If Yoruba had cooperated with the IGBOS though Jonathan wasn't good enough but we would have allowed him one more time and then wait on the next election when we have a credible and competent candidate

if

SW
SE
NC
SS unite to send this man off

but

how are we sure things would change

religion and tribalism is the major problem of Nigeria politics. once those two things are separated from politics hence we should expect true form of democracy. but without these separation, is still the samething either west, north or east

Sorry, this is nonsense. Truth is,things would've gotten even more worse had Jonathan been reelected, because I'm very sure all the thieves that were controlling him (apparently, Jonathan was not in control) would still be there milking the country dry even in a recession.

Joke of the century!!!

GEJ was grossly incompetent and that was why he was voted out!!! In politics, you don't play games by letting someone like Goodluck do any term. What is the assurance that after the term, you would have the competent leader you expected

We should stop playing politics of "wait!". We should hold leaders accountable and not indulge them. There was never the need to give GEJ another term. I cannot just imagine GEJ being the president of Nigerians during this recession. The suffering will be double!!!

I know it will end that way I'm not too surprise at all. They will fight to finish. So they give up on Buhari already see human being hhmmm..... this was why I was saying Buhari should not kill himself because of Nigeria. He is not dead they are already seeking to replace him that is life.......

Big lesson for the power hungry clowns out there.
Re: 2019: Buhari’s Men In Dilemma by kikake: 12:14pm On May 13, 2017
Even a ram from northern Nigeria must win a most educated Lawyer or most qualified southern Nigerian in any presidential election, so long as the North wants the presidency.

Nigeria's skewed political structure guarranteed that to the north.Ahuja.
A presidential candidate needs to get 25% of votes from 24 states to win.

Instead of insisting that the 36 states and Abuja political structure created by north's soldiers be restructured in a democracy, southern politicians siddon de look northern politicians like Lucozade. They beg for north to take them like son and brother.

No one should bring Gej into this matter and Gej was not even talking about coming back so lets talk about the issue on ground. No need to digress bro don't bother answering anyone calling gej on this issue please.

Am I the only one sickened by all this talk of "The North", "The South", "North-East", "North West", blah blah blah, as if entire geographical regions get together and decide unanimously to pick a candidate? And isn't it striking how little ideologies, programs and track records of competence figure in all of this discussion? How has having a president come from any particular region ever helped that region in Nigeria's history?

I can understand why self-seeking politicians talk of "The North" wanting something - they want "their" turn to "chop" (i.e. steal) from the government purse - but what I don't get is why so many ordinary Nigerians with nothing to gain are so quick to swallow all this nonsense. This refusal to reject transparent tribalistic manipulations by crooked politicians is one reason why I have so little respect for the mass of Nigerians, who are unable to understand that they themselves are the enablers for the problems they lament about.

Personally, I would be happy to turn the reins of Nigeria's government over to even a Martian for the next 8 years, as long as it actually had a clue about economics, and was serious about governing well. Knowing that a president is from my region won't do anything to better my life if he or she also happens to be a sick incompetent like Buhari or a thieving incompetent like Jonathan.
