Not necessarily. The fasting, seclusion, adherence to certain type of food are just to achieve high level of purification of blood vessels & concentration in the heart to accelerate results. The main thing is the dhikr. Without them one can still purify his ruh with dhikr only but it is going to take more time.

Lol...welcome the to the world of "Islamic spirituality", Ihsan. Welcome to at-tassawuf. When Jibril(as) came to inquire about Iman from nabi(saw) and about ihsan, He asked ‘What is al-Ihsaan?’ Is there something after Imaan?

The Holy Prophet Muhammad ( s.a.w ) replies and says, ‘Ihsaan is:

An tahbudallaha ka annaka tara

That you should worship Allah , Most High,: That you should live for Allah , Most High, as though you are seeing Him


But can we see Allah , Most High,? When Musa ( a.s ), the Prophet Moses ( a.s ), was on the mountain, Mount Sinai, he spoke and he said to Allah , Most High,:



[the 7th Sura, al-Araaf, Verse 143]: Show me Your face, I want to see You (with these eyes)




Allah , Most High, responded and said: Not possible! You can’t see Me! Not with these eyes!


Then what does it mean that, you should worship Allah , Most High,, as though you are seeing Him?


The companions of the Holy Prophet ( s.a.w ) they asked, ‘O Messenger! Will we be able to see Allah , Most High, on the last day, the Last Day?’ He responded and he asked, ‘Do you have any difficulty in seeing the sun when it is mid-day?’ They said, ‘No problem we can see it.’ He asked, ‘Do you have any difficulty in seeing the moon when it is full moon?’ They said, ‘No!’ He said, ‘that’s how you are going to see your Lord on the Last Day.’

Allah , Most High, says, ‘You can’t see Me’ and the Holy Prophet ( s.a.w ) says, ‘you will see Him’?. What is the explanation? Now we can understand that there is no contradiction here. The meaning is, ‘You can’t see Me with these (physical) eyes.’


Do we have any other eyes besides these eyes (physical eyes)? The Holy Qur’aan says, ‘Yes! The heart can see’,

This is where you dont get.

Do we have any other eyes besides these eyes? Do we have any other means of acquiring knowledge other than through external observation?. Some say knowledge is only restricted to text. These are the only eyes that we have?. The Holy Qur’aan says, ‘No!’ and it gives a different epistemology. Sura Hajj where Allah, Most High, addresses the people who are internally dead, spiritually dead.

Verse 46

"Will they not travel through the earth? So that perhaps, perchance, (by traveling through the earth) their dead hearts might come alive"


Now with a heart which has come alive they will be able to understand what the intellect could not! What rationality could not! What external observation could not!


When the heart comes alive, it can hear what otherwise could not be heard

Here is the full verse

"So have they not traveled through the earth and have hearts by which to reason and ears by which to hear? For indeed, it is not eyes that are blinded, but blinded are the hearts which are within the breasts."


See the ayah above ^^ answers your concern. You interpreted "internal eyes" literally. If Quran talks metaphorically, why we can do the same?


Allow me to quote Sheikh Imran perhaps, you might understand that we have not only this eyes, ears but we also have "ears" with which we hear. We have "eyes" with which we see

He quoted this hadith

"You will surely fight the Jews and you will surely kill them (meaning: you will be successful in that fight). At that time the stones will speak. ‘O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me. Come and kill him’"

here is what he said


"When the stones begin to speak, with which ears will we hear? Will this be the first time that the stones speak? No! The stones spoke to the Holy Prophet Muhammad ( s.a.w ) in his lifetime. They offered ‘salaams’ to him. If we were there would we have heard? No! He was not hearing with these ears. It is when the heart has come alive, has faith in it and submits to the Supreme Authority of Allah , Most High, and not the supreme authority of the state, it is then that the heart can hear. ......


Here is the verse again


So have they not traveled through the earth and have hearts by which to reason and ears by which to hear? For indeed, it is not eyes that are blinded, but blinded are the hearts which are within the breasts.


This is Islamic Spirituality. It has unfortunately been given a new term, coined by someone, sometime, somewhere. The term which was coined was Tasawwuf. I wish it had never been coined. because Tasawwuf and al-Ihsaan mean the same thing. Allah , Most High, delivered this word, al-Ihsaan to us, we should have stayed with this term.


