Whoever wants to compare Nigeria's GDP with Kenya's certainly doeant understand a thing about economics. Kenya is wherever it is because Kenyans are brilliant people. Nigeria has $0.5 B GDP because of oil exports. Kenya doesnt rely on minerals, unlike the rest of Africa's top 10 GDPs. FYI Kenyans marry anyone because we are receptive of all cultures, not because Kenyan women like Nigerian men. Refer to Barack Obama Snr. |

genieluv: I enjoy reading your links and you do have a good points. Yes, I visited your links. What did i gained from this? I reinfirmed the notion that Tiv expanded from Swem hills in Cameroon. The Congo evidence is not widely supported. Out of the plethora of authors, only a very few confirmed that they asre indeed fom Congo. "Abraham (1934: 5) concluded that the Tiv were “real Bantu” suggested that Tivs migrated from Congo." Abraham based his description by selecting 67 Tiv words that he thought sound similar to Nyaza of Congo. Notice the use of "real bantu". The theory that they came from Cameroon is more supportred by their oral and archeology tyraditions than the theory that they came from Congo. Also Congo is a huge place stretching from Southern africa to Northern Africa and to Eastern Africa. The language he was referencing is spoken in a region all the way South near Zambia. The Congo evidence is so narrow and it's not as supported. Even this similarity does not change the fact that they are Bantoid. Bantoid languages have narrow similarities with Bantu, I've already established that. This is already touched on by Muafrika2. But they are classified as Bantoid and not Bantu by scientists for a reason right? Another point we are having a misunderstanding is the issue of Tiv expansion and their expansionist nature.I completely get it. Personally, that story of "Tivization" is very similar to "Hausanization" currently going on. ***It's unfortunate i accused your post of being too lengthy, while mine is no differentIt's fine. |

Muafrika2:Very interesting. Bantoid languages have some similarities with Bantu languages. The Noun structures of Bantoid languages are different from Bantu, but a few very basic vocabularies have some similarities. Are all Bantu languages comprehend able in spoken form? How much of this can you understand? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j4Sd9ayp-Co |

genieluv:Kenya has man UN offices so there are averagely more foreigners(whites) than any other African country, say apart from South Africa. Also Kenya has a lot of tourists, so you will find a lot of non blacks when you walk on the streets but thats just that. Whites do not control the Kenyan economy. There is a sizeable number of Kenyan whites but they are mostly farmers or just exist like normal Kenyans. And yes they are Kenyan and feel Kenyan, so dont try to be a racist cunt. Some have been here since the 1800s so they are 100% African. Kenya is also a civilised African country and people dont have backward racist mindsets. Kenya does receive a sizeable number of immigrants mostly from Italy, so there is a growing number of Kenyan Italians, mostly at the coast, but most of them just love the country. There are some others who come from other countries like Norway, Canada etc and settle here. Its a nice country we welcome all. No one in their right mind would immigrate to Nigeria tbh Yes Indians are in Kenya and they are not foreigners, actually they are Kenyan Asians because not everyone who looks Indian is from India, there are also Pakis . They do not have much influence of Kenyan cities, Blacks are the majority in Kenya and have the most influence. There are many malls here, and people you will see there are blacks, meaning they can afford and they are not as hopeless as 6868 tries to portray here. Kenya is mostly black controlled, And yes the most patriotic Kenyan song was sang by him. so dont try to be racist. Calling a person foreigner just because he is not black african is not cool https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fBmu0BPYfkI

genieluv:I do not know if it is a good or a bad thing , but many Kenyans dont realise the number of immigrants moving into Kenya. Like a huge chunk of ex Zimbabwe whites moved to Kenya, see a pround Kenyan Norwegian in that screenshot, and a good number of Boers are shifting base. SA is too hostile I hear. And from this video is a Kenyan American, busy singing in Swahili. Tbh I dont know if it is a good or a bad thing. But I believe it shows anyone can live anywhere in the world. Why create borders for humans. I believe anyone should live anywhere, well except the Mexicans an Nigerians https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D1hdXTuZxrI

TayserMahiri: Yes, it's under control. As more oil and gas pipeline comes up, improvement in Agriculture, security is also improving, industries are also increasing despite power challenges etc. We expect things to get better since this are all indicators that demand for forex will reduce over time and industries will start exporting thing we use to import. |
Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by iblawi(m): 6:38am On Jun 01, 2017 |
Nev92: You really need to learn economics dear. Oil contribute only 11-18% of Nigeria's economy. Google is your friend bro. Agriculture, telecommunications, etc contribute more. Oil is the major source of forex to Nigeria and it's also the major source of government revenue. Economy is a completely different thing. |
Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by PissedYagami(m): 6:42am On Jun 01, 2017 |
iblawi:11 to 18% that is directly. Then there is indirectly, got to be bigger. Thats why all oil economies have higher gdp per capita than non oil economies |
Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by freshest4live: 6:49am On Jun 01, 2017 |
PissedYagami:Apart from oil the Telecommunication sector is huge in Nigeria, same with Agriculture and Banking. Lagos state has no oil, yet it is higher in GDP than Kenya alone. There are other aspects such as the fashion industry( Germans too are now beginning to love and patronize it). Lagos is Africa's economic and business hub, All of these have little or nothing to do with oil. Note that shamefully Nigeria also imports refined crude. Oil is not everything in Nigeria. You can't compare your Agriculture and Telecommunication, or Entertainment to ours. Nigeria alongside Kenya and Southafrica dominate the ICT sector in Africa, and there are so many entrepreneurs in Nigeria. We have one of the highest number of women entrepreneurs as well, if not the highest. Forget it, oil or no oil you can't compare Kenya to Nigeria. Angola has oil afterall. |
Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by iblawi(m): 6:55am On Jun 01, 2017 |
PissedYagami: For Both direct and indirect. Do people buy more fuel than what they eat? About 100 million active internet subscribers plus o over 150 million active telephone lines, communication satellites, etc for telecommunications sector. Transportation sector, culture and entertainment, industries, etc. |

Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by iblawi(m): 7:03am On Jun 01, 2017 |
PissedYagami: Oil would contribute more when we start refining every oil we use locally and even start exporting by 2019. Our current refining capacity is too low compared to our demand. |
