Abeg who dey near this man, make e borrow am note 4 for a day oooo, u think say u nr fit do all that with s625, I mean efficiently? You come even dey call Leegoo shark(I feel like crashing this thing everyday, even Redmi 4x dey far better) join sef, smh. S625 don suffer for una hand oooo. Of course if dem put S660, very few pple go dey ready to pay the flagship price, even the stated price on this don too high already. I get your point sha, but I still insist make you handle any device running s625 then come back, forget ppl comments for gsmarena and co, many na novice for phone matter.

Now u get. I will sure feel d difference because am a heavy user and i can't tell. Like now, my 3gb ram is leaving just 500mb left, that's to tell u how much i do with my phone. 625 has it limit, wait till u push it. For everyday use, no p.

Actually, at that price, am paying for a midranger and snapdragon 625 is considered a budget processor and it's from last year again (huh angry). Leeco, am wishing u well o. Leeco won't ever come this low, their worstest is mtk x series. They should have given us x30 instead.
Princetom1, if nr b say dem steal my phone, I for dey argue like you now because I nr ever reason this S625 because of wetin reviews talk but now my eyes don clear.

Even if dem steal mine now, will buy another mi max or leeco max 3. Can't pay a premium for 625.

Shuu, does Xiaomi wanna turn to oppo and Vivo?

Sure, bt am willing to pay 300 usd for mi max 2 with Snapdragon 660. At the bolded, that's why they are called mid rangers. And that is why u have snapdragon 652 last year and snapdragon 660 this year and the helio x series.

That's a fair price considering the Sony sensor, gorilla glass, stereo speakers and battery.

At the bolded is left for the makers to decide if they are prioritizing battery life over performance.

The next device to get 660 might not have a good battery or sensor

Increase your budget to 130 usd and get a leeco cool 1 dual from a store that just opened this year February (still trying to get customer). That's a steal for that price.

If there is anything leeco and xiaomi has taught us, is pricing. Lei Jun answering question on weibo last month said, it's possible to sell devices are crazily cheap prices because they don't pay money for advert much, online mostly and it cost just a fraction. After the tear down of major flagship like Samsung and Apple revealed that coat of production is always around 250 usd, den u will know that Sony sensor, gorilla glass, stereo speaker are just names to turn ur head. Even less known brands now use, amoled screen, sharp sensor and so on. Xiaomi seems to wanna join the band wagon of what they preach against now

I'm truly disappointed with Mi Max 2 specs angry
How can one pay $248 for a SD-625? They couldn't even up it to SD-626. All my wait in vain. Now people will snap up the remaining Mi Max in the market grin
Looks like Xiaomi prioritized battery life over performance, not too many people will be happy with this or going it (unless of-course, they decide to drop the price considerably....evil grin). I like the new look and all, but is it enough to tempt me to go for it? Thank you Xiaomi for making me more confused...

I foresee another Xiaomi device with the SD-660 but much later in the year.

Obviously d quality of hardware dey better so price must go up, not justifying the high price sha, but imagine if na s660, you go pay almost $400?

Very correct, only the price is where they got it wrong for me, way too expensive considering price of last year's flashships.

To be fair to Xiaomi, you don't expect them to go all out for a mid ranger and still cap the price at somewhere $300.

Even if they don't do advert like you rightly pointed out, there are still so many over head bills to be paid. The snap 625 isn't a bad processor as you are painting it to be but hey different strokes for different folks.
