Lai Mohammed Urges TB Joshua To Remain In Nigeria by Makweembo: 8:02pm On May 02, 2017
Alhaji Lai Mohammed, Minister of Information and Culture, has urged Prophet TB Joshua of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN) not to relocate from the country as he urged the renowned prophet to come for dialogue with the government in a means of finding lasting solutions to the various challenges the Church is experiencing in recent times.

The Minister made this assertion while fielding questions from the media during his attendance at the NATOP AGM for 2017 held at the Renaissance Hotel Ikeja Lagos by Marriott today.

Nigerian Prophet T.B. Joshua declared his intention to leave Nigeria and relocate his ministry to the nation of Israel. Going by a write up from dailypost.ng, an online news platform, T.B. Joshua was speaking at his church service on Sunday 30th April 2017.

Joshua disclosed that he had just returned from the ‘Holy Land’ after holding meetings with three prominent Israeli mayors of Jerusalem, Tiberias and the Jordan Valley. TB Joshua said Israel offered him both land and facilities in an area around the biblical site of the Sea of Galilee for the Nigerian Pastor to organize meetings for international pilgrims.

“This is where my Father in Heaven came from – it’s non-negotiable,” Joshua explained, adding it was not a decision he undertook lightly. “It’s the best place for you to meet Prophet T.B. Joshua. After your healing, blessing and deliverance, you can move around all the spiritual monuments which will establish your faith,” he clarified.

Joshua said his decision to leave was not connected to the “persecution” he endured during his ministry. TB Joshua said the move would help people to “appreciate” what his ministry had been contributing to both the local economy and Nigeria’s international image.

“This is the most persecuted ministry in the world. Who are the people persecuting the ministry? My people, Africa. “That is why I choose to live a lonely life. If you want to see me, come to this church.

“Your life can preach a better sermon than your mouth,” he exhorted the congregation, stating that the Israeli officials had observed his ministry from afar before inviting him

Prophet TB Joshua SCOAN, over the years has remained the biggest tourism attraction in Nigeria. And while several tourism experts have urged the Nigerian Government to certain waivers and several incentives to protect the Church and encourage tourists to continue to thrive in bringing more foreigners into the country.

The Nigerian Association of Tour Operators (NATOP) AGM for this year focused on the theme of “Positioning Tourism within the Nigerian Economic Space with Senator Liyel Imoke as the Keynote Speaker.

Liyel Imoke spoke on The Building Blocks of Tourism Products and held the audience spell bound with in-depth understanding of what needs to Make Nigerian Tourism successful as he gave revealing insights and accounts on how he was able to lift the Carnival Calabar from a young carnival into an Africa’s biggest Street Party.

Mr. Folorunsho Folarin-Coker, DG NTDC;Otunba Segun Runsewe DG, NTDC were also at the event as well as Mr. Gabe Onah, Chairman of Carnival Calabar Commission with Mr. Ikechi Uko, organizer of Akwaaba African Travel Market; Mrs. Fatima Garbathi, former President of NATOP, and Nkereuwem Onung, President of NATOP; Mr. Bernard Bankole, National President, National Association of Nigerian Agencies (NANTA) among several other dignitaries.

The oyinbo men have done their research and have seen the level of foreign exchange the man brings into the Nigerian economy, they have given the man free land and other facilities not because they like him but for what he can bring to their economy

If he leaves businesses in alimosho area will suffer, banks, hotels, eateries etc

Nigerian Government steady persecuting her own. Meanwhile the Israeli government have long been trying to lure TB Joshua there. Sometime last year, they offered him a business proposal but he rejected.

He will rake in so much money on tourism for israel. Let him go so Nigeria can learn to appreciate their own

these points of yours are not the reason he is relocating to Israel. The persecution is mainly from the Christian fold. The Same reason Pastor Chris Oyakhilome relocated to South Africa.

Truly a prophet is not known at home. Methink Pastor Chris has technically relocated to South Africa.
Shame on our leaders and their hating haters.

Re-channel this effort into convincing the hordes of factories and businesses that are packing up and living Nigeria on a daily basis and stop trying to make a man who has set his mind on moving to the 'holy land'. If we are not lazy,we can develope other ways of attracting tourists into Nigeria-that's apart from "religious tourism" which to me is a huge scam. I hope this story is not true though.

Only his accurate prophesies are enough for any sane country to accommodate his ministry.

lalasticlala.

and the Muslim have been benefiting from this foreign revenue and yet they are using Fulani herdsman to persecute the Christians. the truth still remains that if we leave these Muslim to themselves. poverty will just kill them all. they are not contributing anything to Nigeria economy other then depleting our national budget with Islamic jihads boko haram. our hard earned revenue. all foreign remittances are from southerners. go to the bank and confirmed and yet they want to rule at all cost.

they banned alcohol and yet they shared from alcohol tax from South.

if you meet the aboki man that deal on foreign currency he will admit the truth that southerners are their marketers. this guys will not want Nigeria to divide because their businesses will collapsed. all other mallams and illiterate and uneducated.

TB Joshua decision is wise. The decision is based on the principle that a prophet is not honored at home. God's own country and people needs him his presence now. We will find our way to JERUSALEM!

TB Joshua always move when directed by the spirit of God.
He is on a missionary journey to create SCOAN in the holy land. I believe it is the best place to have such a great church for Christ.

TB Joshua is the only reason a foreigner in South Africa will smile at Nigeria. I saw that first hand.

Take TB Joshua to South Africa and Xenophobia will disappear. I am amazed by his popularity and the yearnings of foreigners for SCOAN.

Emmanuel TShirt, wrist band etc I never saw around in Nigeria, I saw abroad on ordinary citizens.

For once Lai applied sense.

When TB Jo leaves Nigeria, tell me which investor will come.

Check out majority of the longstanding Christian televisions, all cited in South Africa. From Loveworld tv (Oyakhilome) to Emmanuel tv (T.B Joshua).

A former president of this country unilaterally banned all religious televisions. South Africa embraced and welcomed them over 20 years ago. Today, we are still far from attaining the level of development SA has attained.

We keep blaming our collective idioc.y on religion, whilst living in phantom 'foolery'.
