I remember when my brother wanted to marry, the only thing my moma asked him was if he was sure about things, not going to one businessman called pastor for some stupid vision, some parents are just too selfish that they always want things their own way and not considerate of what their children want

Op, biko ask your mum to tell you the reason(s) behind this. You are a full grown man and she should be able to give you good reasons not to marry her.

You're just to on point bro.. Many parents may have lead their children astray in their quest in deciding whom they should or not.

I'm a man that makes decision on how to live my life.. The highest my parents can do is to offer me their advice and perhaps, counsel. Anything other than that means they're threading beyond their jurisdiction as parents.

I just wonder why some people are in their thirties yet they still give their parents the chance to use their autonomous power to reverse any decision they make

I met my girlfriend 3 year's ago , and I really loves everything about her since then till now because she always abide my decisions and very cool person like the type of future's partner I'm praying for .

When I introduced her to my mum last year . She was so excited and prayed for the two of us , but she called me after a week later and told me that I can't marry that girl at all and when I asked her the reason why , she said she was told by her pastor and I must follow what she said without any question again because I'm just alone from her , but I disagree with her and continue my life with that bae thinking that I may get chance to convince my mum but not

The problem now is I'm in love with this bae seriously but my mum insisted that if I must marry that girl , is either for me to forget her as a mother OR after her death


I'm planning to marry next year but I don't really know what to do now
