Ha ha.

Their governors must be kings in those places! grin

Tana river is mostly unadjudicated land so it makes it abit complicated. The Ormas claim parts of it (its right next to Garissa) while the Pokomo claim parts. These claims overlap each other at times, especially during famine, when Ormas take their cattle and feed them on Pokomo farms (there was no such incidence this time, surprisingly,)

They come as far as the River Tana which cuts through the county.

In Eastern, they start at Isiolo. Also alot of incidences there with the neighbouring Meru farmers who also happen to keep livestock in addition to farming. Many times their are raided for their cattle, besides then occasional feeding of livestock on their farms.

Now I have a picture. Their Govnr is Dado, an Oromo. Pheww!! Devolution is a cool thing

I don't know about that, but they were and still are warriors. They are unique and I'm very fascinated by them.

Some scholars even says, they are descendants of the Ancient Egyptians among the Beja people and other groups of people. Look at there hair and facial features. They look Ancient Egyptians and beautiful.

Those Afars might have been the black pharaohs of egypt.

The rainbow town in portharcourt is still underconstruction build up buildings are not even 25... Be honest when you preach honesty...

Mombasa Marina with 22floors almost complete
and
Kizingo Mombasa also 22floors
lastly
Cresent Apartments 24flrs Mombasa site preps already

The Rainbow Town Port Harcourt project was commissioned in 2015. There are Sixteen 12-storey Towers and nine 15 - storey all topped out.

Once, a structure is topped out it is considered a highrise or skyscraper.

See the pictures below. The first picture is the 9 15 - storey already topped out and particularly painted as at 2015. Remember, we are in 2017. grin

The second picture is the Sixteen 12-storey Towers also already topped out. This picture was taken in 2014.

When I go to P/H, I will take some pictures and post it here. grin

Conclusion; Port Harcourt has 25 highrises while mombasa has 11 highrises. grin

Looking at the picture of these buildings, I will say Mombasa has only one structure with 20 floors above T/O. The other one is not yet topped out. Is it? grin

If I am wrong, please prove me wrong. grin

No 1, nine 15 - storey towers picture

No 2 & 3, Sixteen 12-storey Towers grin

Nigerians are celebrating the largest and most colourful street carnival in Calabar city (which attracts hundreds of thousands of tourists from all over the world).

While Jay254 and mtis are celebrating blanket gatherings. Can Kenyans be any more comical?

Meanwhile, Nigerian women group selfies.

With this kind of bias its not hard to see why the dark skinned nigerians feel compelled to bleach. You make them bleach

Uganda's electricity exports to Kenya hit historic high now 35% shitty country called Kenya

Nairobi. Electricity imports from Uganda hit a historic high in January as Kenya sought more power to plug a shortfalls from drought-hit hydroelectric dams.
Kenya imported 20.87 million kilowatt hours (kWh) from Uganda in the first month of the year, which is equivalent to four months of power that Nairobi has been importing from Kampala.
The drought, which has hit large parts of northern Kenya, Coast and Eastern, has particularly affected water level on dams, forcing power generation companies to switch to use of diesel, pushing up the cost of power bills.

Thermal power is expensive and it is only produced when there is a shortage of cheaper hydropower and available geothermal energy has been fully injected into the grid.
The Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) said it had stepped up Uganda imports because they are cheaper compared with thermal power.
“This is one of our strategies to ensure thermal use does not rise so much,” said Joseph Oketch, the director of electricity at the ERC.
The country has a direct transmission line (132 kilovolt) connecting with Uganda via Tororo, allowing injection of bulk electricity to the Kenyan grid.
Import from Uganda is largely cheaper hydropower and has grown from 12.2 million units last December and 4.8 million units in January last year. A unit of hydro on average goes for KSh3 compared with Sh20 for thermal.
The ERC data shows that Kenyan power exports to Kampala stood at 720,000 units in January.

20-month low
Hydropower generation dipped to a 20-month low in January at 252 million units, due to depressed dam water levels as the drought ravaged the country.
The supply shortfall was plugged by increased intake of a mix of imports, geothermal power and expensive diesel-fired electricity.
Kenyan homes and businesses consumed 829 million kWh of power in January.

Geothermal accounted for 45.8 per cent, followed by hydro-electric power (30.3 per cent from 35 per cent a month earlier) cry cry, while thermal grew to 23.7 per cent from 18.6 per cent in December.
The fuel cost levy, which is levied on consumer bills and paid to diesel power generators, has remained unchanged at Sh2.85 per unit since December.
Presently, homes consuming 200 kilowatt hours (kWh) pay Sh3,691 up from Sh3,398 same month last year, or Sh293 more.
Official data shows that power imports from Uganda last year jumped 47 per cent to 83.2 million units.

No transmission line
There is, however, no transmission line connecting the two countries, impeding bulk power trade.
Nairobi stopped buying power from Dar es Salaam last year.
“Kenya and Tanzania have cross border electrification arrangement in which Tanzania sells power to Kenya’s parts not connected to the national grid via Lunga Lunga as Kenya sells to Tanzania via Namanga,” the ERC said.
Kenya Power ruled out power rationing, adding that the rains expected from next month look set to boost water in the dams.
http://www.monitor.co.ug/Business/Markets/Uganda-s-electricity-exports-Kenya-hit-historic-high/688606-3842286-14ed0x5z/index.html

Random number, that Uganda only produces 900 MW. Our Kenya Power is so mannered as to import electricity from neighboring countries (who don't even produce enough for their own consumption) just to ensure kenyans are not in the dark. Does nigeria import electricity to at least give some nigerians more than 15 hours?

Leave that guy alone. Debating with him is like arguing with a goat. He's included 3 towers under construction in the Lagos list, one tower with 19 floors, another tower with 17 floors and two names of the same tower thus increasing the tower count of Lagos' towers over 20 floors from 18 to 24. He's then fished random figures from his arse as total number of high-rises in Lagos and Nairobi. Interestingly he first stated that Lagos has 106 high-rises then suddenly it's 126 and he claims Mombasa has no tower over 20 floors lol. It's painful debating him.

Hahahahahah! grin grin d thing pain the guy ooooooo. grin

Show me your list and I will pinpoint Parliament Tower and Prism Tower still under construction but you included them on ya list.. Maka why? grin
