Well said O jare.... ur head dey dia.... cheesy

This is #PowerOfNaija at work biko.....

Solanke has chosen the most crucial stage of the competition to strike the real blows... he has four goals now at the U-20s.... Fine player indeed.

Ojo impressing... Lookman doing great things...

Tomori rock solid.... Ejaria also when given his chance have done his bits.

Abeg..... England... we say thank you for letting us see these lads in action against their Peers in South Korea... thank you for the sponsorship..... grin

We will take it from here now.... after the final with that exciting new generation of Venezuelan jogo bonito youngsters.... grin

Ehmmmmm.... True... all will not play for us.... but ehmmmmm... we may yet get two or three of them or maybe just one... anyhow shaa.... time will tell.

lol but I seriously hope they don't win this tournament

Teslim Balogun was our first recognized player to play over seas. I still know of one George Chiedozie that was playing in England in the early 80s. I think I saw him play.

Keshi I think was among the first of the modern era. Samuel Okwaraji was also a foreign player as at 1988. Etim Esin too as at 1987.
Yea u are right but d name is John Chiedozie, also an halfcast of 1980 nations cup squad Tunji Banjo who came all d way from England.

Another great professional of Nigeria descent was Remi Moses of Manchester United(80-89) but couldn't represent Nigeria,Paul Ince learnt a lot from Remi Moses.

We have a lot of them but Keshi remained an Icon who started from grassroots and make it to d top,as i said Keshi was d first Nigerian to grace European cup final(Anderlecht vs Sampdoria)not even Finidi or Kanu as a lot believe but Big Boss Okechucwu Stephen Keshi

But why naa? cheesy

because of bragging rights? or because of Future reference points to the win in future possible debates by Forgiveness? wink Looolll

....because of possible statements like, "Wetin Mikel, Iheanacho, Success, Yahaya, Adepoju, Siasia, Odiaka and many more no fit do at Fifa U-20s.. Solanke and co don do am...." cheesy Something like that? Loooolllll

Naaah.... if they win... it's cool really.... cheesy

But That Venezuelan Team is wicked oooo.... It could easily have been Uruguay in the final sef... but the two south american teams have been pretty outstanding that anyone could have won.

England will be playing the best attacking side of the tournament.... so it will be tough. But not impossible for England to win...

Personally.... I see this new wave of Venezuelan football led by penaranda, Cordova, Soteldo and co sweeping to the title.... but never say never with England Nigeria's extension.... wink

my possible XI akpeyi, shehu, ekong, omeruo, elderson, onazi, ndidi, etebo, kayode, iwobi, iheanacho

if things are going very well eg. 3 or 4 goals up before 2nd half then tyrone for shehu, muazzem for etebo, osimhen for iwobi to come on and score his debut goal grin wink

if we are leading by a slim margin with a few minutes to go ogu for onazi , musa for kayode, mikel or maroof for iwobi

if God forbid we are trailing then muazzem for onazi, onyekuru for iwobi, musa for shehu to throw everything and the kitchen sink at them

Hmmmmm...... you gat a point dia finally ooo..... *thinking*

Well.... let's see how things go.

If they all choose to play for England then I can only wish them the best. But England should be thankful to the #PowerOfNaija.... cheesy without Naija blood, dem for no near quarters sef....

....more than 90% of their goals and assists have been Nigerian-bloods-inspired....

Where is Forgiveness sef?? It is in moments like this, We see his big grins..... but truly Solanke came to the party today.... really deserving of that no.10 jersey. He is one player I hope will turn out for The Super Eagles and not England.... But beware of Penaranda's Venezuela oooo... England have that big hurdle to cross if they must lift their first Fifa title at any level since 1966.

Forgiveness oooo.... food is ready darling.... wink

Besides, I have never met one reasonable Ngwa person and I have met more than enough. Only Ngwa people have nice things to say about Ngwa people

History remembers Arochukwu as renowned slave traders and the most formidable opponents the British encountered in the East, nothing much on Ngwa people aside cannibalism.

Now that you know, I suppose we can return to the football.

History will always remember the great Kingdom of Arochukwu and of course Ohafia the warriors but where are those two today compared to Ngwa land?

Not every ngwa man is short, BTW, their women boast of the finest skin tone in Sub-Saharan Africa. U can mistake an extremely light skinned Ngwan for a mulato. Ngwa get light skinned women like helele.

Rohr – Alhassan Ibrahim “Mu’azam ” Has Quality That’s Why He’s In The Team

Coach of the Super Eagles of Nigeria Gernot Rohr has praised the quality of Akwa United forward Alhassan Ibrahim, insisting that he merit been in the team based on his talent.

Mu’azam like the lanky forward is popularly called is the only outfiled player who is a home based player in the team after the coach dropped the MFM duo of Sikiru Olatubosun and Stephen Odey when the squad was pruned down.

According to Rohr, Mu’azam who has nine goals for Akwa United this season in the Nigeria senior national team did enough in training to make the squad for the game against South Africa this Saturday.

Despite claims by some people that the forward was kept in the team due to the fact that he plays for Akwa United of Uyo where the game will be played, Rohr insist he is in the team based on merit.

” He did well in training. He’s here because he has the quality not because he plays for Akwa United. He has a bright future”, Rohr said at the pre match conference.

Chelsea forward Diego Costa has claimed that he has been informed by Antonio Conte that he is not wanted at Chelsea next season.

If he had pre-informed Mikel this way I'm sure Mikel would have left.. But all the same it's good this way instead of doing what he did to Mikel
