Ndidi left Genk during winter break in a transfer window and the move was approved by the club.

MFM was not even aware of Odey's plan to go to Denmark. These are not comparable things.

If i am not an advocate for the progress of Nigerian football, I will not come to this thread daily. Instead of talking/debating issues, you decided that it was my intentions as if i benefit anything from any player.

If u knew MFM didn't know where Odey was, why did u try to absolve the agent of the blame? U know that if the agent is not to blame then it must be the player. U can act like u are doing a good service but i can see thru that one easily.
Forget the details of Ndidi's move the point is that we are in the NPFL transfer break right now.

Honestly i want to ask why u have a problem with the progress of Nigerian based players? Is it that u don't see them as humans? U went as far as posting wat some goof had to say, like that is pure hate if u ask me.

I identified earlier some of the problems and I talked about greedy agents wanting to cash in on players and not necessarily looking for the best deals for them.

See, the thing is simple. This move is unprofessional especially without club permission.

However, I understand the rush to go abroad and start making money but these players need to be better adviced.

I have no reason to hate anyone.

Timi spoke the truth but he needs to pick his words wisely. Not professional. Thanks SafariGirl.

And may I add what did he mean by inferior country? Lol. Denmark, inferior country Maybe he meant to say inferior league

tbaba1234:

I am saying that they pick up news from each other and why will ANS be discussing mad men?

Also, Onyekuru did not go on trial with Celtic while still with Eupen. He expressed his displeasure at the club and refused to play. Even then, many people on this thread condemned his action.

If there was a deal at all, he would not be going on trial mid-season.

Whoever Odey signs for, does not affect me in the least. Our best league players are going to obscure leagues and a person who highlights this abnormality is the enemy. continue..

Rohr Eyes Behind The Striker Role For Akwa United Star Alhassan Ibrahim Against Corsica

Akwa United forward Alhassan Ibrahim popularly called Mu’azam will most likely play behind the main striker if he gets to play in the Super Eagles friendly game against Corsica.

Rohr made it known to one of his assistants, that the forward is best suited as a pseudo striker judging by what he has seen of him in games of the Nigeria Professional Football League.

Mu’azam who has taken the league by storm this season, is also in contention for the role as Rohr will be without the services of injured captain John Obi Mikel and Alex Iwobi who played in the role for the Eagles in their last friendly game.

The forward will most likely play behind Kelechi Iheanacho, a role he is used to during their days with the Nigeria U-17 team of 2013, before he was later dropped after falling short of the compulsory MRI test.

Heavily tipped with a move abroad, Mu’azam however told Owngoalnigeria.com that he is yet to be contacted by any team outside Nigeria.

” No club has approached me yet. For now my focus is on my team Akwa United, doing well for Akwa United will open the doors for offers to come in for me. I owe the club fans, coaches and management crew a big debt, which is helping them to a top three finish. Insha Allah I will deliver “, he told Owngoalnigeria.com.

@tbaba,

One thing I have observed about our society is that people find it difficult to believe one can point out negatives, areas of improvement, or be critical about quality in any way without "hate". You register your dissatisfaction about anything (players, government, anything at all) and you are called names. You know your own motives and people who read your posts can also make up their own minds. No need to sweat to defend your position!

Rohr Receives Good News On Mikel, Ex-Chelsea Ace Resumes Training Next Week

Super Eagles skipper John Obi is expected to resume training at Tianjin Teda in the next one week, according to an official statement by the Chinese Super League club.

The former Chelsea midfielder went under the knife in London on Saturday and the two operations were successful.

''In mid-March this year, the team went to Shanghai training for preparation activities before Mikel got injured, the club and the team attaches great importance to thoroughly check the cause of injury.

''The first time (April 24), the club decided to send Mikel to Britain for diagnosis and treatment.

''On the 26th, the doctor diagnosed an inguinal hernia and adductor muscle injury, and two operations were successfully completed on 29 April, and he is expected to resume training after one week.''

This news that Mikel is on the road to recovery will be sweet music to the ears of Gernot Rohr, as the Nigeria manager is expected to call him up for the African Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa.

The problem is not only agents. Our NPFL players are simply not getting good offers.

Is it not agents that negotiate good deals for academy players?

TBH I am not happy with Stephen Odey but i can understand the rush a bit. These are my reason why he should go.

1. Money- The boy comes from a poor background and this can enable him take care of his family. We all know the economy is bad and that might have pushed him into getting out.

2. Health- Stephen is a marked man in the NPFL.

3. Sporting reasons- Like i said he is a marked man and staying would be a gamble. He could go on to break the goal record and he could also finish at 14.

I can live with a simplistic label that doesn't bother me one bit but let ur stance be known. Don't straddle the fence. U said Odey was unprofessional and knowing his agent is responsible for that how can u say this case is different? Or are u saying Odey got up by himself and hopped on a plane? If not then u have to admit that the agent was at fault simple as that.

Chelsea Open Talks With Nigerian Goal Machine Over New Deal

England U21 international of Nigerian descent Tammy Abraham is in talks with Chelsea over a new deal.

ESPN claims the Blues are ready to hand the tall striker a new contract as reward for his goal-scoring form out on loan with Bristol City.

Tammy Abraham is currently contracted to Chelsea until the end of the 2018-2019 season.

He joined Chelsea at U8 level and progressed through the youth ranks before making his first team debut against Liverpool in May 2016.

Abraham, 19, is a summer transfer target for Premier League sides Everton, Leicester City and Brighton & Hove Albion.
