Joebie: Freddie Kanoute, Mesut Ozil, Nasri... All these players have played games while fasting. They just need to be well hydrated in the morning and they will be fine. |

So why would you start a player who cannot play 90 mins, especially if you plan on starting TWO of them? That's like deliberating walking with ONE leg when you've got two legs. Do you wanna cut your options of making changes by more than 75%? What if a pair of players got injured? O pari tbaba1234: 2 Likes |

Joebie: Everything you say is correct. But I would qualify it with one over riding phrase. WHO DO U KNOW. I know multiples of agents who have registration but don't know anybody. Indeed this is not too sound conceited but they often come to me. |

Networking. That's one skill many Nigerians lack. But we blame the system every time. Everyone feels nothing works so they never try -- consistently komekn: |

Joebie: Networking in Nigeria and networking in the UK are totally different add to the mix being black and you got your work cut out. Finally, you often project from your social circle. How many black managers deh English football. How many recruitment heads are black in the league system. You see d wahala. Hard but not impossible got to be versatile and ingenious. 1 Like |

forgiveness: Who is Onomah? Josh of Spurs? Isn't he attacking minded? If if he is defensive, comparing him to Ndidi is sacrilegious. A player who is chopping bench everyday Tho I know u re just having fun towards that comparison but it's too far and it would be better if you do compare him to Grade A bench warmers like him |
Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by jargo89(m): 7:29pm On Jun 09, 2017 |
Humility017:You cant be too sure of that. Most footballers play for reputable countries for age-grade tournaments, but prefer the senior teams of their birth nation; an example is Zaha. The reason is mainly becos during this period; they have a better chance of developing in those 'developed' countries than the African countries. But as they age, and it bcomes difficult to enter the team, they start to deviate towards the country of birth. However, this ia not in all cases such as in Alli's case. |
