Thanks, I think it's powder causing the sneezing, haven't heard her cough again since then.

Serious matter.
That means she has a very sensitive nose be that.
Dust powders far from her and gently use your fingertips to apply.
Or make it in a paste and rub on her. That's what I do sometimes.

Good afternoon mamas in the house.
please I need a candid advise on this issue of mine.

two months after delivery I had this severe pain on my left wrist tendon. it was so painful that to Carry my ds was a problem. I googled it and the condition was de quervain. I and hubby tried so many things like cold compression, hot compression, use of analgesic cream n drug. my hubby is a physiotherapist. but none work. I went to visit an orthopedic surgeon and he advised I took steroid injection around December which knocked out the pain since then. he told me like wise Google that it might go completely or resurface.

And that if it resurface they will have to incisce it to release the sheat causing it.

now it is back with full force even with pepperish pain sensation.
went to see another orthopedic consultant and said d best thing is to incise it.

but my problem now is hubby is saying what is wrong with me that I want to incise dat is d pain not bearable. And I know say not because of anything just dat his profession and orthopedic na cat n dog.

me I want to go for the incision and forget about the pain but am confused and am in serious pain...

please advise a confused mum: za.ynie,feddy,jaya.mama,jazzyja.zz,, a.hnie, all sabi mamas

and if anyone has had dis condition before..

I would say incise. Whatever is giving pain has to leave jare.
Make your husband understand.

Yes as long as it is well cooked, not honey, not meat, not groundnut (except well grounded)
Meat has a lot of worms.
Honey might be contaminated.
Raw food might be contaminated too.
Fruits yes, fermented food yes, stew, well cooked fish, yes.

I called the doctor that saw me throughout my pregnancy and he said to bring him to the hospital on Monday morning so he can have a look at it. If it needs to be re-done, we will do it though I'm scared for him - the pain he will go through for someone else's mistake.

We will hold the hospital liable for it.

Good moni.

Pls help me out ooo. my girl is better now however my boy is down now.

Last week they ran test on both of them (though I only presented the girl"s complaints), the result shows both needs to be treated even if the girls number were higher.

The same drugs were administered and I started giving but it don't work until I had to give the girl piriton and vitc, she was also given injection.

The girl is ok but still coughing and my boy is so ddown with cough, cattarh, and high temp. I have used plenty drugs, from the one they gave at the clinic to the few I have at home. We were at the hospital yesterday and they administered another cough syrup, this night his temp is over the bar. He is not sleeping!

Could it be they are not treating the right thing? Am planning taking him to another hospital. Tomorrow. What could be wrong?

Not slept for some nights now and me sef am so down.

This cough and cattarh is everywhere. It is also so hard to treat it takes time before it goes completely. As per his temp still give him paracetamol or any fever reducer you are using. Then also mop his body with lukewarm water to bring his temp down. I hope ths will help until morning when you can go back to the clinic. Pele

Morning to you all
I am a new mom, I gave birth to a beautiful princess, I actually ported from the pregnancy thread.

I had my girl through cs two weeks ago and I am still bleeding(not as heavy as it was a week ago) , I don't know if this is normal cos anytime I take something hot, the blood comes out more.
Also, I am losing weight rapidly, I am almost at my pre pregnancy weight, is this also normal cos I eat a lot but I am not gaining weight... am I ok or should I complain to my doctor about this two issues bothering me

The one I can answer is the weight. Depends on his birthweight and what he eats. I personal don't think he's overweight from the pic you shared of him. Besides my son is 8kg at 3 months what will we call that one? But he was 4.3 at birth, isn't exclusively breastfed and is quite tall.
jazzyjazz:
Please o, make Una help me torchlight this matter

Last week after my son's dedication, he started having cough, then on Wednesday night he had a temperature of 39.2. Since it was very late I used tepid water to clean him and the temperature came down. The cough persisted. On Sunday 2e took him to the hospital, they said to give antibiotics and vitamin c for 5 days. I gave the meds for 5 days but the cough and cold still no go. So I took him back

This time the doctor sent us to the lab for test, he ordered for full blood count and malaria parasite.
Result came back ++ for malaria and traces of infection for the full blood count.
He now placed us on another antibiotics, vitamin c, paracetamol, and coartem for the malaria

Are these drugs not too much for a 4 month old?

Secondly, I fear my son was not properly circumcised. I've been having that feeling for a while so I asked the doctor he said truly there's a little foreskin but that it's not a problem. But in still not satisfied

Please do you mamas think the circumcision should be redone?
I can post pics for better judgement

Then the doctor said my son is overweight at 4 months old
My son weighs 8.2kg. Is this true?

Bleeding is normal. It should stop completely btw 4 and 6 weeks
Loss of weight is normally. I assume you're exclusively breastfeeding, that's where all your food is going

Children day is around the corner and to mark it you will get free gift for books over 20 books ordered from kidco

And let us not forget that the most important trait you’d like to develop in your child? If you’re like most parents, intelligence is probably at the top of your list.

We all want bright, smart children, which is why we spend so much time choosing the right schools and making sure teachers are exceeding expectations. But remember: as a parent, you have the power to boost your children's learning potential simply by making books an integral part of their lives.

Various foreign books that children loves, such as Dora, Thomas the train engine, mickey mouse club house and much more are being sold in retail price on demand, these books for children ranging from age 0-8 and 8-13 available on request, including shipping negotiating

For further information visit KIDCO on Facebook pages or search for KIDCO in Nairaland forum you will see more discussion by parents who have since purchased theirs
