Brothers please help me out o, my Redmi note 4 has suddenly developed a serious power issue. The phone now charges abnormally fast and discharges even faster. I tried to get an exact scenario today, the phone charged from 0 to 100% in an hour, (I have a good charger but it charges in like 1hr45min or more before now). Now to the real wahala, the phone dropped from 100 to 85% in 15mins of standby (like zero usage, I just switched it on and let it be, no backlight, nothing), the battery dropped from 85 to 66% in the next 10mins of normal use, just opened whatsapp and twitter only, very heartbreaking) as I'm typing this, the battery has gone below 50% and it's not even 30mins after full charge. Please what could be the problem? This is happening too soon, not with all the good feedbacks xiaomi has been recording on here.

What charger/usb cord have you been using? What power source have you been charging from?

Allow the phone to drain until it switches off, wait for like 10 minutes and charge it up. Leave it switched off till it's full.

If the above does not work, then you may need a factory reset.
