You are in Nairaland. Does Nigeria interest you this much?

blah blah blah, names don't play football anymore, the fact that our coach called players you don't know doesn't mean my team is weak. concentrate on your strong super eagles and support them to qualify because it's been long.

I didn't understand the words. Are you trying to say "Baria" in your second word? If so, then it means "slave or black slave".
Anytime i use ethiopian airline.
At the end, the captain ( or who ever it is) usually says manchan barara.
I'm thinking it means safe trip/journey??

Details Of Eagles Close Door Session – Alampasu Impresses , Ogu Pushing To Start

The training session of the Super Eagles of Nigeria which was held behind close doors wasn’t entirely closed to Owngoalnigeria.com eagle eyed correspondent Osas Mahawi.

According to Mahawi the session had two different sections, one being tactical and the other a two a-side game played under the watchful eyes of coach Gernot Rohr.

As customary shooting practice was held after the session with Alampasu distinguishing himself between the stick with fine reflexes, just like he did during the training game and tactical drills.

John Ogu is still one of the top performers in training, and could edge Oghenekaro Etebo in the battle for a spot in the midfield of the team ahead of Saturday’s game against South Africa.

The possibles which we won’t reveal did drills with the coach against players who are not guaranteed to start, with emphasis more on how to attack, defend and also goal scoring.

They will have their final session today before the coach will name his squad, although not much changes if any at all is expected from the line up published by this portal yesterday.

You should have spelled it "melkam berera". It means like you said, "safe/great flight".

If I ask, have you been to Ethiopia?

Everyone's projected line up seems to take it for granted that Akpeyi would be the goalkeeper, but I won't be surprised if we see Ezenwa in goal tomorrow. I know that Akpeyi seems to have won the #2 spot but something tells me that Ezenwa might just nick it grin

Don't get me wrong, it's probably gonna be Akpeyi especially since he plays in South Africa, but I just don't want anybody to see that as a settled case. To me, aside from Carl Ikeme, the goalkeeping position is still open.

Not always, but most of the time, especially during sunrise and sunset. Actually we have entered our rain season "Kermit" yesterday. It will last for 3 months. But the coolest season is in Meskerme, Tqmt and Hdare(September, October and August).

* not all Ethiopia experience same season. The highland part is different from the lowland.

I don't care for English groomed players ,especially the mixed ones. I hope they play for England and I wish them the best.

They don't freak me too. However anyone who is willing to play for us should be welcomed into the fold but we should not put ourselves in overdrive pining for them. If you count we already have a good number of foreign borns.

They are unwittingly carrying out espionage on behalf of SA all in the name fishing for news. They are doing a great job but once the coach closes the door the privacy of the team should be respected.

Revealed – Why Swansea City Have Slight Edge Over West Ham In Race To Sign Onyekuru

The race for hot in demand KAS Eupen forward Henry Onyekuru will hot up in the coming days when he is expected to decide between a host of teams in England, France and Germany who are after his signature.

Onyekuru will arrive England on Monday the 12th of June for talks with interested parties which includes West Ham United, Arsenal, Newcastle United and Swansea City.

The striker who is in the camp of the senior national team of Nigeria preparing for this weekend AFCON 2019 Qualifiers against South Africa has confessed his desires to move to Arsenal, but he could end up at Swansea City.

Represented by Mercato Sports, the leading agent in the company Mark Mckay has close ties with Swansea City after helping out in the recruitment of the Ayew brothers Andre and Jordan.

Same can be said of his ties with West Ham but his bridges with the team were burnt a bit after the high profile and controversial departure of one of his client Dmitri Payet in January.

Payet’s departure strained Mckay’s relationship with West Ham who are also in for Onyekuru, while Swansea City still regards him highly due to his role in the recruitment and sales of players that helped the club made money and also remained in the Premier League.

This guy should go to Nice if they're really interested in him. He gets to play UCL football and develop under a coach like Favre.

sir...I don't think so
to these guys they've made the best decisions ever to choose England over Nigeria....
only a miracle will make any renege on these pledge....
moreover many will be drafted into the 3 lions sooner or later...the English FA will want to infuse some into the 3 lions team....so as to to transfer same success to the senior team...
