I don't know how you will get this kind of jobs here. It's better you search it in the internet what/how to get a job for foreigners and what kind of certificate you needed. I don't have much informations on this, so it's better I don't guess about it.

The salaries for the kind of jobs you stated are between 3000-20000 Birr(135-1000$) for degrees and masters(it may also be higher at some places). You can live a normal life with those salaries, if you are single and the money is higher than 5000 Birr(228$).

Since you can speak English, you will not going to have that much problems. Most people in the cities can speak English(even though most of their English is broken). I think you have much better chance to be an English teacher. There are many institutions who gave English lessons. Through time, you may decide to learn the native languages(Amharic language is advisable), if you want to communicate more with the locals.

The most clean cities I would recommend are Bahire Dare(means sea edge), Hawasa(Awasa) and their are some. But they infrastructures are less than Addis, but they are relatively clean and have beautiful sights.

The climate is very good, especially on the highland parts of the country(north and central Ethiopia). Addis Ababa in 2400 meters above sea level(Addis in on a mountain). We have 4 seasons. One fact I want you to know is that 70% of Africa mountains are found in Ethiopia. That is why it's called roof of Africa.

There are 2 very different standards of living in Ethiopia. One is, if you have money, you can live a great life. All those things you mentioned can be found, especially in Addis and other few cities.
Second, if you have no money, you life will be the definition of "there is also life like this in the 21 century". You will see a very beautiful house and when you turn you will see many disgusting houses and places. So if you intended to come here, I advice you either you must have money or you have secured a nice job if you want a good life.

If you are black, I think you will not be disturbed much by the locals and strangers on the road. If you are white, some(especially begging children) will begg you for money and some might shouted saying "ferengi(means white foreigner)" at you, but other than that there isn't much problems. As far us the permit concerned, you will not be disturbed as long as you are on the right track. They are professionals and it will all be alright.

Our women are beautiful, but some of them in Addis and other cities are westernized in a bad way. They are out of their cultures and it's not good. I don't know about other parts of the country, but in Addis there are about 150,000 prostitutes. At night especially on Bola(it's a town) and piazza(piassa), you will see them in a large number. But one thing I want you to know about their beautiful is not like it's exaggerated on the internet. Yes, some of them are definitely beautiful outside and inside , but I don't see that much differences between them and other African women.

Bahire Dare is a beautiful city. It's the capital city of the Amhara region. It's a place where Tana lake(it's a lake where 80% of the water of Nile river(longest river in the world)originate) and Tise Abbay fafuate(blue Nile waterfall) is found. There are also many historical Churches and Monasteries on different small islands on lake Tana. Some Emperors even were buried on those islands. Compare to Addis, the city is clean. There are basic and more than basic infrastructures, but not like Addis. But it's totally a fine, peace and beautiful city. Addis is also a fine city, especially Bola town, SMC town and some other towns. It's more a subjective preference.

Establishing business concerned, if you are serious I think you can succeed(but you may also not succeed). The government is giving much priorities to investors(citizens and foreigners), but I don't have much information how much the permit cost. It's better you search it on the internet or ask someone who knows about it. Hope you succeed and bring prosperity to yourself and my country!

My love and respect for other Africans have grown. We may all diverse, speak different languages, belong to different countries, but we all have went to great difficulties and above all, we are all black on the outside and inside. We are all one from North to South and from East to West. We are all brother and sister to each other. I believe countries and ethnicity are for the most part a human constructing things. There is African identity with all of us, but it's not that much. I believe when the African Union become a single political state, a greater African identity will flourish with it. Let's hope our future children will live a prosper life under the flag of the United State of Africa or Africa Unions state without racism and discrimination within each other, and other bad things.

Yes, almost everything is related to ethnic/tribe here. There is about 80 ethnic groups and racism, discrimination is common, especially among the youngs and online. Their is high level of racism, for example between Amhara vs Tigray, Amhara vs Oromo, Amhara+Tigray vs Gurage, Habesha(Amhara, Tigray, Gurage and Harari) vs Oromo, North vs South, whole Ethiopia vs Somali ethnic, light skin vs dark skin and so on..... All those rivalries have historical events. Read about it online. It's very interesting. I may post about the origin of Amhara and Tigray and other ethnicities tomorrow.

Bro, Ethiopia is a very beautiful and unique place. When I say beautiful and unique, I'm not referring to Addis Ababa(it's a dirty city and most of the people mind is westernized in a bad way), but outside of Addis(the rural part and some cities). If I had the chance, I would have left this city life for the countrysides, but too bad I've no intention to live anymore.

It varies from hospital to hospital and from your certificate to certificate. If you are just a normal doctor, your salary/wage could be on average from 20,000-50,000 Birr(909-2,273$). If you are a specialist doctor, your salary/wage could be higher than the above stated(but also on some places, it could be within the same ranges of the above stated). Some hospitals normally pay you. Some pay you on the number of hours you worked or the number of patients you seen. Others, for example, if you are a surgeon, they could pay you based on the number of surgery you did.

The kind of countries to avoid as am immigrant are:
1. The one you that makes communication difficult because of language difference. How do you find job?

2. The one that poise security risk to your life. You need to know the number of terrorist related deaths in Turkey. The statistics is alarming. Living without accident in Turkey is by luck.

3. The one that discriminates against skin color. These varies from country to country

4. The one that follows religious law. Guess you wanna be free rather than be held to account under different faith.
