Oga Gazzuzz, The check engine light started blinking today and my car won't accelerate very well. What could be the cause sir and probable solution. It's a 2008 Accord. |
Re: Maintenance Tips For Honda Cars by GAZZUZZ(m): 7:23pm On Apr 27, 2017 |
bigsecsyde: Blinking signal is a misfire in 1 or more cylinders. Check spark plugs, coils, injectors, fuel pressure. In more sever cases check cylinder compression |

Hi guys, I'm having problems with my Honda accord. I it's an automatic. t drives fine but once I'm in traffic or on a standstill for 10mins and I move, it becomes hard for the car to change gear from 2 to 1. Sometimes, it goes into a false neutral. I have to turn off the engine and start it again before it engages into gear. And when it engages, it's like it forces into gear. I've had the gear mechanic check it out, he changed the filter and fibre. Still, no solution. I've also changed the pressure switches and the solenoids, changed the gear oil with Honda recommended atf and filter outside Still no solution It drives fine, changes all gears normally but once I'm at a stand still, and I try to slow down, it is hard for the gear to change from gear 2 to 1. Please help me, I've exhausted all possible solutions I know. The problem is only from gear 2 to 1 when I've been in traffic for a while. Otherwise, it drives fine. Abeg |

Guys I have a question please. I know quite a few about faulty o2 sensors and running rich/lean and terrible mileage. But is there a correlation between faulty o2 sensors and sluggish acceleration? Especially between 1000-2500rpm? |

nawtyqutekushj: The stiffness and leakage is from the steering rack, it is better replaced as any repair is just to postpone judgement day , it will surely come. |
