analysts of the game to do.... be objective and fair in comments. maidaboi: |

She said it is right for others to use unhealthy digs and insults to show displeasure of a situation... and I call that immaturity on that count... what is wrong in saying it as it is? I even joked about her "worst immaturity" threat in case nacho remains at City... we definitely said that tongue-in-cheek.... or you didn't see "looollll "? Anyway, I told you all to leave this nacho issue alone... but most choose not to listen... because poking jokes at his situation is just fun isnt it? jamel9: |
