Yeah, right now, I think we should only pursue Tammy and Tombori; let these other guys sort themselves out. I am not a big believer in disturbing somebody who has declared publicly that he doesn't wanna play for us (Lookman).

Once the Super Eagles start playing well again, these guys would come crawling back to beg us for shirts.....especially, if they don't get a call up by the 3 Lions.

thank God Tammy is not there....
I don't know what pinnick is waiting for ..
he should act fast on that lad...
I believe after the under 20 tourney...
the scales will fall from the eyes of many others like lookman and ejaria

Yea, I know but there's still hope with him. Unlike Lookman, he hasn't expressed any preference that he wants to rep England.
So I am holding out hope that we can cap him after the U-21. But who knows....

TheSuperNerd:
Chelsea Loanee Omeruo Blows Hot – Playing For Chelsea Is No Longer My Priority

On loan Chelsea defender Kenneth Omeruo says playing for Chelsea is no longer his aim, rather going to any team where he is sure of getting games next season is his target in the summer.

Omeruo is yet to make a senior appearance for the Blues since joining in January 2012, with his current loan spell with Alanyaspor of Turkey his fourth in a row in the last three seasons.

Heavily linked with a return to Chelsea in the summer, the 23 year old insist returning to Chelsea is not his priority for now, and won’t mind a permanent transfer from the club despite extending his contract till 2019 in the summer.

“It might happen that I get to play for Chelsea but it is no longer my immediate priority,” Omeruo told BBC Sport.

“You have no idea how frustrating it is to always go out on loan,” added the Nigeria defender.

“Last season I had an opportunity to go to one of Turkey’s biggest clubs [Besiktas] but the deal collapsed two days to the end of the transfer window,” he added.

“My priority is to play at the top, to find a place where I get to play regularly.

“Next season will be interesting because I’m looking to be in one of the top leagues, so we’ll see what happens.”

Tomori...case tight oo.the dude is also eligible for Canada...
I believe Ola Aina success with the SE gonna convince them...I don't blame lookman at all
he plays in a team dominated by 3 lions players
those guys might possibly influence him...just like playing in man united or spurs...
that's why I pray Tammy goes to Leicester... ndidi can help us do the job

I think he's moving to a bigger club in the summer. He was just unlucky with injury during the last Olympics or else he and Ndidi would've been the revelations of this winter transfer window. Any team that snap him up would be happy with that transaction.

And it's funny you'd say this because I made exactly the same remarks regarding the Barca scout team. In fact, I told 'em that they should fire their scout team and hire me because I can definitely do a better job than what they had done over the past few years.

Lol...I pray he goes to Newcastle.. working with an ambitious manager like benitez gonna rub on his game...couple with the fact the Newcastle as team are very aggressive

You see the funny thing about this argument is they argue as if we are against Child education.

I think I have made my points clear on this argument.

U can't claim to be pro education when u have already said some kids are too dull to learn. It was until people started saying the statement was a bad one that u started to backtrack. U guys are trying to make secondary school seem like harvard. Any dummy can make it through secondary school. U don't have to be the guy collecting extra sheets to prove u are in school, u don't even have to read so much in secondary school. I gave u names of world class players with masters degrees. If they can do it why can't our children? I have a daughter and she will have to earn the right to do anything besides school.

Some kids are dull. Dull in the sense that they learn or understand too slowly. That is dullness. It is a recognized English word and can be applied to students.

Conversely, those considered as being 'smart' are those that learn or understand quickly.

The word 'dull' or 'dullness' for slow learning students is not out of place.

A simple visit to your dictionary or google will help.

It would be a great list if since the Algeria match we all went to mars and missed Henry Onyekuru becoming the hottest prospect in Europe.

On the list for France camping

Goalkeepers: Never been impressed by goalkeeping choices, as it shows a lack of willingness to test new players. Ezenwa is not really good and I do not think Alampasu is ready. There are certainly better keepers even within the NPFL.

Defenders: Leon Balogun appears to be back to his best, just in time. Ebuehi and Ola Aina will battle for the right back slot. They are both well schooled. Omeruo will most likely join the team before the SA game.

Midfielders: Mikel Agu has been one of the most consistent players this season. Porto renewed his contract as a result and he will be a part of the team next season. Good to see him in the team. He should easily be replacing John Ogu. Onazi and Mikel will be joining the team before South Africa.

Attackers: Hopefully, the home based players can justify their inclusion. Onyekuru is the big loser here as even his superb form does not get him an invite. He might still be called up later. Sarenren Bazee will get to play for the first time.

Rohr actually said it earlier that it will be mostly for the young and up coming players and those he would want to assess before the main camping against SA.

I like the squad list. But I feel Onyekuru deserves to be part of this.

How will he not be like his father when he is not in class learning? Every child is capable of learning, no one is saying that the kid has to become a book worm but he or she must participate in school just like the others. I am shocked that u even think most the good players must be dull. Also u do not select what type of child u will have. Even Dangote can have a child who is slow in learning, this does not always reflect on the parent.

Also, you do not chose the kind of child you'll have but you, as a parent, can play a major role in developing a child's level of intelligence. That is where a Lion's son becomes also a Lion.

I thought he said the France camping was mostly to test new/young players. There could have been no better time to invite Henry Onyekuru than this.

At least we have seen a lot of Musa why not we see Onyekuru this time instead.

If he cannot test them in a game like this friendly is it in the big games we have ahead.

Well, make I just dey look first .
