Early missionaries who brought Christianity to Igboland said that the religion they met on ground in igboland was Judaism

And you believe them?!
I asked a question not too long ago, in my previous post. . . . . . In every race and among every people, history is passed down to younger generations in the form of oral storytelling or writings.
Why isn't there any written account of our journey from "Israel" or point of take off, to our present abode?
You might say that we did not have any formal means of writing at the time, but that would be a lie. . .
We had Nsibidi which is the actual form of Igbo writing.
History based on the accounts of EUROPEAN missionaries can not be trusted as they clearly knew nothing of the Igboland at the time.
If we claim to be Jews or descendants, how come we have no trace of Aramaic, or ancient Hebrew in our dialect, as is the case with Yiddish,Amharic and other Semitic languages?

It pains me that most Igbos don't know about Igbo religion. Igbos called God Orisa/Olisa until the Aros who were a mix of tribes but adopted Igbo fully took the control of Ubini Ukpabi or long juju. Chi wasn't a short form of Chukwu as Chukwu never existed. The Aros brought Chukwu and it gained acceptance across tribes beyond Igbo heartland. Kalabari called them Suku and we have Ikot-Chukwu among the Ibibio. The Europeans noticed some similarities and the pilgrimage to Ubini Ukpabi which made them deduce a possible Jewish influence but not rightly so.

I support the call for Biafra
I support Ipob
I do support anyone choosing to practice a religion of their choice.
I however do not agree that Igbos are Jews

Good point here, maybe we should start the conversation at this juncture.

Since the europeans know nothing about igboland, their account should be the most trusted as it is most likely to be objective, unlike your account which seek to validate an already decided conclusion while paying blind eye and deaf ears to any evidence

Did you read what you just typed?
Would a Yoruba man tell you about your local dialect?
Or can an Mbaise man tell a man from Obowo how to salute in his own village?
They only stated what seemed similar to what they were already familiar with.

... I used to wonder how my people used to fall for a bait like this. A topic was created to mock and ridicule the igbo nation and alas! Everyone was cut up on the same trap. So sad!

SO, the way yorubas told their story of Oduduwa falling from sky is the best account?? Embrace objective research

Igbos are not jews pls, enough of this rubbish!
Yes, Africans only have oral history and certain facts can be lost.
Every ethnic group in Nigeria have DIVERSE ORIGINS, No ethnic group is homogenous in origin.
So if you want to study Igbo history, study it by reading its sub-tribes(eg Ngwa, Ndoki, Nnewi, Asa, Onitsha, Mbaise, Aguleri, Egbema etc) histories. Tnx
Don't say all Africans history was only oral. We Ethiopians have our own alphabet and Our history was also written on texts. There were also civilizations like Ancient Egypt and Nubia/Meroe.

Sorry, I am very well enlightened on issues pertaining to Europeans and how they intentionally miseducate Africans and rewrite history.
I refuse to be a tool. I will let reason prevail in this argument.
I just stated that we had Nsibidi a well grounded form of alphanumerics and inscriptions. So why wasn't any account of our Jewish root given?
If you could look at the posts above mine. . . An Ethiopian here just stated how they have well documented historical journals, written in their local language which i presume to be Amharic.

Igbos are not Jews neither are we from Judea, people who came from such a far away place to our present location should be able to keep record.
It takes the coming of this man (James Africanus Horton)for us to realise we are Jews.SHM.

The religion of the Egboes is Judaism, intermixed with numerous pagan rites and ceremonies. They believe in the existence of one Almighty, Omnipotent, Omnipresent Being, whom they worship as such, and regard as the Omniscient God who concerns himself with with the affairs of man. He is known by the name of Chuku, contracted sometimes into Chi.
.
They also admit the existence of another God, or a superior being, who, in one part of the country, is called Orissa, and in another Chuku-Okeke, or God the Creator, or the Supreme God, thus showing that the nation believes in the division of of the Godhead- in two beings each equal in power and influence, yet differing in the Godhead, but the existence of a third person does not seem to be admitted or known by them.
.
Chuku, the Omniscient God, who is supposed to preserve them from harm, communicates with his people through his priests, who reside in a city set apart as holy by all the nation. This place is called Aro, or Ano, to which pilgrimages are made, not only from all part of Egboe, including the tribes along the Coast-viz., Oru,"

I don't have any problem with the Biafran movement as an Igbo guy I support the movement just as I would support an Odua or Arewa republic, every race has the right to self actualisation, however this whole Jewish thing needs to end. We are Igbos not Jews and if we go down this "jewish igbo" path, then we would be in for some very shocking unpleasant surprise. You need to understand how the Jews reason, people tend to mistake Christianity for Judaism, I can assure you there is NO connection and believe me the Jews HAVE NO LOVE for Christians and pretty much anyone else who isn't a Jew. So please enough is enough, there are millions of Igbos in Nigeria and in the diaspora, we can accomplish WHATEVER we want if we are united and have a common goal, we need unity now and a common purpose NOT some division as a result of someone's newly acquired religion or ideology. 100% christian, 100% igbo THAT'S THE MOVEMENT, NOTHING ELSE COMES BETWEEN THAT. Enough of this Israel / Jewish crap, seemed funny at first but I think its time to drop the charade.

read about how the Israeli Jews treat the Ethiopian Jews aka Beta Israeli. You would be used as cannon fodder to fight the war of the Zionist nation of Israel and that's about it. 100% PROUD IGBO, 100% CHRISTIAN. GOD BLESS THE LAND OF THE RISING SUN

The people that brought Christianity to the Igbo watch as northern Nigeria's Muslims butcher Igbos beginning from shortly after the amalgamation of north and south of Nigeria in 1914 till today.

Because of crude oil found in Igbo land and near it, because those who brought you Christianity want to pay mere tokens for crude oil which they take abroad, those who brought Christianity to the Igbo always ally with northern Muslims for political leadership of Nigeria and deprivation of the Igbos in Nigeria.

Because a northern leader comes far away from where the oil is sourced, they can easily let foreigners pay the token for crude oil, instead of the true value of the oil.

This way, they preserve one Nigeria, even if all in Nigeria are eating from the gutters.

By the way, Judaism is a religion. Anybody can convert to Judaism at will. It is left for the Jewish people to say who is related to the Jews, not half-baked people that write rubbish on NL.
