Just like Jay254 said, it is mostly the far northerners that are not on nairaland. They are the fewest here.

We the central northerners are here in good numbers, just that a lot of us do not like to identify as northerners, and we can relate very well with southern culture.

Lol, where did you get your pics from. I hope it's not random pics from the internet cuz you know Google isn't always accurate. Your average Fulani doesn't look like that. They have some diversity in look also. Fulanis have a slight distinct appearance from Horners like Ethiopia.
You can definitely tell these are Fulanis.

Again none of them look like your typical Fulani. I don't think I've seen a Fulani that looks like any of them before. Only 1 or 2 of your pictures have a distinguishable look. The 4th picture is Somali. The second picture is also a dead giveaway as it has Arabic writing, likely Sudanese. The rest look like African Americans as many have a little European admixture. FYI honer groups share more looks with the Somali being slightly more distinct. Your average Fulani is very distinguishable, I'm just saying.

I have a lot of these people as my family members. My mother's immediate younger sister married a fulani man, a close cousin of hers married 3 wives, one is a shuwa arab and the other a fulani woman. Half of my people are muslims who intermarry fulanis, hausas and shuwa arabs like no tomorrow.

Here in the south, all northerners who speak hausa identify as one, so i have many fulani family friends.

I can tell you authoritatively that this is the way many or most urban fulanis/hausanized fulanis look like.

Those pictures you posted resemble Fulani than many of your previous one. These pictures are Fulani and they don't look like Horners. The only picture that maybe resemble Horner is the last one. Genetically speaking, Fulani are closer to West Africans particularly from the Senegambia region than Horners like Somali or Oromo.

There is always some element of truth in these types of legends. Tutsis must have been quite a wayward group to veer off that far from the horn

How many hausa-fulani muslim houses have you entered in Nigeria? I have entered dozens and even passed a night in some.

Arabic writings are very very common everywhere in the walls, upholsteries and even ceramics/cutleries of many typical Nigerian muslims. So, i wonder why you use that to judge.
Arabic is not a strange language to all muslims afterall. Most somalis speak it and even somali language is also written in the arabic script. Likewise hausa.
