that's cos their respective clubs doesn't imbibe in them the doctrine of wat should I call it self,

money ofcos is vital but its not all about how much they are paid, but their commitment, zeal, and discipline,

combine those three money will be pursuing dem like a playboy running after skirt

I feel u my bros but it is not that easy. Most players in Nigeria want to go abroad. They are playing more for the hope of a transfer than the good of the club. The NFF has to put their foot down because no transfer can happen without them. If players know that they won't move unless they follow the league guidelines then none of this can happen again.

There are speculation that Odion Ighalo would be heading back to the EPL or LA Liga (Granada) to be precise.

Who can vouch for the authenticity of the news?.

Mfon Udoh tried to leave Enyimba in 2015 but his deal to Ismailiy of Egypt failed. He even blamed Enyimba at the time. Given the chance, he would have left.

Football is a career and money is an important consideration. If the salary structure of league clubs improve, you will see a fall in the exodus.

At his physical they found out he had a bad knee.

Noah Bazee Celebrates As Hannover Are On The Brink Of Promotion

Noah Bazee was delighted after Hannover beat one of their closest challengers for the 2 Bundesliga title, VfB Stuttgart, in the last round of matches, knowing fully well that a draw in their last fixture will see his team gain promotion to the top flight.

The Super Eagles invitee resumed training last week after shelving his plans to undergo surgery, and was at the HDI-Arena as a spectator, having failed to make Hannover's match day squad for the umpteenth time in the last two months.

In an Instagram post, Bazee stated that Hannover are on the brink of promotion but they remain focused ahead of Sunday's away match at Sandhausen.

Injuries have blighted Bazee's campaign, as he has managed only 13 appearances, the last coming on March 18 , when he came off the bench against FC St. Pauli.

That said, the winger has not lost his creativity, having contributed to seven goals in the games he has featured.

Liverpool Loanee Awoniyi – Why I’m Now Scoring Goals For NEC Nijmegen

On loan Liverpool forward Taiwo Awoniyi has lifted the lid on his recent run of two goals in two games for his loan side NEC Nijmegen after going close to seven months without a goal.

19 year old Awoniyi is on a season long loan from Liverpool to the Dutch side who are struggling to remain in the elite division, and the Nigerian has played a part in their quest for survival with two goals in his last two games.

” First of all I want to say God almighty should take the credit for my recent run of form. That said I think knowing you have the trust of the coach has helped me. The new manager has lifted my spirit”, Awoniyi told Owngoalnigeria.com.

” Secondly my teammates now understand me better. They play to my strength, it took a while for them to get used to me but I believe they understand how I want balls played to me now.

” We have to approach our remaining game like a cup final. The way we played in our last game shows the positive spirit we have in the team now, by the grace of God, our fans will smile big at the end of the season.

"I actually signed documents to play for Ismaily on Sunday. But what I heard was that Enyimba delayed in the signing of the documents which made Ismaily to sign other players and they have filled the three foreign slots for this transfer window," Mfon told AfricanFootball.com

The former Akwa United striker, who is in Uyo currently, said he is disappointed Enyimba delayed signing the agreement.

"I am not happy what Enyimba did on this deal. I don't know why they delayed the document signing when they had it with them,” he said.

“Enyimba are yet to tell me anything about the deal, I am waiting to hear from them if there still a way out of it or not.

“It is not right, they just kept mute, telling me nothing."

Former Liverpool Defender Could Be Back In The Premier League

Former Portugal youth international Tiago Ilori could return to the Premier League next season, less than five months after he departed Liverpool.

The versatile defender returned to Reading's starting eleven in the second leg of the playoff semifinal against Fulham at the Madejski Stadium on Tuesday night.

Ilori put in an almost flawless performance against the Cottagers and lasted the distance as the Royals booked their place at Wembley with a 2-1 aggregate victory.

