Take a look at the proposed system yourself, tell me if implemented, if it will not be better than present?

There shall be National Legislatures for each Nation that make up the State of Biafra.

(a) The Powers of the National Legislature shall devolve from the Nation of Biafra and guaranteed by the Parliament of Biafra.
(b) The head of each National Legislature and by virtue, head of government business pertaining to that region, shall be called the Premier, who will be elected by members of the respective National Legislature who will in turn be elected by the people in a party based national elections.
(c) There will be a National Legislature for each Nation that makes up Biafra, for example the Igala National Legislature.
(d) The National Legislatures shall have 100% control over all natural resources found within its boundaries.
(e) National Legislatures shall have full financial/fiscal autonomy pertaining to the internal workings of that nation.
(f) The National Legislature shall have full right to exercise fiscal autonomy over the economic affairs of the region.
(g) The National Legislatures shall have the Right to Self Determination. This right shall be exercised through a Referendum of the people in an election. If 2/3 of the people of a particular Nation are in support and agrees to leave then they MUST be allowed to exit the union peacefully. Such a Referendum shall be ratified by the State of Biafra Parliament for formality sake.
(h) The National Legislature shall have the powers to break away from the union and exist independently from the State of Biafra or they can vote to join with another nation to become one larger Legislature.

It is a generally acceptable fact to all who have visited Bonny Island that two language exist side by side there. First, Ibani Egere which is an ancestral language understood by a few and Igbo a widely spoken language understood by many and used as a medium of communication.

I've been following this thread keenly because of the level of wisdom shown so far by both the OP and most of those who commented.

I'm a Biafran from Enugu state and I'll never, I repeat, I'll never support the forceful inclusion of any tribe into Biafra. Every tribe must have equal voice in the scheme of things. As one person rightly pointed out earlier on this thread, one cannot be termed a "minority" in his/her own land. That term "minority" is part of the evil that follows the creation of Nigeria.

If a round table talk is the basis on which people decide their destiny, it so easy to understand that those not comfortable with the new Biafra will not encounter any difficulty opting out.

This is why I will thank Yoruba people to stay off Biafra issues. There are thousands of paid impostors out there who bear SE/SS names just to slip in confusion amongst brothers

you have to come down to Delta and meeting you will not change my mind and that of Delta state on Biafra. Ijaws, Uhrobo and Itsekiri have all release statements rejecting Biafra,so Delta is out.

2. I am making conscious and personal efforts to get Abuans to support Biafra 100% as well as others around me because without prejudice and any bias, I have seen the good in it.

Whether you forcefully include them or not is none of my business, my problem is the act of mentioning Yoruba in derision on here. If you go through my various posts, you would note that I've had no problem exchanging words with your folks, Hausa/Fulani, Ijaws, even the Binis etc, I don't care whoever it is, just don't insult my tribe.

What are the lies? That the Igbo's treated the south south badly when the eastern region government was located in Enugu or that the Igbo's were appointed into all position of government or what? You are an Igbo man claiming an Ijaw man.
