Thanks bro I doubt the embassy will respond to such request. Besides, what information do you need from them that you do not already have? You filled your application and added all supporting documents. Go through them for any information you need or better still, request for your GCMS file, you will get all personal details and other useful information concerning your previous application in doing so. Hi boss, I'm no guru but I suppose that should fly. You may also consider writing a letter to explain in detail all you have just stated to the V.O Regards

|

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by Nobody: 10:09pm On May 30, 2017 |
CanadianNurse: Do you know If they would let you obtain a foreign currency bank draft with the funds in your Dom account. |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by Newman1010: 10:30pm On May 30, 2017 |
You can use this option if you have available funds. You get dollar at a 360/ $ instead of using aboki. The bank will not transfer the funds immediately to the school, so you won't have to wait for another 1-2 weeks to confirm from your school. Immediately to the bank debits you, they issue you a dollar draft which you will scan to CIC as proof of living expense. At this rate 10,000 cad should not exceed 2.7m naira. nairalandnewbie: 1 Like |

Yes. Foreign currency drafts are usually treated using Dom funds except you want to use Form A. LightandDarkness: |

CanadianNurse: I see, maybe you could wait till first week in June to get the letter....in case they confirm a bit later you would have the funds but I'm not sure they would, anyway this is new territory for all of us. Newman1010: Okay thank you. I was wondering if they would refuse to do such with the forex situation. |

Did you make payment initially? [qwuote author=fembas316 post=57028712] I received medical mail today, but I wasn't requested to provide a proof of "fund export"
|
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by CanadianNurse: 11:49pm On May 30, 2017 |
LightandDarkness:yea that's the issue... I'm just trying to put one or two together to find out if they legally posses the right to check my account balance just because I submitted a letter stating that a particular amount was in my account at a particular period of time which is any way true oga @yemdogg and other lawyers come and epp us ejoor 1 Like |

CanadianNurse: Boss, Sorry for the late response, day just break for here. To the issue, I would get the promised said letter that confirms fund will be exported and send to cic. If I remember correctly, the recent proof of fund export has various options with the letter being one of them. I do not know the amount you declared initially, so I would put on hold the payment of fees since it would put my balance in a bit of jeopardy. In my response mail to cic, while attaching the letter, I will let the VO know in a calm way, that I intend paying the fee as soon as the TRV is approved. Remember,we have had the case where some people who paid fees were also denied. That is my opinion boss. |
