Hence, I can hardly say those chances were as a result of lovely interplay like we often had with Ibra.

We need to move on from "hold-up play" kind of attacker to pacy, younger strikers that can drag defence out wide to create chances. Strikers that can latch onto through passes with speed like Rashford did against Chelsea. How many hold up play does Lewandoski and Suarez do? These strikers are more pacy, and have speed to trouble defence. They can hold up play too because they're strong. Strength and height helps a striker hold up play.

I don't fancy stats except it's to get idea of a player. You and I know that Ibra often start most of the moves that ended up with him taking the shot in the end except you want to be dishonest.

I could remember the Burnley match for example where he started the move by holding up the play and giving a through pass to Mata who only had to square a pass to Ibra in return. In fact, most of the misses he was alleged to miss was started by him in the first place. He's still the best in the team at playing a throughball to a team mate and that's the fact.