The 24-year-old managed only five Championship appearances in the regular season due to a ligament injury he sustained against Fulham, shortly after completing his move to Reading.
In the playoff final, Ilori and his teammates will face either Sheffield Wednesday or Huddersfield Town.

You Will Regret Turning Down Nigeria for Germany – Ex Hamburg Youth Teamer Tells Torunarigha

Former Nigeria youth international Macauley Chrisantus says Hertha Berlin rising star Jordan Torunarigha will regret turning down Nigeria in favour of Germany.

Born to a Nigerian father Ojokojo Torunarigha , the 19 year old has emerged as one of the break away teen in the German Bundesliga this season, and it has lead to a tug of war for his international future between Nigeria and Germany.

Torunarigha snubbed the chance to team up with the senior national team of Nigeria, preferring to continue his progress through the youth ranks of Germany, where he is a youth international.

” During my days at Hamburg, I had similar experience with a German-Nigerian player, I won’t mention his name. Few years ago we met and he told me, he regret not listening to me”, the Reus of Spain forward told Owngoalnigeria.com.

” I played in Germany for five years, so I can’t help but wonder the type of pressure Torunarigha is under, but still the opportunity to play for Nigeria is a no brainer, which many will take especially as Nigeria might be at the World Cup 2018 in Russia”.

Mustafi – The Introduction Of Iwobi Sparked Arsenal To Win Over Sunderland

Arsenal German defender Shkodran Mustafi has hailed the contribution of Arsenal Nigerian forward Alex Iwobi in their 3-0 win over Sunderland in the English Premier League.

Iwobi was introduced in the 69th minutes, and according to Mustafi he brought about urgency in the play of Sunderland which unsettled their defence for Alexis Sanchez who got both goals for Arsenal to strike.

” Some of us have obviously played lot of games and it was telling as the game progressed. Iwobi’s introduction helped us move the ball quicker and you can tell it helped us in getting the goal”, Mustafi said.

“It wasn’t easy, even though Sunderland knew they were already going down but you have to play those games. It isn’t easy when you play every three days, you get tired as well. We had a lot of opportunities and we made it a bit harder than it was, but we got the important three points [in the end].”

Rohr Calls Off Friendly, Eagles To Spend Two Weeks In Nigeria Before South Africa Game

The Super Eagles will no longer hold a training camp in Paris before their African Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa on June 10.

Therefore, a proposed friendly with the Togolese National Team has been canceled, though it was never approved by the Nigeria Football Federation in the first place.

Allnigeriasoccer.com broke the news that Super Eagles manager Gernot Rohr had specially requested to play Togo in a friendly before the meeting with South Africa.

''The coach called off the friendly in Paris so as to concentrate on the AFCON qualifier against South Africa,” Nigeria Football Federation spokesman Ademola Olajire stated.

''The team will therefore come back to Abuja immediately after the match against Corsica.”

The roster for the African Cup of Nations qualifier against South Africa will be announced as from May 26, after the friendly with Islanders, Corsica.

NFF Cut Short Eagles Stay In Paris, Team To Travel Out On Monday For France

The senior national team in Nigeria won’t be spending the number of days they were expected to spend in the camp in France later in the month, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.

Sources at the glass house confirmed to our editorial desk that the team is due back in Nigeria on the 28th of May, two days after the friendly game against Corsica as against the earlier proposed return date of 1st of June.

No reason was given for the sudden cut in the number of days the team will be spending in their camp in Paris, but it will for now bring to an end the debate surrounding the proposed tie against Togo.

The game will no longer hold as the proposed date of 1st of June isn’t feasible anymore following the recent cut in the days the team will spend in France.

Players and officials of the Super Eagles will depart Nigeria latest Monday May 22nd, for France . Team secretary Anchor Enebi who picked up his France Visa few days ago, said other squad members will secure their visa before Friday this week ahead of their departure on Monday.

