I don't know the reason why the external forces and some super powers Countries didn't support him to achieve his mandate, he's elections with Tofa is the best free and fair elections in Nigeria history. Abi I wrong? grin

He ran away once, came back, was being hidden from from one shanty to another till his silly ar.se was captured and detained till death. He wanted another chance to jaa (take off) but it was denied him because his brothers could not arrange it, plus they even sold him out anyways.

Poor wretched soul, he did not know that his people are sell-outs.

... He won the election no doubt, but I don't think he deserves the mountain they are making out of the mole hill..

Besides why didn't his people allow the change of name from Unilag to MKO Abiola University..

Look at you.....so calling their bluff to you is a suicide mission. okay I hear you, but I know very soon you will still come here and say Yorubas are cowards...Yet only Yoruba man has ever called the bluff of the military and stood his groumd. The first person(Ojukwu) that tried it ran with his head in between his legs.....lol

Chest beaters !!!

Your history is bad. He ran away, then came back, made this treasonable statements and was committed in prison where he died a wretched and sorrowful man. The brilliant and valiant man fought with his father's wealth and was begged to leave the Biafran enclave by his people when your people sold out and became saboteurs. Guess what, he came back a Hero, married a Miss Nigeria, and lived a meaningful life till ripe old age. His people believed in him and never forsook him, Abiola's people (Tinubu and Soyinka) abandoned him when it became rough. A trend you guys have always been known for.

I hear it was free and fair. If anyone supported him, the Yorubas will be blabbing today. No one believed the Yorubas enough to want to support them, They would have found a way of selling out. Anyways they already sold him out to their Gambari Lords

;DMay be you were too young then or not born, this stammerer ran away but was tricked back into the country by his Judas friends in the north only for them to kill him with a cup of tea! Just like that.
How many millions of people died for the June 12 cause? Small boy/girl grin

They even butchered his wife in broad day light!!

My friend from across the Niger is here again with distorted history....Abiola ran away you say? will you guys ever speak the truth in your life time?.....

Mr Man..what was Yoruba's connection with Biafra....Yoruba sold out? You people will continue to spread lies and live in pain. Was Yoruba part of your miserable Biafra....Your stupid Ojukwu who lacked foresight and vision called for a war Igbos were not financially, militarily, strategically and economically ready. He sacrificed millions of your fathers kinsmen for no just reason and yo are here spewing rubbish.

He cam back a hero you say? ......you must be suffering from congenial deformities....Ojukwu that begged and sent many pleas to Shagari before he was pardoned..He was pardoned as a repentant tyrant......he is no definition of a hero...you can google and see how some of yor kinsemen (the few reasonable ones have castigated Ojukwu)....

You said Abiola's people abandoned him?.................you definitely inherited lies ffrom your fathers...so it was your kinsmen that were running Radio Kudirat and Nadeco?

You and your unreasonable lots on this site can spread all the lies you want, the truth is known, which are:

1. Yorubas stopped Biafra soldiers at Ore via a thorough defeat of deluded men and boys who had no sense.

2. Yorubas led the military army that went in to the inner houses of yeebos in the east and gave them the beating of their life during the civil war cos they lacked sense.

IN THE SCHEME OF THINGS IN NIGERIA; YORUBAS ARE NOT YEEBOS MATE.......YEEBOS ARE IRRELEVANT, your lots will continue to be second class citizen and if you try to secede, you know what your fate will be.........unfortunate children of hate and pain.

You caused the distortion of the Nigerian political system through that unfortunate military coup of 1966 and for centuries to come you will pay for it.

Are you sure about this? He trusted the military? There is a whole lot of misinformation going on.

He trusted everybody from the military, to IBB his friend, his Hausa connection, his CIA and international friends, above all, some of his own Yoruba elders betrayed him -- even Shofolahan his wife's aide sold her to Sergeant Rogers and Al Mustapha for N1m!

Deal with and accept defeat

Your masters killed MKO Abiola and his wife and you did nothing

Your masters Hausa/Fulani declared war against Biafra for saying enough of these injustice and fellow Biafrans rose up to the occasion

Stop shifting the goal post and channel your anger to Housa/fulani dominated military who annulled MKO Abiola's Mandate. A election judged by international observers as the freest election in the history of the Zoo Republic.

Enough of this cowardice that you guys always display.

When will you summon the courage to direct your anger where it rightfully belonged? What are you afraid of ?

Shut the Bleep up....
This man is a man of prestige and transparency...
Don't be blinded by tribal disconsonance..

I AM A FULL BLOODED IGBO,,AND I SUPPORT THE RESENTLESS EFFORT AND RESTORATION OF BIAFRA
Bt honestly this man declaration speech nailed it...
Its just so disheartening that those people he talked about in his speech are still ruling Nigeria under the guise of civilian regime...They are wolfs in sheep clothing ,,,,

I jst still wonder why all those people that would have transformed Nigeria in a mega nation was sabotage by free moving heartless savages....

Honestly if what this man said in 1993 is still transpiring in our today Nigeria then Nigeria won't grow even come the next 100 years if this stance is still maintained

This is june 12,2017.. I was curious to know how he[Abiola] died and did a little research..
It was a master write up on how abiola died and my questions are as fellow.
1.As powerful as Abiola was,he got arrested, killed and what did the Yorubas did...Nothing i think.
2.Does it mean he was alone
3.Why was there no Massive Protest like that of Biafrans when Kanu was arrested??
For me,i can sincerely say that Yorubas are never Brothers keepers rather Saboteurs.
I expected every Yoruba to Protest Massively which will then enable Slami to kill many of them[Genocide] and today will make him face war against unarmed people.
Yourba are fools,idiots.
Kanu is a living hero!!!!

Quit notice giving to Igbos living in the North is very silly and dumb to every right thinking person

If you truly want us out. Support our call for Biafra by asking Federal government of the Zoo, AU and UN to grant Biafrans A REFERENDUM, that's how things are done and not quit notice.
