TheRealestGuy: I will ignore all your abuses and stay on point. Can you tell me clearly why the south east needs a special development commission? Will it be fair for the south west, north west and north central to also propose a similar development commission? If all regions have a special development commission, how will it be funded without affecting the revenue of the three constitutionally recognized arms of government? 6 Likes |

SuperS1Panther: This is just the exact reason why the devilish Nigerian FG headed by the Fulani mafia abolished the teaching of history in secondary schools: to ensure people like you have no idea of the atrocities committed by Nigeria in the name of oil. Did you know that the £20 was paid to all bank account holders of Igbo origin irrespective of how much you had before in the same account? That is a big injustice that will forever haunt this country... Do you know that Igbo people had their lands in various states stolen from them during the war, the land grabbers never relinquished those lands after the war... You definitely have zilch idea of the monumental tragedies that was orchestrated against the Igbos, how can you when you know nothing of your history... I could go on and on but...I'm at work... You know nothing Mr. 1 Like 1 Share |

tinsel:Nwa Bingo, I was not born when the war was fought, but I've read enough history books about it than you could ever get to read before you kick the bucket & end the misery once and for all. I dont make boast on an anonimous online forum like nairaland, but I've enough assets at my age that anybody should be proud of. I've several sources of income & even earn in dollars right here in Nigeria, and I've studied to the highest level. So, Agadi na agwo ofe, jee rikalata otu ebe. I've files on my table waiting for my attention. Good Day! 1 Like 1 Share |

If you have money in the bank, your money will still be in the account if you like go for 20years and come back afterwards. Awo through FG paid each of £20 and not the amount in the bank 2 Likes |

SuperS1Panther: I was unapologetically for the lagos bill and was dissapointed no less when it was thrown out due to petty politics. Anthony village, kosofe is forever gonn be a place i call home. That being said, several people from different parts of the country could come up with arguments against the 'special status' bill. One of them being, lagos is already strategically advantaged as a result of its location, infrastructures which alongside good governance has translated into income generation that other states can only dream of. This bill on the other hand, besides the 'an eye for an eye' politics, has almost no arguments against it. Everyone is very much aware of how infrastructurally disadvantaged the south east is. Except we are just being petty, the region really does require urgent federal attention which in the long run is a good thing for the country as a whole. A development commision is something any region of the country in need of urgent intervention could decide to come up with in the future. This 'nay' sets a precedent 2 Likes |

austinvsb1: The 'nay' for the Lagos Bill set the precedent. What makes the Bill necessary? How has SE been marginalised that SW and NC has not been marginalised? Blackmailing other region with Biafra or secession will not work because we know they CAN NEVER try it again. hey should explain the objective of the Bill and what the Commission is meant to achieve. Have they been deprived of their normal Allocation? WHat have they been doing with it? 7 Likes |

sekundosekundo: Another lie from the pit of hell? How was the account frozen? You people can be repeating your lies to yourselves but not in Public. It is your South East senators who colluded with the North to reject the bill. seunmsg: Your first question is the only one I'm entitled to answer and it's right there in the quoted post as post script... The second question is none of my business as each region can agitate if the have valid and legitimate reasons... The third question, from whence does the money for NEDC come? Doesn't it affect all arms of the FG? You see there can never be positive peace without equality and justice... |
