Nantes Set To Announce The Signing Of Newly Capped Super Eagles Defender French Ligue 1 club Nantes are on the verge of announcing the signing of Nigeria international Chidozie Awaziem. Ouest France says the central defender will be used as makeweight in the deal taking Nantes manager Sergio Conceiçao to Porto, with the Nigerian moving in the opposite direction. Awaziem is expected to join Nantes on a season-long loan, with an obligation to purchase the 20-year-old at the end of the 2017-2018 season for 12 million euros inserted into the deal. The young center back has plied his trade at Porto since he started his professional career, and has accumulated 13 appearances for the first team, scoring one goal. Chidozie Awaziem's solitary cap for the Nigerian senior team was against Togo three days ago. Igho Kingsley Photo Credit : Instagram.com 1 Like

Arsenal Starlet Alex Iwobi Vows To Go Full Throttle In World Cup Season Nigeria international Alex Iwobi is prepared to go full-throttle when the new season begins on August 12, 2017. The Hale End Academy product is aware that he has to impress Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger when pre-season training starts next month as he lost his spot in the first team in the final three months of the 2016-2017 campaign. “I would be lying if I said I wasn’t disappointed not to be playing as much but as long as the team is going well then I can understand,” Iwobi told the online edition of The Sun . “But I want to get myself back in the team. That is the aim of any young player. “I need to work hard in training, work hard in pre-season and hopefully I’ll start next season with a bang.” At the end of the season, Iwobi could be representing Nigeria in a major tournament for the first time in his career if the Super Eagles qualify for the 2018 World Cup in Russia. The 21-year-old claimed two assists in Nigeria's 3-0 rout of Togo in an international friendly on June 1. **Igho Kingsley Photo Credit : arsenal.com Source: http://allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=23291 1 Like |

My brother, I am not a hater here but there's no doubt in my mind that the system is rigged to favor Real Madrid (both the UCL and La Liga). Let's take the Bayern Munich game for instance: in the first game, a Bayern player was unjustily sent off. And in the second game, again, once Bayern got into the game, another player was unjustly sent off again! But even with a man down, Bayern was on course to win the game when both the ref and his assistant became mysteriously blind, and begin to allow clearly offside goals to stand. Not once but two clear offside goals!! And you call that just a common human error? Yea right! Gosh, even the draws during the knockout stages always favor Real....every year! O pari BascoVanVeli: |

Desire For British Passport Scuppers Iheanacho Move To PSG, Borussia Dortmund Manchester City striker Kelechi Iheanacho will turn down offers from clubs not based in the United Kingdom in the summer transfer window, amid strong speculations linking him with a departure from the Etihad Stadium. As exclusively revealed by allnigeriasoccer.com , Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain are plotting a move for the Nigeria wonderkid, but the 20-year-old wants to remain in England as he becomes eligible for a British passport in the next two years. ''He has been in England for the last three years and is two years away from getting his UK citizenship," a source told ESPN. "There is no point in moving outside England right now." West Ham are thought to be in pole position to secure the signature of Iheanacho should he depart City. **Ifeanyi Emmanuel Source: http://allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=23294 1 Like |

So,if you are made the coach you will start Ajagun ahead of any of these guys ? This is probably why another Onigbinde will never coach a Nigerian team again. Why don't you invite Azeeze,Awoniyi and Gbolahan and start them. 3 Likes |

#CountdownToBattleOfUyo continues..... #OperationBBB (Operation Bang Bafana Bafana) --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- KHUNE EXPECTS A TOTALLY DIFFERENT BALL GAME WHEN BAFANA BAFANA FACE NIGERIA By Ernest Makhaya South Africa faces a stern test in Uyo next week, but Khune feels the team will be ready to match the Super Eagles pound for pound Kaizer Chiefs and Bafana Bafana goalkeeper Itumeleng Khune is aware that their upcoming game against Nigeria will be tough as always given the big-name players Gernot Rohr has at his disposal. The two sides will lock horns in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon) qualifier in Uyo next week with history firmly against the South Africans, Khune expects a totally different ball game. The 29-year-old is of the view that the standard of South African football has improved tremendously to match that of Nigeria, who have not lost to Bafana in official matches. “We respect Nigeria, they’ve beaten us many times before and have big-name players, but it will be a different ball game this time round," Khune told The Star newspaper. “I also believe our standard has improved, and we have players who will want to impress our coach. It will be difficult, but we are looking forward to the game. I enjoy and work well under pressure,” added Khune. Bafana managed to steal two points off the Super Eagles over two legs the last time these two nations met in Afcon qualifying matches. However, the South Africans have not beaten their Nigerian opponents in official matches, with their only win coming in an international friendly 13 years ago. The good news for Bafana is that they will be coached by Stuart Baxter, who remains the only manager to lead Bafana to victory over the 2013 African champions. TheSuperNerd: Which one be behave? I talk facts, e sim behave. If Etebor is that good as a attacking midfielder, why is he not played in that position in his club instantaneously. Without National team, Etebor can never smell Europe. From NPL to Europe Ajagun has performed wonderfully well in that ATM role. For an African to be played in that role constantly, is not beans na. Can those players play attacking midfield, LW, RW, CMF and DMF etcetera effectively than Abdul Ajagun? I remembered he ones played as a RB in his club. If you know something, talk am mo we hear? About the library thing, i am not understanding. |

