CanadianNurse:Depending on what the bank will write on the letter, if the available amount is stated and meets the requirements of IRCC, then i doubt there will be any issue. What you submit to the embassy will be used to make a final decision. Your main concern is to make sure any evidence in response to the request of the embassy meet the requirement of the IRCC act of sufficient funds for your first year. However you choose to do this is totally up to you. Include the evidence of the tuition payment and evidence of the new dom account in addition to the reference/assurance letter for the dollar account since the SOA you submitted had funds in naira. But then, If you were requested to pay your first year tuition, make sure you pay first before you revert back to them with assurance of living expenses fund also meeting the 10,000CAD required. Just do as you've been instructed. |

maziude:bros see i have paid half of my school fees and the balance Is 7k cad which is about 5k usd... In my domiciliary account I have 10k usd... After I get the letter which states "10k usd is on deposit in the account as at" 1st of June" and the said amount can be exported under CBN policy after I get that letter then I want to pay my school fees which will make the balance in the account 5k...im just skeptical if they will still come back and check the account and make an issue out of it NB: I have 18k usd for my living expenses but I will not meet up the deadline if I am to wait for that one So that's what I'm just contemplating |
Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by CanadianNurse: 9:19am On May 31, 2017 |
Austinpee4:Thank you bro.. I just want to know if they can go back and check the balance because the letter States that 10k usd is in the account as of 1st of June.. Can they go back around 10th of June to check the balance do they legally have a right to do that? |

Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 12 by maziude: 9:38am On May 31, 2017 |
chybaz: It depeneds. Most schools run 3 terms per year: fall, winter and summer terms while some run 2 terms per year: fall and winter. It depends on which one your school/course does. If it is 3/year then it is 2 years else it is 3 years. You can confirm from your university though. |
