N-POWER LAGOS INFORMATION
One big question in the mind of beneficiaries with blank and those that were disqualified is- "Will there be another verification exercise? If yes, then when?"
This question was sent to Lagos Npower focal person on Thursday and she replied "I am not in charge of verification."
Going by her statement, one will agree with her that, since she's not in charge of verification, then, she ordinarily has no power to take that decision. We will also recalled during the interactive session with N-officials under the leadership of Mr. Afolabi; the NOA Chairman in Lagos, who is in charge of verification exercise also asked if they can be permitted to conduct another verification exercise?
Mr. Afolabi only said after three weeks of redeployment, they can be consider for another verification exercise.
Now three weeks has elapsed and it look as if everyone is not talking about it anymore. For another verification exercise to be carry out by the NOA, the chairman has to contact Abuja if they can be allowed to organize another exercise.
Up till now, we have not been able to get through to the Chairman. As it stands now, the focal person has stated clearly; she's not in charge of the verification exercise. So we want to use this medium to appeal to volunteers involved to be calm, as soon as we get information in this regards, we shall get back to YOU.

Its still the old list. Just that Npower dispatched these lists (N-health) to various LGA starting from yesterday/today. My advice is that you visit the LGA you were deployed to for way forward. For example, mine is Ikorodu West, i visited Ikorodu West LGA yesterday and today. I did documentation, filled a form and gave them 2 passports. Some hours later they posted us to various PPAs. Thanks.

Few hours ago, some of the reps met with the focal person, Mrs. Olusola Falana over the issues facing N-power beneficiaries in Lagos State and after the meeting, the following FAQs was drafted.
*Frequently Asked Question about N-power Lagos*
*Question 1*
What is the latest development regarding reverification exercise for blank and absent volunteers?
*Answer 1*
There is no arrangement the state is making regarding reverification exercise for beneficiaries with blank space because of logistics. The first verification delayed because Lagos states government was at first reluctant to finance the exercise.
However, All absentee and wrongly disqualified will be reabsorbed into the second batch. They will be consider first before any other applicants.
*Question 2*
What is the status of N-health posting?
*Answer 2*
On issues relating to N-health posting, the commission in charge (ministry of health) claim they are supposed to be in charge of posting not LG and the was what nullified the first list sent to all the LG's and LCDA. However, they are aware some LG have started using the formal list to post beneficiaries but that doesn't stop them from going the to their PPA. All the N-health list has been sent to the commission under the SSA to the Governor on health and they are still working on health matter.

What is the fate of those that have not been posted which include N-teach/N-community and ?
*Answer 3*
The delay in the posting is basically because they want to post volunteers to areas close to their residence.For the unposted beneficiaries, she has ordered us to compile the new list of those that have not been posted to be submitted to her later this week for posting. For N-agro beneficiaries that have not been posted, she has sorted that out with the woman in charge.
*Question 4*
Unpaid beneficiaries have corrected their details via the form that was provided by you yet many of them have not been paid, why?
*Answer 4*
On the issue of unpaid beneficiaries, the focal person is happy that some have started receiving alert. Furthermore, she explained that issues of unpaid is been sorted out state by state, that was why the FG in their recent post on Facebook said those that made correction on their details four to six weeks ago will be paid month end. She said they are attending to all the state batch by batch, but all hands are on desk to pay everyone by month end.

Is there any arrangement concerning redeployment within the state?

Latest on the redeployment outside the state?

Redeployment within the state is possible and she has directed us on what to do. The form will soon be made available for those that want to be redeployed either from one LG to the other or due to far distance from their home to their place of primary assignment. On Lagos to other states for redeployment, she said the form is not available for now that the FG is still working on it.

Some beneficiaries saw verified logo on their portal last week, but all of a sudden, it disappeared, why?
*Answer 7*
Reason the unpaid initially saw the verified logo was due to bug. A software bug is an error, flaw, failure or fault in a computer program or system that causes it to produce an incorrect or unexpected result, or to behave in unintended ways.
Once the bug was fixed the verified logo disappeared from the unpaid dashboard.

Thanks for the info. But when the 1st list came out, i went with others to the LG where we presented our passports & other means of identification & were posted to our PPAs until we heard that they had cancelled that list. Anyway, i'll have to go back there tomorrow to confirm if i'm just to resume back to the earlier PPA or there's goint to be a change. Thanks again.

So let's exercise patience and give them this week at least.
Meanwhile, we were told that the Reference letter we submitted will be used as our Guarantor form so those of you that are yet to submit your Reference letters should kindly do so this week.
Conclusively, I will like to reiterate to everyone that those representing us are colleagues like you and they are not being paid an extra dime for the SELFLESS services they are rendering so let's be patient with them and speak to them in a respectable manner (although Respect is Reciprocal). All beneficiaries posted to senior secondary school have been directed to come to Maryland with their posting letter on Friday 19th May by 10am. This becomes necessary because the officials of district have been directed to repost those involved to junior secondary school. Once again, all those involved should report to Maryland on Friday.
