locodemy: Flesh and blood did not reveal this to you. This is a spiritual revelation. They wanted to come tell us what they did with the proceeds of the dufil prima deal but had to shift it because of the MRS visit. My guess is either way given what i have read and heard from pple on the exchange. 1. Since its an asset disposal, they might decide to pay shareholders interimdividend since asset disposal is not affected by the policy on retained profit - its not a profit nor a loss 2. They might decide to use the money to nil off the accumulated loss position and make the company viable for dividend payment again. I am only wondering how much was paid and other conditions attached to the sale. Anybody with that info should kindly help out. But if its the dangote i know, all the flour used in producing indomie henceforth will come from dangote flour. Either way, he must give me 20m+ before july ending. Gotta do something with that money urgently. |

The nation’s equity market is again in a dicey situation that calls for cautious trading, as the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE) composite All Share Index broke-out the 2016 strong resistant level of 31,071.25 basis points on a huge volume of trade to attain a new 52-week high of 31,371.63, reflecting the strong demand for stocks. locodemy:though I offloaded some of my fcmb, I still believe that fcmb can't be trading below fidelity, if they release a good 2nd qtr result. However, all things being equal, I think that diamond should be leading the two |

I just learnt something now as i am still on course.I have been momouring asking myself why will fidelity and diamond rise at the same time to overtake fcmb,i discovered if such a competition is not seen among these 3 banks,it will be difficult for their prices to move.I am not even bothered which one gets to 2.00 first but i am sure the competition will take the 3 of them above 2.00 because one must surely lead in this category. These 3 may be the best banks to reward shareholders in the year 2017. 1 Like |

mendes911: Dont worry about him. He is an indicator in the opposite direction. If he endorses a stock, sell it if you have any in your portfolio. If he castigates a stock, buy it, its a sign of immediate appreciation in price. Review his past posts for concurrence and confirmation. Every brother is important here. In their own way. |

locodemy:all things being equal diamond is their leader. It used to hover around half of fisrtbank price . Check their history. Diamond was selling around N20 while first bank N40 in 2007 and N4 while first bank N8 in 2015. Beloved, infact as long as diamond is concerned, first bank is my measuring yardstick. As for fcmb it was around N14 in 2007 and around 2-3 in 2015 1 Like |

veecovee: The leader will be determined by earnings.Hopefully,Diamond may lead because of low OS when compare to the other two and also a higher earning.I didnt pick it due to their poor dividend history.I still believe fcmb will really wrestle with Diamond for a long time before it becomes the winner. What i need now is good result with a good bottom line. |

locodemy:FCMB 1.36 Fidelity 1.30 The way GTB refuse to allow Stanbic bank to cross and stay in front. The same way FCMB will not allow Fidelity bank to cross and lead them Watch out for part two tomorrow, upon the full bid of fidelity by the end of the day FCMB will continue to stay at front. But I like the competition because the three bank ( FCMB, Fidelity and Diamond) will continue to move front as long as the competition last. On Dangote flour, its a good stock but it rally might be toward ending of the month/next month, turn by turn. Zenith bank is one bank that keep surprising me, I was expecting their price to reach #30 by now, but I really don't know what is wrong with them, or are they waiting for ACCESS bank and FBNH to come close before the move, UACN is another good stock at its current price waiting for passengers like Dangote flour, flour mill has taken off and still have enough fuel to reach #30. SKYE bank has woken up looking for passenger, but am afraid whether they will not do hand over on the road, and go back to car park, but I personal want them to move forward which the might sustain this time around. |
