Mine:
I met this guy on Facebook who claimed he could run admission stuff for me. As a credulous human being, i believed he could. We eventually became online friends and started chatting on whatsapp. He shared me with some of the people he had successfully gotten the admission for. I didn't know they were his accomplices. They played the game so well that i was made to pay 20000 upfront and 30000 would be paid after the admission is secured. After i made the payment, they stayed online for few days and gone thereafter. I was blocked on whatsapp by all of then and they wouldn't pick my calls again. That was in 2009 though.

I met a young boy on fb claiming he is an ophan and needed help from me to pay his school fees in Naija. The boy blocked me after sending him 80k. Na den I know say na scam.
I was lucky he blocked me because because if he had asked more money from me I would have continued helping him.

There is this instagram page that claims to be a shoe maker. I fell in love with one of his sandals and i made an order of 4k.....the guy blocked me after receiving the money.....

I was scammed by my lecturer
Newly recruited, young guy.

He claimed he will teach some MATLAB simulations that I needed for my project - TEACH.
Was it 30 or 50K then, I can't remember for sure but it was 6 years ago o.

Collected part payment. Teaching time oya nu, he was yapping - Light issues, laptop issues, no time issues. Managed to meet him a few times.

Then he said, "you know what, I'll do everything for you in my house and give you, ok?". Naive undergrad, what do I know kwanu. Lol. I said, "ok"

Two years later, I realized, he copied the work of an older graduand. And that he doesn't even know how to use ths software as I thought. And that I had been scammed. And that he scammed and likely is still scamming other students.

He just collects such big money from you, and lift other people's works for you.

.... During my 2nd year on campus, i wanted to change my phone, so i went to computer village.... I saw this guy with my desired phone n i approached him, after negotiating, i said he should follow me to the atm stand so dat i can withdraw some cash, (whereas, my aim was for him to leave his colleagues so that they wouldn't robb me) on our way to the atm i just dipped my hand in my pocket and gave him his money n i collected my phone. Brethren, walahi... On getting home, this sliding phone just pafuka, na paper cellotape and copper wire they used gab the panel together..... Since 2011 e still dey pain me

It happened about three decades ago. I was coming from a JAMB tutorial centre located in Bariga to iyana Ipaja. A guy accosted me in Oshodi while trying to board Molue going to Iyana Ipaja marketing a glittering and beautiful SEIKO wrist watch.
The market value of the watch then was N150 so priced it to N25. I was so happy when he agreed to sell it . I gave him the money and he helped me wrapped it inside a brown envelope.
While in the Molue going to my destination, I was rehearsing how I negotiated my way into buying the highly priced watch. The next action was to admire the watch again but I was shocked to my bone marrow when I found three pebbles of flat granite instead of the watch.
I looked side ways to check whether I was being watched because I was shivering involuntary. Nobody really cared, I tore the envelope and dropped everything on the bus.

Anybody can be scammed
i repeat anybody can be scammed.
All you need is to find the person's vulnerability. You exploit their vulnerability And play with their intelligence and greed

Does anyone know of any escrow service in Nigeria?

I thought banks could offer such services, but the few banks I asked didn't even know what I was talking about...

The only scam I don fall for na TBC.Na God say make I no buy many as per "testing" things. Na later I realize say TBC na rubbish.
