Ntel is now a VERY USELESS network. I paid for 1 week and since 2 days now, I've NEVER seen my download speed reach 1MB/s not even once. Not even reach 1MB and drop. Always at 100-200KB/s. Just imagine. You call that 4G?!!!

Back to Spectranet! Spectranet isn't perfect either, but i still see up to even 3MB/s at times.

When next you guys want to use what i wrote in a mail to all ur customers, show them this post also.

They have been calling me since and begging me to calm down, that they are working on something something in my area. I'm sure they will still call me again after they see this post.

NTEL! YOUR NETWORK IS CRAP!

Call me, I will be waiting!

I did the one week plan and it was very good. Rarely had down time and speed was avg of 1MB/s most times. It expired yesterday and I decided to do the 1 month plan today. Since I did it I never get pass 150-200 KB/s. No time fast at all. I tire

I have some questions
Does Swift have any unlimited plan, if yes what is/are the cost and is it really unlimited or it is capped at a certain amount
Also where is your location
I have a swift sim card at home and I am making enquiries on unlimited data plans available from different ISPs

they have almost same plan with spectranet except the 24hrs unlimited and most importantly they don't throttle their unlimited night speed

they don't have 24hrs unlimited (to the best of my knowledge) though they have 20gig for 8k with unlimited between 12-6am (no rollover), 14gig with unlimited between 12-6am (with rollover)

Quite interesting. The 20GB for 8K and unlimited is not bad at all! I rather 12 to 6 than 1-7.

Plus, for the first time ever! In the early hours of today, Spectranet was going above 1.5MB/s. Even up to 3MB/s.
Re: Subscriber Options for UNLIMITED Internet - WORTH IT? by malikalhaj: 1:55pm On Jun 15, 2017
you also need to check your reception, if u have 5bars on swift u will enjoy it, i only have 4 bars and its cool. my friend has 5 and his speed is better than mine so. . . .

Spectranet was really fast this morning. i use the nights mostly for movie downloads, i don't care much for the Timing of the night browsing as i'm able to schedule the start time for downloads on my phone.
My spectranet experience has been good, few downtimes, and i'm not a sucker for crazy speeds.

Happy i didnt enter ntel trap.

I know they don't have 24 hours unlimited but what I want to be sure of before buying the plan is that is it really unlimited at night or is it capped and is the speed faster at night (cos it is supposed to be) or they throttle it?

I heard it's 100GB tho. Not exactly. Unlimited.
I know spectranet's own is 200GB.

Educate me please

What device do you use on the Spectranet network?

I see on their website that they have three types of devices. indoor, outdoor and mobile i believe.

And what do u recommend?

hi guys. good morning
where do I purchase ntel sim?
Re: Subscriber Options for UNLIMITED Internet - WORTH IT? by Nobody: 8:43am On Jun 16, 2017

i use both indoor and mobile devices

at home, i use a TP link TL-MR6400 modem [desktop modem]
on the road, i use a huawei mifi modem

recommendation depends on use

i live in a storey building, and i was having challenges sharing data between devices. the mifi's network was not powerful enough, nd it could not be connected to a router. so i got a desktop modem, connected same to router and now i have full network coverage.

if you plan on using it at home, get the desktop modem

if however, you plan on being on the road, then you need the mobile one.

best advice would be for you to get the sim and buy any modem of your choice. [not sure they make sales like that]

the modems most of them sell are locked to networks so if you can buy your own tplink or dlink modem, it will be more convenient

as to outdoor, i think they are referring to the antenna, which is purported to bost reception/signal.

4llerbuntu, our resident linux/android/xiaomi/tecno/3g/4g expert ad all around ntel troll will tell you there is no benefit from the antenna. i'm inclined to agree with him.

if you have the paper or yen though, go for it.

Hian.

Me Ntel troll? This is very unfair, and i wee not take eeet. Everyone here knows that i'm Ntel's biggest fan and stan(minus ley08) *coughs*

Even Ntel staff here will testify to how i'm their bestest customer of the year.

Anyways, the scam of the outdoor GSM antenna has been upon us since the days of Methuselah. having tried several, including those sold by Swift, Spectranet and some random brands from the market, i verily saith unto thee that they simply do not work.

Just install LTE Discovery or any other similar app that can enable you see the signal level on your android phone with NTEL sim in it (some custom roms allow you to switch the signal bar to dBm text too) and walk round your house looking at the signal level.

the place with the lowest dBm is where the signal is strongest, put your desktop modem there. Daz all

and if in your place you are unable to get anything lower than 90dBm, the signal level is too weak to be of any reasonable use to you tbh.
