Abiola died a month after abacha, so abacha didn't kill him. Rather some abacha loyalist/western powers and unknown people did.

He ran away once, came back, was being hidden from from one shanty to another till his silly ar.se was captured and detained till death. He wanted another chance to jaa (take off) but it was denied him because his brothers could not arrange it, plus they even sold him out anyways.

Poor wretched soul, he did not know that his people are sell-outs.

Brave - Yes. Wise?? Don't think so. With the military not being on his side, it was totally hopeless. Add the Nigerian factor to it and you see he was on a long thing.