Yea, that's exactly my observations as well. And I did make the point that Zidane totally outclassed and out coached Allegri yesterday. The tactics employed by Zidane in the second half totally confused Juve and Allegri. To me, the coaching made a big difference yesterday., O pari BascoVanVeli: 1 Like |

China : Ighalo Misses Penalty As Changchun , Guizhou Draw By James Agberebi Super Eagles striker Odion Ighalo, who has been left out of the Nigeria squad to face South Africa in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Saturday, missed from the penalty spot in his club Changchun Yatai’s 1-1 home draw against nine-man Guizhou Hengfeng in the Chinese Super League on Sunday, Completesportsnigeria.com reports. Former Everton striker Nikica Jelavic gave Guizhou Hengfeng the lead in the first minute of the game. Guizhou were reduced to 10 men following a straight red card shown to Pengfei Han. Changchun had a chance to level the score when they were awarded a 28th minute penalty which Ighalo failed to convert. The one-man advantage eventually paid off for Changchun as Long Tan made it 1-1 in the 50th minute. Guizhou had another player sent off in the 90th minute as Boyang Su received his second yellow card. The draw leaves Changchun in 13th position on nine points in the 16-team league table, one point above the drop zone. Ighalo has scored two goals in 10 CSL appearances for Changchun so far. AbdulJaleel Ajagun is a very good player. I have followed him since his days at Dolphins (now Merged with Sharks to form Rivers Utd) and his U-17 days. A really good no.10. And yes it is uncommon to have an African player featuring as a no.10 in one of Europe's top 7-10 leagues.... (Iwobi have also featured a few times as Arsenal's no.10 before they switched to their Current 3-4-3)....... With That Ajagun's talents must be commended but ehmmmmm.... saying outrightly that he is better than Etebo is a faux pas. Etebo is a super versatile Player... far more super versatile than Ajagun. Etebo plays each role he is given to almost classic perfection and with remarkable Distinction... add to the fact that he is a super goalscorer too and assists-maker when played up-top.... Egbon Forgiveness... how you go understand the library thing eh? In fact, if you are interested, I will tell Yara Yara to send a driver to come get you and bring you to my main labs complex.... I am not in the library section of the thread's house today... I like Ajagun... I like the Obuh boys... but you see.... I wouldn't wanna put him in a class of his own over Etebo.... you and I know Etebo is something else. Ajagun is a wonderful talent. A very good player but abeg.... not better than Etebo or some players reeled out already in the AMF role of the Super Eagles. Ajagun's versatility is also noted but Etebo trumps him in all-round versatility. #Fact. Like I said... I no wan go deeply extensive into this matter.... Just understand that somehow out of the blues... Ajagun can be invited... he may yet get his chance... so don't give up or rule it out just yet... His time can still come. forgiveness: |

Dutch Club ADO Den Haag Celebrate International Debut Of Their Number One Talent Ebuehi Dutch Eredivisie side ADO Den Haag were delighted after Tyronne Ebuehi made his international debut for the Super Eagles, though he is eligible to represent the Netherlands. The right wing-back first showed off his skills in a practice game against Corsica on May 26, before he was handed a debut by manager Gernot Rohr in the second half of Nigeria's 3-0 win over Togo on Thursday, June 1. ''ADO Den Haag defender Tyronne Ebuehi has played his first game for Nigeria. He was in action during the practice match against Togo. That duel was won 3-0 by Nigeria,'' ADO Den Haag wrote on their official website. ''On June 9, Nigeria will be back in action for the qualification of the 2019 African Cup of Nations. The opponent is South Africa''. The 21-year-old Ebuehi will become cap-tied to Nigeria if he features against South Africa in six days time. He was recently named ADO Den Haag's number one talent by the Dutch press on the back of his performances last season. **Igho Kingsley Source: http://allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=23297 1 Like |

Concerning this Ajagun stuff, Coaches has their preferences and what matters most is result. If Rohr decides to call all npfl players leaving all European based uncalled, as far as he keeps winning, critics is not 100% justified but if a team is lacking in one department and a certain player is Manning marvelously for club in dat same wing, critics re justified fully. I don't tink Ajagun is much better that anyone in camp ryt now, let him keep improving beyond reasonable doubt, he 'll be invited. Orji okonkwor is good sha, but I still prefer osimeh |

Leicester Star Musa, Shehu Insist On Fasting For AFCON Qualifier, Nigeria Coach Disagrees -Report Eagles stars Ahmed Musa and Shehu Abdullahi have insisted on observing the Muslim Ramadan fasting for the upcoming AFCON qualifier against South Africa despite pleas by coach Gernot Rohr they should at least defer it. Alhassan Ibrahim ‘Muazzam’ and fresh call-up Moroof Youssef of Zamalek are the other players on the 23-man squad who will insist on the Ramadan fast. A team official specially informed SCORENigeria Ahmed Musa and Shehu fasted during the friendly against Togo in Paris and an unhappy Rohr hauled them off after the first half. Interestingly, Ahmed Musa still scored twice within the first 17 minutes to give the Eagles a healthy lead. Both players are expected to start against South Africa on June 10 in Uyo, but they may well have limited game time because Rohr does not expect them to give their best as a result of the fast. **Ifeanyi Emmanuel Source: http://allnigeriasoccer.com/read_news.php?nid=23290 1 Like |
