Indeed, it has already been decreed. If they can't read out, translate and interpret their text, they are finished. I guess i have to thank my pop then for not identifying us with them. Concerning that forty days without meat. What does it really entail? Does it mean that one wouldn't eat anything remotely associated with animals? Like for example a stew/soup cooked with meat/fish?

My Sheikh i was talking about in other thread few yrs ago said something similar. He lost his ruhaniya capacity and wanted to regain. He fasted for 3 months. According to him without meat and nkan alata (stew/soup) as he put it. He said if he wanted to eat rice, he ate it like that (white rice) without any types of soup and off-course with his intention and requesting his ruhaniya back from Allah.

He lost it completely and every connection was disconnected. Just before he finished he heard "salaam alaikum ya abdullah". Then he warned him against his mistake. Wallahi olun tobi loba ooo This thing is beyond average human comprehension.

Note, fast is just like ramadan. Not go on fasting without a break

Also this is the ayah one of crooners quoted to condemn any acts or practices not mentioned in the kitab and sunnah Khaf 103-104. I read tafsir of this before where Aisha(ra) narrated that deeds must be done in accordance with Sunnah. So they conclude that all activities mostly done today are bida bcus of these ayat. The guy just cited the ayah again to buttress his point.

Sheikh Daud Alfa Nla once explained the aya briefly contrary to what this guy said.

He said in continuation- .....they are those who deny the signs of their Lord & his meeting (on the last day), so their efforts got nullified & render useless, therefor their works/efforts would not be weighed on the day of reckoning.

What God said there is the same he has being saying all over the Quran, that the validity of good deeds rest on IMAN & believe in the last day/day of reckoning. Good deeds are only going to be considered by him based of these two conditions, else they remain void & invalid.

He continued in The next vs 106 ....the reward of who ever finds himself in such (unfortunate) state (on the last day) is JAHANAMA, for their disbelieve & for making jest of his signs & messangers.

107-108 cont‘d....(but on the contrary), those who built their good deeds on IMAN shall be hosted in JANNAT FIRDAUS. They shall abide in it forever & they would not desire a change of condition therein (due to contentment & fulfillment of all desires).

Nothing is going to happen....perhaps maybe avoidance of pungent substances like onions, garlic, fish etc cos mostly angels dont like there odor, it causes them discomfort. The 40 days abstinence is just a means to an end. End attained, means gets discarded.

What destroys IMAN is SHIRK. Sins cannot render one faithless according to IJMA (concensus) of JURISTS. Building mosque with stolen funds is unacceptable to God. God accepts only from the pious. Q5:27

Those are the conditions of khalwa (spiritual retreat) which is a necessary excercise in tassawuf but not necessarily to subdue the spiritual beings but to cleanse/purify the ruh to return to its original state as it were before it got infused into the body, in order to attain ma‘rifa. In a regular setting, you‘ll need 4 consequtive 40days (160days) in that condition to acheive that feat...but the spiritual light you‘d have acquired in the first 40, is enough to compel the obedience of the spiritual entities.

I doubt if you can seclude for 40days with those harsh conditions not on your life When you finish look inside mirror, na your ghost you go see
