NSE is always like this. Some loose while some gain, Apart from Nigeria leadership problem, Most stocks are good for long time investment, as I was announcing before 2015 election, about the great bear visiting the market that makes a lot of people in this forum who didn't listen to me loss millions of naira. The same way now am trying to introduce some good stocks that will soon turn many people to millionaires and billionaires. |

Chibuking81: Softly, softly bro. Though some of the stocks you mentioned are good, there is no guarantee that they will turn people into millionaire o. People can as well loose their shirts on those stocks. It is all a game of probability! 2 Likes |

Someone in this forum got it right, when he narrated about the behavior of some NSEM participants. According to him, he said that those who loses hundred of thousand stay away from stock market for two weeks and return back, and those who loses millions stay away for ever. I was almost quitting the market after losing some portion of my money in some stocks, but the night before the day am to pull out all my resources away from market, I decided to do over night research, and with the result of my research I channel all the resources into one stock for the last time, within 48 hours I recoverd all what I loss previously and I still make over 20 percent gain. Since that day till today, I always gain because I usually carried out over night research on two to three companies before buying. 5 Likes 1 Share |

pluto09:I agree with you, that's why I mentioned our country leadership problem. But all things been equal, most of the stock will take the remainant traders and investors to a higher level. If you are stock trader, remember not to be greedy in taking your profit, also cut your losses on time, and look for another good stock to join. 2 Likes |

I don't understand why some people will come to this forum and blame others for their inept and poor decision making on their investments. Whether technical, fundamental or "sentimental" analysis, any investor that wants to cut his losses still and MUST carry out personal due diligence!.This point cannot be over emphasized and all NEWBIES must take note! Generally, stock investing is highly volatile (risky). Both new entrants and experienced traders still suffer shortfall or absolute losses on their investments. However, the difference between them is that an experienced trader has mastered his emotions to the extent he knows when to quickly pull out. I have come to understand that the reason for this money loss is because of the difficulty in timing Mr. Market. Gurus and financial expert have attempted to do this by using complex financial techniques but to no avail. Honestly, if this process can be known entry and exit of stocks will become easier. Since nobody can time Mr market, threading softly and discounting people's opinion, advice or recommendations on this forum or else where is key. Including brokers and analysts' advice...To borrow bullbearmkt's word; Always Plan your trade and Trade your plan. Lastly, as requested before any member giving opinion should endeavour to put disclaimer as this will prevent anyone from being misled. My take. 3 Likes 1 Share |

SBGO4, respect is reciprocal. Please, keep quiet and stop discouraging people who try to make this forum ROBUST. I have been following his analysis and they are top notch. He is a TA guru and specifically tells us what the chart is saying. I would appreciate it if you, as an FA guru, can balance the analysis by taking up the FA analysis. Nobody can always predict the market correctly. What is important is that your winning positions are more than your losing positions. Also, be disciplined enough to apply stop loss on time. You are the master of your portfolio- someone who wants to make millions should at least make effort to learn the trade. Do your due diligence and act when convinced about taking a position. Finally, just as Bullbear mentioned, ask questions when in doubt, or tell us why you disagree with a particular stock pick. This is meant to be a discussion forum. He can also learn from your arguments. SBG04: 7 Likes 1 Share |

I'll just ignore all post relating to that person. He jumps from page to page attacking me and playing "always right". Everyone has the freedom to post at his\her discretion. How can someone quote me and call me "generally insincere"? From where? Because I chipped in on what a newbie said? Utter rubbish. |

@Pluto09, You might want to look at FBNH's result over a few qtrs and factor in the ff: 1) Impact of devaluation on existing NPL as at May 2016(before devaluation) 2). Increasing Non-intrest income 3). FI Investment from 2016 vs stagnant/reducing loan formation in $ amount. (In $ terms no new NPL is being created from 2016) 4). Change in Mgt team/ Risk mgt team. Note: I still expect some pullback( not more than 10% from current levels) Caveat before I suffer same fate as BullbearMrk. The above is post is directed at Pluto09 |

SBG04:. Guy, it does not take long to recognize sunshine, He understands TA and decided to encourage people to use it more in trading especially if you are a short term trader, BullBearMkt has organised webinar on using TA, i suggest you look for it listen to it, you might learn one or two things. Personally, i know if NSE Is gonna part of the best Capital Markets in the nearest future, then its TA. We should be careful about what we post cos of newbies amongst us. Shout out to @fxuser e.t.c that are also pushing TA. TA is the future, dont fight it, get in line and learn it. 2 Likes |