So if you hear alfa say " i see Allah" means they see Allah's Signs. It is what Yoruba people coined "Oju Inu" . Hope this helps you. You see when you started this thread and claimed to 'see' malaikat. Did you notice reactions you got from some brothers?

Possible if you have istiqama in real world already. Like i would experience fighting devils in my dreams. Happens to me frequently. The latest was 4days ago. I dont miss ayah kursiy when we start. They start by pinning me down but i dont see them

So, the “man“ who brought him the food disappeared & he found the custodian @ the door. He thanked him & took the food home to his kids but found them with same. After subh prayer, he went to meet hes would be benefactor, he said to him “are u so & so ? Muhammad son of abdullah sent his regards & also said you should give me a 1000 dinar, the insignia between you two being this & that“ the man said “you are right“, he got up hurriedly, went into his room & came out with 1000 dinar & gave him. #2 - I saw a man held by the military, being dragged to the sultan to cut his head off & I saw 4 angels with him, so I knew God is going to save him from that calamity. I asked one of them why they were with him, he said the man recited the verse of concern 4x to his 4 sides, so God sent us to cover him. When he met with the sultan, he ended up aquiting him & gifted him 1000 coins. When he came out, I accosted him & asked him “tell me, when you were hand-cuffed did you recite anything from the glorious Quran?“ he said yes. I required what it was, he said he heard that the verse of concern saves from dangers, so when they caught him, he recited it to his 4 sides.

#3 - I was passing through a dreaded town, I saw a man riding an ox with some stolen goods & also with him was an angel. I asked why he was covering him? He said the man recited the vs that morning, so God sent him to guide him for that day. I accosted the man & said to him, you are a criminal..cont‘d

It can also get u free, if u r in prison. I know say Dasuki don recite am tire.

And also rescue u from hardship.
And must be recited without bismilahi, except auzu

It's true suratul tauba does not have an initial basmallah but it doesn't translate to it must not be recited with basmallah...

JUMMA‘A MUBARAK!!!

Firstly, The basmallah was never an intrinsic part (ayat) of any sura save for the 1st & the 27th only. In the sense that when jibreel (as) came with the first revelation it only started with “READ“ & no basmallah.

Its only by virtue of formality & adab as commanded by the holy prophet (saw) that it was written with them, while compiling the quran due the hadith enforcing such, which also nullifies any view that goes againt starting the sura or part of it without basmallah.

In all the hadiths concerning the basmallah-less of taoba, non came as a directive from the holy prophet (saw) as far as I know. The hadith points to the fact that, any act deviod of basmallah get severed.

#Sure will! Have to translate first. Lots more to pick.

#1 Whoever recite it 7x after the eid-l-fitr, God will save him from deafness for the duration of that year & every other year so far he continues to recite it.

#2 Whoever recites it 11x after the eid-l-adha, God will save him from blindness for the duration of that year & also continuously so far he maintains the recitations.

#3 Whoever recites it 66x after the prayer of eclipse (solar or lunar), God will cure him of all internal ailments.

#4 Whoever recites it 28x after the prayer for rainfall, God will grant whatever he requests.

#5 Whoever continue to recite it 1x immediatly after solat-l-fajr, such shall not die until he has seen his abode in paradise or someone else sees it for him.

#6 Whoever recites it 1x after ISTIKHARA NABAWI, God will asign an angel to aid him & he shall not experience adversity.

#7 Whoever recites it 1x after nawafil, God will protect his IMAN from ruin.

#8 Whoever recites it 1K on the day of ASHURA God will delegate ruhaniyyas to assist him & gather wealth for him from all quaters of the universe.

#9 Whoever recites it 500x on the night of the middle of sha‘aban, God will deliver such from interogations in the grave.

#10 Whoever secluded & recites it 3K while placing his hand on his chest, such shall never fall sick again (God will reconfigure his anti-bodies to the highest level of resistance to fight & conquer any intruder into his system), nobody will be able to harm him from among men & jinns.

#11 Whoever suffers nightmares from the jinns should recite it 11x before bed, God shall deliver him from such.

#12 Whoever strives to be reciting it all the time, standing, sitting, walking, etc God will provide him the goodness of this life & the next, he shall procure the love of the holy prophet (saw) until he begins to see him, if he lives long & did that 4 40yrs, he shall never lose sight of him (saw) for once.