German Journalist – Bazee Is A Faster Version Of Victor Moses, Eagles Lucky To Have Him

German journalist Roland Mark has given fans of Super Eagles a comprehensive low down on what to expect from Eagles new boy Noah Joel Sarenren Bazee.

Mark who is Owngoalnigeria.com contact man in Germany revealed Nigeria pulled a fast one on Germany by making Sarenren Bazee commit his international future to Nigeria ahead of Germany.

The Hannover 96 forward played five Bundesliga games for the team before their relegation last season, but despite battling injuries and fitness issues he has emerged as one of the integral members of the team, who are one win away from returning to the Bundesliga.

” He is 20, quick, strong and skillful. He plays like Victor Moses of Chelsea but he is a bit quicker and far more creative than the Chelsea wingback “, Mark told Owngoalnigeria.com.

” Bazee has six assists from just 13 games this season, four short of the man with the highest assist in the league. He only need to increase his goal return. Nigeria should thank Rohr for helping them get a player of his quality “.

Watford Confirms Isaac Success Will Play Under New Coach Next Season

English Premier League side Watford has confirmed a new manager will be at the helm at Vicarage road next season after coach Walter Mazzari agreed to step down at the end of this season.

The club released a short statement on their official website, where it was stated that Mazzari won’t be in charge of the team next season, as an agreement has been reached for him to leave after their final game of the season.

It means Nigerian forward Isacc Success who joined the club last summer from Spanish La-Liga side Granada will play under a new manager at the club where he ranks as one of their most expensive buys in history.

Success has found games hard to come by under the Italian manager, no thanks to injuries and fitness issues which has hindered his progress at the club.

Arsenal Winger Iwobi Reveals The Key Area Of His Game He Has To Improve

Arsenal winger Alex Iwobi has acknowledged that he has to add goals to his game and hopes to force his way back into the team.

The Nigeria international had been snubbed for the last eight matches in the Premier League before manager Wenger gave him a run out in Tuesday night's 2-0 win versus Sunderland, but he could not add to add to his goal tally in the 21 minutes he spent on the pitch.

“I need to work hard, create more goals and score more goals,” Iwobi told arsenal.com.

“I’ve been trying to do that in training and hopefully get back in the team. So I’ve just been patient.

Exclusive: West Ham Reignite Interest In Watford Starlet Isaac Success, Switches Agents

Isaac Success could depart Watford in the summer transfer window, with West Ham set to reignite their interest in the striker after missing out on his signature in 2016,
allnigeriasoccer.com understands.

Watford parted company with their Italian manager Walter Mazzarri on Wednesday, and the Nigeria international is due to hold clear-the-air talks with Hornets chief when a new coach is announced.

Mazzarri went back on his word after capturing the Nigerian, he promised him regular playing opportunities which never happened.

The former Golden Eaglets and Flying Eagles sensation needs assurances that he will be part of the first team next season or loan him out to a club where he can fulfill his potential.

If there's no positive feedback from the Vic, Success's priority is to join West Ham ,who attempted to sign him before his big money move to the Premier League.

Ahead of a potential departure from Watford, the number ten has signed a representation contract with Odion Ighalo's intermediary, who holds close links to English and Scottish clubs.

West Ham United have won the race to sign hot in demand Nigerian forward Henry Onyekuru after agreeing a transfer fee in the region of over £7m for his signing, Owngoalnigeria.com can exclusively reveal.

The scorer of 21 goals this season has been linked with a move to ‎a team in the English Premier League this summer with Crystal Palace, West Brom, Everton and Bournemouth sounding out his representatives.

Owngoalnigeria.com Daniel Martins reports a fee has been agreed between West Ham United and Eupen for his transfer, and personal terms are currently been thrashed out.

” West Ham is it. He will join them if they are able to agree personal terms and some add ons due to Eupen especially in the area of future transfer to a team for a fee above a certain amount”, he said.

” Hopefully he will join them for pre season. The deal could be announced as early as next month if talks continue to progress at the rate at which they are going”.
