I don't know maybe their clothes make them look huge. Like this one here for our ICT minister and yours, there is a big difference. I happen to maintain a young look, I guess thanks to my telomeres but the snap is a little old, and I've observed many Kenyans tend to be more mature than the average African in the way they express themselves. Could be the tough education system where one starts learning Swahili and English on top of their native language on the very first day, and a very demanding curriculum.

Our current government EPRDF is the collection of TPLF, Amhara people liberation front , Oromo people liberation front and other Ethiopians people liberation fronts. Ethiopia is funny, not a complaint? Kenyans been complaining since the project began, that it too expensive, that the Ethiopian one is cheaper yet electrified etc. In fact, the project is a major rallying call for the opposition, and if the current government is not careful could be defeated in the upcoming August elections for that reason. They say it was too expensive due to corruption and they cite your railway.

We don't speak the same dialects. Amharegn and Tigragn are two different languages, even if they have some similarities. I've recently been thinking if Habesha is just a wrong propaganda word.

In the past, almost all the ruling class were Amharas or Amharanized people. But the ordinary Amharas had suffered the same as other ethnic groups. During Oromos population movement from mid 16th to early 18th century, they had committed horrible atrocities against Abyssinians(Amharas and Tigrays) and other peoples. During Zemene Mesafint(Era of prince from 1769-1855), it was the Yejju Oromos who dominated Abyssinian without being emperor. It was mainly during emperor Menelik II expansion that the Oromos were oppressed. But almost all of Menelik army were made of Oromos themselves. Even it's said that Menelik was half Oromo. Most of the high officials after 18th century were mixs of Oromo or pure Oromo. Emperor Haile Selassie was 50% Oromo, 25% Gurage and 25% Amhara. But most of those mixes had been Amharanized.

The Oromos aren't dominating now. The ordinary Tigrays aren't even dominating. The elites are Tigrays, but most of the ordinary Tigrays are suffering just like others.
