I have no doubt RM will win the league on Sunday, but here is a bit of perspective on how difficult this is in the Era of Messi.

Since Messi' explosion, Barca won 6 out of 8 leagues. Could be 6 out of 9 next week. But only ONCE Barca was out of the race in game 38.

Think about it. Once in 8 season. Not only does Messi forces you to win a crazy marathon, but even when you win, he's one inch behind you.

How RM competed that league and will (probably) win it is also incidentally the illustration of the club great planning in the last years.

This is the main reason why RM decided to improve the quality & quantity on the bench. The club needed to adjust to Cristiano decline.
