I think we should break up! The tribalism and nepotism is too much, we cannot progress with this mindset of our tribesmen first before any other. After all they say that a good fence ensures good neighbors 27 Likes 2 Shares |

Let me put it this way. Lord Lugard should be dug up whereever the British nincompoop was buried and his skeleton hanged 103 times for the 103 years since he created the monumental disaster called "Nigeria" 9 Likes 2 Shares |

Let's go separately, live as a good and formidable neighbor. The way at present and in the past we used to share the pot of soup is not acceptable. We are not equal and not ready to make necessary adjustments. 2 Likes |

Re: R by deedeedee1: 9:54am On Apr 30, 2017 |
Let it break. We do not share a common language and culture. The british created nigeria not we. |
Re: R by deedeedee1: 9:56am On Apr 30, 2017 |
juman:there is strength in togetherness when you share something in common. Not in a country with 300 ethic groups!!! |

Re: R by juman(m): 10:14am On Apr 30, 2017 |
deedeedee1: The only problem we have is senseless leaders. Military generals pushed the country to this very bad state. If we have determined president the country can weather the storm and be a great country. |
Re: R by KingGBsky(m): 10:34am On Apr 30, 2017 |
juman: Togetherness as a people and not togetherness as a separated people. |
Re: R by juman(m): 10:45am On Apr 30, 2017 |
KingGBsky: You are right. Thats why people said nigeria is just a country but not a nation. |
Re: R by SIRmanjar(m): 10:53am On Apr 30, 2017 |
We need to stay together and drink from the milk bowl of unity and eat the bread of harmony let's make Nigeria great..Our land flows with honey ad sugar from the LOWER NiGER so we must ensure we live as one by all means..Tho our tongue, religion ad shape of heads may differ let's be patrotic and live as one. |

the evils/challenges that exist among various tribes in Nigeria today also exist internally amongst the tribes of similar history. those who vehemently push for a breakup are those who feel they stand to gain personally from a breakup because they feel that they are properly positioned to reap the benefits from such a breakup. that being said, there is a need to reorganise the current economic & political structure in such a way that no state/region's growth is stymied by another. either way, tough choices have to be made sooner rather than later. |
