Here is what I got..... (originally reported in French but I had to quickly translate with the help of a translator) FC Nantes. Awaziem et Kayembe en échange de Conceição (English: cf. Nantes. awaziem and kayembe in Exchange for conceição) FC Nantes and FC Porto have reached an agreement for the transfer of Sergio Conceição. In addition to a sum of money, the Canaris recover two players, a Nigerian central defender, Chidozie Awaziem, and a Belgian international, Joris Kayembe. FC Nantes and FC Porto have reached an agreement for the transfer of Sergio Conceição. This one should be endorsed at the beginning of the week with the signature of the documents by the different protagonists. The Portuguese coach will join his club of heart and leave FC Nantes, where he had extended his contract until 2020, just a month ago. According to Portuguese sources close to the file, FC Nantes should recover around three million euros. It should also accommodate two players in the scales. It is Chidozie Awaziem, a 20-year-old Nigerian central defender (1m89, 82kg), who essentially evolved with the Dragons reserve (D2 Portuguese) this season. The player is loaned for one year with a call option at 12 million euros. FC Porto also drops Joris Kayembe, a 22-year-old left-winger. Belgian international, he was successively loaned to Arouca and Rio Ave (D1 Portuguese), where he played 22 games (2 goals) in 2016. The best scorer of the reserve this season (6 goals) makes, meanwhile, The object of a final transfer. The duration of the contract is not yet known. Mujtahida:Against Algeria, he was pretty solid. He made some fine saves which is expected of any good goal keeper and he managed to command his penalty area and distributed the ball well . This set the tone for the team and helped us dominate the possession and the game for a long period. Against Egypt in Alexandria, he was quite solid. The goal the Egyptians scored was not his fault as the ball went through the legs to Efe Ambrose which caused a deflection. Sorry, I don't seem to understand this panic attack you're spreading about his game. |

Humility017: Nigeria is not England and yes England on occasion calls players from the championship to the 3 Lions. However, the comparison lacks merit Aluko was in the premiership when he was called to play for Nigeria. Played 7 games and two goals. Players can choose the championship over the EPL if they feel it would give them more options and progression. For instance Gayle left Crystal palace for Newcastle so also did Ritchie. Fulham narrowly missed promotion to the EPL otherwise Aluko would be in the premiership now. There are some things that are open secrets but not public media exposed for fear of litigation. But I think most people in this forum or at least those in the know understand what happened. One problem English orientated Nigerian players have is a lack of understanding of the settlement mentality and gratuity expectation that has always pervaded the national team camp. These simply do not understand that and would probably say no unceremoniously much to the displeasure of our shameless NFF officials. |

I discovered that you have consistently defended him. I am not spreading panic. I have no preference among the three goalkeeper currently in camp. I just pray Ikeme overcomes his injuries. 1 Like |

Alampasu is not courtious or D Gea who had it so good with club like Madrid and man Utd at a very young age not like Alampasu who is trying to find his feet at lowly third division. 1 Like |

Mujtahida: Truth is that when people hold a perspective about a person , they over analyse every move the person makes. Before the game against Algeria, there was a panic wave about Akpeyi being in goal, this greatly influced the perspective people wanted to associate with him to suit their narrative. Between Ezenwa, Akpeyi and Alampasu, Akpeyi will start every day of the week. 1 Like |

Icon4s:Akpeyi is marginally just above the others. But the issue of best or no best or who among them should man the sticks was not why I weighed in on the discussion but the issue of his composure. Goldfish80 said that suddenly people are panicking whenever Akpeyi's name is mentioned and I pointed out that Akpeyi is the one that doesn't inspire confidence and the fans pick up the vibes from him. He just might do great If only he'd be more confident. For now I don't have any problems with him manning the post |

Youth football can really be funny, who would believe orji okonkwo would grow this fast even past his peers roughly two years after that U17 world cup? He wasn't really an integral part of that squad but today, he is head and shoulders above every member of that team bar Awaziem (who left camp before the torney) SCORENigeria has yet again scooped that Serie A club Bologna have turned down a seven million Euros bid from Inter Milan for shinning Nigeria youngster Orji Okonkwo. Okonkwo, 19, made nine league appearances for Bologna on his season in Europe and provided the assist for his team’s opening goal at champions Juventus while playing the entire game on the final day of the Serie A. Nigeria Olympic star Sadiq Umar, on loan from Roma, made seven appearances for the same team. Bolonga finished 15 on the Serie A table, nine points clear of the relegated Empoli. “Bologna have turned down a massive offer of about seven million Euros by Inter Milan for Orji,” a top source close to the player’s agent informed only SCORENigeria “They have so much trust and hope in the boy as they see him as the future of the club and that is why they do not want to sell.” Okonkwo has featured for Nigeria U17 and U20 teams and was a key member of the Golden Eaglets team who won the 2015 FIFA U17 World Cup in Chile in style. He also caught the eye at the recent U19 Viareggio Tournament. Orji Okonkwo has caught the eye after five-star displays against the likes of Juventus and AC Milan this past season 1 Like |

About Akpeyi, there is a reason why he does not inspire confidence. He is so panicky when he plays, he flaps at crosses. It was obvious in the Olympics, against Algeria, he was shaky too. Against Senegal, one of his flaps led to a goal. I feel like the three goalkeepers are not the best we have. Daniel was much better than Akpeyi in the Olympics. On the local front, we can also get at least one that is better than Akpeyi. Nwokolor should be tried out as well. Whilst we are trying to improve other positions, we are not trying to improve our goalkeepers. 2 Likes |
